I love going on walks at Riverview Park. It is gorgeous scenery and such a fun place to go as the seasons change. The reason it doesnt get 5 stars is because there are just. so. many. cars. So many cars drive by, lots of the time theyre going too fast, and it makes our walks very interrupted.

Beautiful views of theMississippi River. Its fun watching the tug boats pushing the barges through the channel and under the narrow bridges.

It was neat... I mean real neat. Just a great scenic view of the Mississippi River, Hannibal, and Illinois State. The posted pictures pretty show you whats there. I wouldnt go out of my way to come to Riverview Park, but if you have some free time I would recommend stopping by.

Very scenic views of the Mississippi River and Illinois State line. Tree covered drives keep the area cool and shaded in the summer. Prepare to feel like youre driving on the wrong side of the road because of how they set up the one way road.

Nice, well kept park. Was a great place to take our kids and bikes for a nice bike ride. Very scenic views as well.

Enjoyed a nice late winter walk to and through this pretty park from my downtown Hannibal hotel. The trails weren’t very well marked or maintained but there were some decent views along there way. I saw several bald eagles and no people.

This was great. Part of the road is blocked off. Not sure if I missed something or not. My son and I walked a little ways in the road closed to motor traffic. It we got hot and headed back to the car. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms. The playground was great for the kids too. Beautiful view of the mighty Mississippi!

It is a nice park but we were looking for more trails. Not much there for that. I think that Sodalis Park is way better for that and has many more sights to see and explore, on and off the trail.

Very clean and got to see deer and black squirrels that I had never seen before in my life. Great view of the river and perfect photo opp.

Nice and clean park with beautiful overlook of the river with plenty of space to explore. Extremely clean and even had a kids playground area. Only concern was no bathroom was accessible during our visit.

Very beautiful spot overlooking the Mississippi River. There are some nice hiking trails through the woods, but the overlooks are also accessible by car. A great place to stop and have a picnic or stretch your legs when traveling I-70. Easily accessible from the highway.

This is a wonderful place to visit in any season. The park provides overlooks with views of the river and landscapes the area is well known. There are also areas to let your kids and dogs run, have picnics, family gatherings etc. Restroom facilities are available. This is also an excellent place to ride bikes and hike, most paths are black topped. My husband and I biked and hiked many miles here and Ive taken hundreds of photos.

River view park has a special place in my heart. The trails and trees surrounding it is beautiful. Great place for a walk or a picnic. River view was a usual date night place my boyfriend would go to. And now we got engaged there.

I went to Riverview Park today to overlook the Mississippi River as it rises during its flood stage. This is a beautiful Park and its well-maintained. There are three or four different Scenic views across the states of Missouri and Illinois from this park the most beautiful being from the statue of Samuel Clemens which overlooks the Mississippi River. I highly recommend this part to any person traveling anywhere near Hannibal Missouri

Beautiful park with lots of natural areas areas to walk and hike in and playground areas for the kids. Also has covered area for barbecue and picnics and public restrooms. Excellent overlooks of the Mississippi River that are great for taking pictures with scenery changing with the seasons.

Nice drive with overlook stops to view the bend in the mighty Mississippi River... favorite time is during colorful autumn.

Nice park. It Has a short paved hiking trail in need of repairs. It needs more unpaved longer having trails. If you want to take a longer walk or hike go to sodalis preserve In Hannibal, it has much better trails and is well maintained.

A great park to check out and get away from the tourism. Very clean and litter free.

Me and some friends ate lunch here last fall. Beautiful on a sunny day. Great views of the river and a really cool Mark Twain statue. A nice big park with a walking trail too I believe. Recommend if you need to picnic somewhere in the Hannibal area.

Riverview Park is the perfect park to take your family too. The luscious vegetation its perfectly groomed, so you can take a nice stroll through it or even get an amazing job in. There are plenty of safe places for the kids to play and most importantly the restrooms are kept clean and up to date.

The view is outstanding. You can almost see Hick Finn down there on the river Islands playing pirate. Totally worth the 3 min. Off the highway to see

Awesome park always has been

There were a few cars and the trails were too wide in places. The grounds were very well tended and pretty. The restrooms were out of order due to a water line problem. However, there were clean porta potties available, which were greatly appreciated.

Its FREE. First time visit. If in Hannibal, this is a must see simply because it is so big. Dont miss the Mark Twain statue or the river overlooks. If you have a crowd and plan a picnic, this would be the place. We did not check out any of the bathrooms, so that we cant rate. The roads signs are very helpful, but sometimes it was not clear to me when the road transitioned to two way. The car in the middle of the road going the opposite direction was a pretty good indication. But to the parks department, well done.

Its beautiful surroundings, the nature trails, the Mark Twain statue to the east with a deep quote embedded into the plaque, and a gorgeous view of the Mississippi River at the coast, Riverview Park is a must see in the Hannibal area.

We didnt know Hannibal had a really nice park. We would like to to go back when we have more time.

Despite a large sign we missed the entrance to the park twice, thinking it was a driveway, so look for the park sign, there is no road sign.The overlook was really nice and we had a picnic lunch, but didnt have a chance to see much else of the park.

I dont hate it. Its a sad place for me to go

Beautiful place for a walk

Love this park! Has a play ground, grills, picnic tables and bathrooms. Lots of open spaces to run and play with a dog or kids -- huge game of football!Nice long driving (or walking!) roads - very scenic. There are also actual paved paths through the timber to walk. Easier for wrangling kids without having to deal with passing cars. Pathways are even and a wheelchair will ride nicely on them, although there are some steep hills to traverse!

We stopped here on our way back from a mission trip. It was really neat to drive along the bluffs and get little glimpses of the river. Thankfully we stopped right where the treeline opened up and had our lunch with a panoramic view of the Mississippi! There was a statue of Samuel Clemens overlooking the river, and it was a really neat place to have some Little Caesars pizza and reflect on how our trip went. Sadly it was pretty humid out so we didnt spend much time here, but Id definitely recommend checking it out if youre passing through town. Personally Id really like to come back on my own time and look around a little more!
