It is very exciting that the historic Carolina Theatre has reopened using extremely safe COVID protocols! They have a great December line up of holiday movies! Be sure to order your tickets on line as only 100 total are being sold. Rest assured you will still have plenty of space to yourself because the theatre holds 1200 people! The concession stand is open as well. Win Win for all of us who love this theater!!

Beautiful theatre. Perfect venue for musical events! Sound system is amazing and very comfortable seating. Professional and courteous staff. Easy to locate in downtown Greensboro, NC and plenty of parking. Ill be back!

Great place to come and get away for a bit... Newly renovated, its a stunning place to come and step back in time. Offers a good mix of movies and live entertainment for everyone. Very welcoming and clean. Love the perk of having a good beer and wine selection to enjoy as well. Its a unique, fun and beautiful experience that should be enjoyed by all!

I love what this place is all about! Wow we went to see The Wizard of Oz! The kids and adults are so fortunate to be in this! Love it and the excitement in the air and just being in the building! A real asset to the community!!

The Carolina Theatre of Greensboro is one of my favorite places to watch movies. The staff is lovely and the theater has a “magical” quality. It’s nice to see movies on the big screen with an audience that loves and knows the movie, even if you’ve never seen it before.Aside from the movies, it’s a great place to hear music and watch plays. The prices are extremely reasonable and you’ll have a memorable experience no matter why you go.

Really like the new seats. Very comfortable when you have to site through a full day of dance recitals. Big plus the concession now accepts debit cards. Prices are not to bad.

This is an icon! So glad it has been renovated! The management is bringing a variety of entertainment. This was the US Air Force Heritage Band. They are phenomenal. I would highly recommend attending a performance.

I love the Carolina Theater! Have so many great memories from my childhood i.e. Circle K on Sat mornings, date nights,etc. It has been beautifully restored/maintained. Perfect venue for events that are not targeting the masses. Easy in easy out.

The theatre is a wonderful place but is limited in back stage space, rest rooms had issues, parking is difficult but will get better once parking deck is complete, many places to walk to and eat, however there seems to be more than normal homeless. The city really needs to focus and help these people. Beautiful theatre that I hope only gets better.

This theatre was simply gorgeous. The architecture had to be around the 1940s or even older and hinted of a time when entertainment was live. The staff were standing at the ready to be of any assistance.... overall if their happened to be another engagement there,, Ill be going

Went to see the Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs and Admiral Radio. What a great show! Then venue was beautiful, and the staff was superb. Shout out to April on sound and Tim on greeting and tickets.

Wow! What a treasure! First time visiting and the beautiful restoration is amazing. We are coming back now that the secret is out. Saw the Wailin Jennys and what a treat. You have gotta check it out.

Free events, quality shows, and good concession selections

This historic theatre is in a great location downtown with lots of parking. They recently finished renovations and it looks great. They show classic and cult favorite films as well as live productions. They serve beer and wine alone with snacks. Great place for a date.

Great theater for events downtown. Everything from weekend kids shows to hosting distinguished speakers. The concessions are typical: popcorn, beer, wine. There are a few other options, but adequate is a good fit.

Great old vaudeville grand theater restored to impeccable condition. Great acoustics for concerts and they also run classic movies as well! A real historic jewel in Greensboro.

Had a good time watching Christmas Vacation. Venue was almost full but everybody there was respectful and experience was awesome. Beautiful theater.

I had a hard time seeing the concert because the lady in front of me kept blocking my view.Gordon was amazing, service was excellent. Clean bathrooms.

The building is beautiful and the acoustics are great. The music from Mipso was awesome. One thing I think could be improved is the comfort of the seats. The backs are at an odd angle and before the opening act started my back was hurting badly.

We finally went to The Carolina Theatre tonight for a retro film, and we were not disappointed. The Theatre is an absolute gem, and its beautiful in every way. The Princess Bride on the big screen was a real treat, the tickets were reasonably priced, and the concessions were a bargain! We cant wait to go back again!

Nice venue. Neat and clean. The seating was comfortable. We went to see Sinbad. Enjoyed the show. Looking forward to more outings here.

This place was really cool never been here before but a good experience,only a couple of things needs to be fixed like the seating its not made for people with long legs and the mens bathroom was horrible,No one wants to urinate that close to anyone I dont care who you are !

Have been to many good shows, movies, events, etc at the Carolina Theatre. We were really looking forward to the Motown Christmas show. It was good for a while & we were really enjoying it. Unfortunately there were people there who were inconsiderate of others. They were dancing in the aisles & blocking our view of the performers. Three times I witnessed women fall into other guests. When we told the staff we were informed that the producers told them to let people have fun so there was nothing they could do about it. Really ruined the experience for us. I am so unhappy with this event that I will have to think long & hard about whether I will ever attend another event at the Carolina Theatre.

I love going to the Carolina Theater! I’ve been many times for many different performances, ranging for dance recitals to classic silent films. Amazing architecture and beautiful interior. Comfy seats, too!

Always have a great time here ever since I was a child. The concerts are always good. The comedy game show was great.

Great venue for classic movies, especially around Christmas. Reminds me and my wife of the restored theatre in the old movie The Majestic with Jim Carrey.

Classical style theater that is still nicely comfortable. Parking is a hard to get really close, but the parking garage has plenty to support many more.

Its my graduation day here. The theater is lively and very historical. A lot of famous people has been here. Various events are held here as well. Older building but well maintained.

The Carolina Theatre (The Crown) is a fabulous venue for poets, plays, and an intimate spot to get up and personal with amazing musicians like Amythyst Kiah.

Nice decor. Seats are comfortable though not highly cushioned. Good visibility of the stage. Holds probably 400 people.Nice facilities and staff.

A truly authentic and beautiful Theatre, feels like youve gone back in time. Very clean and all the Employees were extremely polite. And the newly renovated seats made the show much more enjoyable.

Stepping into history at a grand theater. Whether youre here for a play or a film youll be comfortable. If you grew up in the 50s and 60s and remember those movies at the local theater, than visit this grand lady. Youll be reminiscing the moment you walk in. Come early to any event though. Parking is hard to come by.

Beautiful. A special piece of history! Its always a wonderful experience to visit Carolina Theater, whether for a movie, play, concert, comedy show, etc. They offer a variety of events, which range in price depending on that it is. Theres something for everyone at some point on their calendar, including children!

Took my wife to see Wizard of Oz. We had a great time. The renovations were great. Only drawback was they should offer more animated shirts as souvenirs and the price of the shirts should be about $15. Just my opinion but if you lower the price the volume sales would increase and your brand would be out there in a more copious fashion.

It is a wonderful theater that has been beautifully restored. I believe there is truly no bad seat in the house. The professional staff and the volunteer staff set this place apart from every other venue I have attended with the possible exception of the old Sydney Opera House its newer replacement Sydney Opera House.
