Lovely waterfront park, a beautiful place to see the sunrise. The park has a small bandstand, perfect for summer concerts, and lots of people launch kayaks from the pier.

Plenty of space to fish and police and park rangers give you a break

We went to eat donuts from Glazed Donuts and walk Maggie. It was lovely.

I love local gems! I saw that there would be a Heritage day at Mill Point Park and I was excited to go. I didnt realize that this park was even here. Its small but its by the river and its such a chill spot. I will definitely be back.

Mill Point Park is a large park that we went to for the Jamaican Festival. It was the first time we had been and it was fun. The live music was of course the best part. There was not as many vendors as I thought there was going to be, but we really only went for the music so who cares lol. It was definitely something we would think about doing again.

Peaceful. I forgot about that place. Nice spot to sit and either meditate, eat lunch, daydream or what have you. Its just a nice place to relax near the water. I love that!

Chesapeake Reggae Festival was a blast! Mill Point Park is very scenic. Beautiful place for outdoor activities.

One of the best park that I have been with there are a lot of things to do in here, like walking, jogging and picnics of course its either you do it with your family or with your friends...

Came here for the reggae festival it was amazing lots of artist came out to this event. I had an awesome time. Nice view of the water behind the stage.

Nice park and event venue. Audience seating for stage will burn you on a hot, sunny day - bring a towel to sit on.

I like the area. I attended a vegan festival and I like that it was interactive. The area is clean with a pretty lake that has a swing. I would definitely attend another event hosted at Mill Point Park.

Mill Point Park hosts family events that are safe and fun! The location is in old downtown Hampton positioned near the waterfront! The spring and summer concerts are the best and they are normally free. Be sure to check the website for Hampton Events for more details. I am a local and enjoy mingling with other great people who attend the events.

Enjoyed the Chesapeake Reggae festival and all the vendors. Music was great and crowd well maintained. Will be back again.

I like the area for family concerts. Ample parking across the street and nearby.

Great times at the Pirate festival

Just left the VegFest here; had never been to this park before. It is beautiful and quiet! Great location and street parking was easy to grab, even at this event!

This a a pleasant little park with a small outdoor theater.Often incorporated into downtown events.It has four Pokémon Go stops in one compact area. Is a popular place for Pokémon game players and dog walkers to visit most days.

Blackbeards Festival was fun. Mill Point is an excellent area to celebrate any festival. The location on the water is very appealing and they always make sure the public has a good time for the entire family.

There is a historical home walk adjacent to this park and there are a lot of family oriented festivals close by throughout the year. I wish that the kayak launch was a little more developed so people could more easily explore the river.

This is a nice little park within the city limits, which I discovered by following the Hampton University tower. The park overlooks the Hampton River and just a short drive over the bridge, guides you you to the Hampton University campus.

Convenient parking, safe walkways on the waterfront. Nice family friendly events.

Beautiful park tucked away in the corner of Downtown Hampton. Has an outdoor stage area, perfect for festivals maybe even an outdoor wedding.

Crabtown Seafood Festival was nice but not enough food vendors. Ran out of food. ️

Went there for the Caribbean fest. Had a terrible experience! The site is too small for popular happenings and the city keeps funneling venues there!. Not enough security and we felt unsafe due to the massive crowd in such a small area. As a former law enforcement officer, I was constantly looking out for security. Lastly, there was no less than 300 people on each of the 4 food lines. Maybe good for very small gatherings like a book reading for kids or a kids movie.

There are sitting areas along the paths for tired hikers or just to sit and enjoy the view. The dog park looked interesting however I did not use it.Im definitely returning to this park again when I get the chance.

Its a great little spot in the city to host festivals and concerts. Well-maintained and staffed!

All the vendors, activities, the bands and DJs were all put together so wonderfully for the Seafood Fest...they were all AWESOME!!

This is a nice green area park, and there are occasionally some very cool events held here. It is just on the edge of downtown Hampton, and makes a nice place to stage a walk through town

This was the International Childrens Festival.The streets were blocked off in Olde Downtown Hampton and tents set up for the various countries. It was very interesting and interactive for kids of all ages.There was also Food for purchase and tables to sit at which was very convenient.The stage area by the harbor hosted performances throughout the day. It was a wonderful experience for the entire family.

Have both staged and attended events in this location for over 10 years. Pretty well maintained for a downtown green park, and has interesting but accessible terrain for those with restricted mobility.

Nice location to stop by and have a outside lunch. Not much to do here other than walk around.

Theres a parking garage there, but limited to 66. Hard to find parking otherwise. Beautiful views, dock access, bangin amphitheatre, slopes for sitting and plenty of dog poo posts. Pretty decent park. Needs more Pokemon tho.

I mean ... its a park, so cant be that bad? Decent water view in downtown Hampton that can be quiet at times. Theyve done a craftbeer festival at least once here so be on the lookout for that (rain or shine like it was when I went). Parking can be harder to find).

Not really a park, more like a patch of grass with a tree on it. But theres a merry go round and its right next to the James River and a bank so you should have everything covered.

Had a great time here for the Blackbeard Pirate Festival. Its a pretty little pocket park between townhomes and office buildings with a nice view. Easy to get to off the Interstate.
