I am amazed at how the lakes and parks continue to stay closed even during Phase 1 of covid regulations. The Gov specifically stated parks should open up. Guilford Co is being robbed of our time in the parks.

They do a lot with little funding. Worked there for a little over a year before moving. Nice people.

I volunteer with the Greensboro Beautiful program and they are a great group of people who genuinely care about making our city a great place to be. If you are wanting to make a tangible impact on your community, definitely check them out! In addition to tree planting and litter clean up they also host several fun events in the parks.

This is a good place to be when in Greensboro. I knocked off 2 stars coz of the parking. We tried finding anything around but to no avail. And be careful GPS took us to entrance on northline street which is rather busy with no street parking. You can park in the Harris teeter lot or on the street that runs parallel to northline (forgot the name .. :/) which has plenty of street parking.The garden in itself is serene and well shaded with trees. There is a lake, small water fall and couple of hiking trails.Lot of wildflowers too. Must go if in town.
