Attended a baby shower here. Looked pretty clean, plenty of space, and our shelter was right beside a playground so the children stayed entertained. Overall, Id definitely return.

This park has a nice sprayground and two playgrounds. When you walk around the trails it smell pretty bad; not sure what it is but it smells... there is also a stage for concerts and play performances...

Went for disc golf under construction and a few holes are missing but will be nice to play when done

I love this park there is a space for bigger kids and toddlers, and it’s nice and sunny so perfect for a fall day!

I LOVE THIS PLACE THE ONLY THING IS IF YOU ARE GOING THERE MAKE SURE YOU ARE WITH SOMEBODY ELSE, IT IS ALMOST EMPTY MOST OF THE TIME AND CAN BE A LITTLE BIT TERRIFYING. ANY BAD EXPERIENCE JUST A RECOMMENDATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND WOMENS.

Disc golf course used to be amazing, but now it needs some love. I hope they resurrect it, shows a lot of potential from what still remains.

I was disappointed because the park was open but the play area was closed but understandable due to the present pandemic. Didnt get to enjoy

Beautiful park with a great, scenic walking trail.

First time there and its a very nice venue. Attended a private Birthday party. They even provided a Greensboro police officer for security. Would definitely consider renting this event center!!

Great place for your family. They offer hiking, disc golf, hiking and more. Great playground and maintained regularly. Our son LOVES going here

Very nice venue. The party went off great. If you get there before that youre allowed to go in, dont try it. They might haul you off.

Its a good place to go walking or take the kiddos for a splash at the splash pad during the summer or a nice grass free playground. They have new construction going on right now as of 12.4.2019 hopefully it will be finished when park season returns.

Great playgrounds including a free water playground. The playgrounds are surrounded by the shelter areas. Its a great place to have a gathering with friends and family.

Beautiful park! I visited today with a large group and it accommodated everyone well. The restrooms were in good condition and there were plenty of places to have a picnic. The grounds were clean and well-kept. If Im ever in the area again Ill definitely come back to visit with my child!

Plenty of parking and easy to walk around the park. We recently spent the day and night at a blues festival there and had a very good time.

Was a great pit stop for our road trip with two kids. Nice clean playground and not too far from the highway. Also has a restroom to use next to the playground.

I went to the Y, its work but I always enjoy feel better afterwards.

Most definitely a fun place for the family. Splash pad is the best. Shelters are adequate and the play area is great.

We enjoyed our time at the park celebrating our granddaughter graduation cookout. The accommodations were clean the grounds person on duty kept the trash and was very helpful during our stay. We would love to use this park again.

Visited the new Barber Park Center. Situated amongst the densely wooded area of the park, this center is a gem. Large floor to ceiling windows provide panoramic views of trees, birds, and gentle walking paths. The Ruth Wicker celebration of local women is the first of its kind. Southeast Greensboro is looking great.

This place was renovated this past year and it is Beautiful. They have certain days for basketball that keeps my husband and his brothers active and in good shape. The place is Beautiful! Cant wait till summer so we can book a shelter and have a huge family function. They have lots of sporting events for all ages. Sundays are one of the best days to attend events at this facility. They have grills so you can cook out with family. They have small parks for the kids and they have bathrooms you can use while you are at the park. This facility is a must see and the lawn is Beautiful and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I love this park!! Wide open spaces. Plenty shelter/grill spaces. Walking trail. Playground & Splash zone for kids. If you havent been since the construction, check it out! (Back by the baseball field)

It was very nice. The only thing I didnt like, the water was cut off at 5:30pm. The Saturday I went was very hot.

An interactive, beautiful landscape park to bring your children especially for birthday parties. They will really enjoy the splash pond!! It is a welcoming family atmosphere. The music series are jamming for all buffs; Bluegrass, R&B, Greensboro Divas, Blues Festival, jazz, local school bands and Orchestra, Summer music in the park, etc. Wonderful talent! They just open a beautiful, elegant new building for hosting events. At all the events that friendly Mrs Hightower will meet you there and sure make you feel welcome!

Love this YMCA. Its accommodating. The facility is clean, organized and well run. They have lots of good programs that they offer.

Love the park, but we came for the disc golf. This corse is a disaster. The map of the corse has to be a decade old and its wrong. Holes are not marked and some are even missing.

Disc golf, picnic areas, water play area in summer. Outdoor concert area. Indoor recreation facility - 8 tennis courts, hard surface, 4 (full length)? basketball courts.Facilities and grounds clean, maintained.Some small bounce imperfections in some tennis courts, and lighting a little less than adequate there (that is why I rate a 4 instead of 5), but overall a good experience, would recommend.

What a wonderful clean and creative park to walk in. It has gardens, figurines, landmsrks, history markers, and a memorial waterfall. Great place to take family n elderly.

This is a beautiful ballpark. There are statium seats. The hotdogs are actually good.

It was very nice to have the birthday at Barber Park. The children had a lot of fun.

We had a great time, very nice and clean.

My kids had a good time overall. Some parents stood at their cars and were not paying attention to their children. One of my girls was punched in the back by another toddler. Then another child was pushing and shoving some of the other kids. I was concerned that someone could become seriously injured. Upon speaking to one of the kids about their misbehavior, he spit at me and balled up his fist to hit me. This was bullying at its earliest stages. I was amazed to see such actions from these small children.

Lots of kids at water area for the grandkids to play with. It was clean and the ambience was pleasant.

My feelings are mixed on this one. Its a beautiful park built on the grounds of an old water treatment facility. Once again the park is beautiful but the soil has tested positive for lead. On that reason alone we dont go anymore.
