Little cute run down church. A lot of old graves that you cant read anymore. Looks like ppl go there at night and drink with Robert. It was pretty awesome.

We visited last September, 2019. It was very humbling.I only wish the site was better preserved and looked after ... It is after all one of the most significant memories of Blues history.

WEAR BOOTS or else, watch out for SNAKES! The area is Definitely Rural MS farmland, but only a few miles outside downtown Greenwood (amazing historical architecture). I could feel Robert Johnsons Blues all around me, especially when Google maps took me down 7 miles of gravel road as fastest route back to Beale...Loved it!

Just a couple miles from The Bobbie Gentry Bridge, the blues icon Robert Johnson is buried. I had to stop and pay my respects.
