Awesome experience. I came on a Wednesday at 4pm and it was not crowded at all. Drove an RV and there were plenty of spots. Love that they allow re-entry. The park even provides lots of sun block lotion. Restrooms have clean showers with hot water (love that I wont have to use the RV water to shower tonight )

It was great. We got screened for fevers and they had face masks on. We had ours on. Yeah not the usual way of getting into a place but hey cant help but be safe right? Friendly people and staff. Not only is it affordable but squeaky clean like super clean. Better than any water park establishment on cleanliness, snack bar, and the bathrooms were shiny clean. We had to get out the of the pools a bunch of times due to someone with a small child having an accident in the pool luckily it was cleaned and we were all invited back into the water and then a storm wanted to come in but didnt happen. It was nice, my family finally got together since quarantine has happened and it happened to be the best birthday gift for my twin sons and my youngest son had so much fun that he thought it was his birthday.Thank you to all the kind people here for your hospitality and the great experience. Also thanks to the girl on the slide that let me bring in an extra water bottle for my son that has epilepsy super sweet.

The kids enjoy themselves while visiting here. They dont have enough shaded areas. There really isnt any pool to just swim in. The lazy river is relaxing. The water slides are fun. The consession food is okay and somewhat pricey. There are plenty of lifeguards on duty at all times. When it is crowded the quality of fun decreases and it is almost always crowded. Theres plenty of parking space and a park on the outside of the fenced in water park that the kids enjoy. We bring our own drinks and snacks. There are some cabanas that can be rented for guaranteed shade. If you want a free giant umbrella or gazebo to sit under i suggest getting there early.

A fantastic water park, certainly worth the price. It does get crowded, but nothing detrimental. I would like to note, that it is a water park, and thus doesnt have a large traditional swimming pool as you might expect with other community pools. So its not exactly the best place to just swim. But there is plenty else to do in the water.

They wont allow kids in life jackets to do the slide or the diving boards. There is very small space for actual swimming. The lazy river is really the only thing for kids in life preservers to do. But the lazy river is so full of mostly rowdy teens that they should rename it the crazy river. A little heat added to the pool would make it a lot more comfortable. A lot of the little ones has purple lips and they were shaking due to the temperatures.

One of the nicest parks I have ever visited. It was a very long walk to the shelter house (I am disabled) but I made. Restroom was very convenient as well as a small area for swinging for little ones. I wish we couldve driven to the shelter house, thats my only complaint. All in all a very nice park!!

Overall, I think the place is really great. I look forward to returning in a few years based on the reasons below.Positives: The price is very good for everything there. I felt the staff was above par, and witnessed the life guards do an AMAZING job of being alert and quick.Negatives: My daughter just turned 6, and this place was not geared for her age group. They have a great area for toddlers through 4 year olds, and the water slides are 48” minimum (clearly posted), but nothing really for her. She was too tall/old for the kiddie area, but too short to enjoy anything else. So, yes we will return once my daughter is tall enough to have a good time.

Awesome place to take the kiddos for a fun filled day of cooling off and going swimming!! Admission is definitely reasonable and not too expensive on top of some of the things they sell at the concession stand being affordable. Lots of different swimming areas, life jackets are available but many are falling apart. If you are wanting to use the lounge chairs come early to get one or choose to sit in the grassy areas. I suggest you bring a cooler with ice and water bottles. They have a pretty goid concession stand. Popcorn for $1; icees for $2.50 (small) is plenty big enough; soft pretzels $3.00, cheese .50; so decent prices. Its clean, staff are very on top of it, lifeguards are awesome! Top of thier game for sure here. It was $10 for adults, $8 for child if you are not a resident of Greenwood, but if you stay the day you get your moneys worth.

It’s a good park. The lifeguards are good and the park is clean. The height limit is a little high for the intensity of the slides, and the rules for the diving boards are a little too strict. No jumping backwards, no backflips? It’s geared towards smaller kids but they can’t ride the slides. The actual swimming area is way too small and gets crowded quickly. The lazy river isn’t much fun. I wouldn’t recommend for adventurous kids under 48”

Maybe its different at regular times, but I attempted to go with my husband to the 21+ Adult Night tonight, and NEVER again. They provided no direction ahead of time, as far as what to expect...probably because it was a mess. It was supposed to start at 8pm. We sat and waited in our car to even get in line until we saw the line start to move around 8:15. Very disorganized. By the time we got in there, it was after 8:30. Then by the time my husband used the bathroom and we tried to figure out where to sit, let alone where to put our few belongings (I didnt feel safe leaving anything unattended, and who knows if anyone in general could use the special lockers), and where to enter the water, I was beyond frustrated. It was over-crowded, so you felt like a sardine, and at that point, with all the fun zapped from the event, we left. Im upset that we wasted $30 for entry-alone, but Id rather take the loss than spend another miserable minute there. And the staff? Less than helpful, or friendly for that matter. We definitely were not the only ones complaining. We will NOT be returning.

Really sad that I have to post this, youd think it would be common sense.

The pool is usually full of kids so not much free swimming space for older adults but still a fun place to go.

Before visiting FS for the first and only time, I considered buying a season pass, and figured I would check it out first. Not only will I not purchase a season pass, but I will never go back there again. The place is very poorly run, and many (but not all) of the teenagers staffing the park are either unprofessional or downright rude. Rules are not enforced, and there are not any signs or arrows helping direct traffic flow or explaining proper etiquette. Children and even adults breaking the rules are neither confronted by staff nor asked to leave after repeated safety violations. Despite swimmers fighting over scarce inner tubes/floats, I observed a locked gate holding back hundreds of them. Also, one of the slides had such poor water pressure that both myself and my little boy (46 pounds) got stuck and had to walk the rest of the way off. The whole place is a huge free-for-all. I neither feel safe nor respected at FS water park.

We went there a lot in 2017 and 2018. Its a beautiful facility and lots of fun. But it is crowded on hot summer days.I had a lot of good trips to Freedom Springs. Then there was Labor Day 2018. My girlfriends purse was picked as she stood, distracted, at the lockers. A thief stole her cell phone and wallet with all ID and credit cards. The thief shut off her phone immediately, and while a Greenwood Police Officer interviewed us in the office, the thief used her debit card to buy food and soda 75 feet away.Have a good time, enjoy this beautiful new facility, but watch your stuff.

The pool got crowded fairly quickly, there werent enough tubes for the lazy river. The tubes problem in particularly was ridiculous because the folks reserving the cabanas had about 30 of them in and around the cabanas for their use. It was like that for the first two hours I was there before employees made an announcement about it, and it started again an hour later.Other than that my only complaints are they need more square footage for swimming, it gets very full.
