Rocky Mountain Park

Such a beautiful place all lit up at night with the Christmas tree installed!

The trails are nice and cleared for easy walking. Theres parts of the trail that go near homes. Theres an old power line(cool but still not that cool to see.) Park has great views and stunning scenery. Theres is some trash around the tower and the ledges with the views. It does take a little away from the beauty of the park.

The day I went here was a nice day, there was a lot of people here however and there were a lot of bugs. Still a really cool place but definitely try to go at an off time.

Just WOW! Not many towns can boast a beautiful spot like this to take in the panoramic views of the whole town and surrounding wilderness. Definitely a great spot to visit each season to take it all in!

Its really nice to walk up and then see all of the town, its super peaceful and beautiful. And down below is a park with a hige field and a huge place to sled I would suggest going there

Lived in Greenfield for 18yrs and never heard it called Rocky Mountain Park but it definitely fits haha

A very easily accessible place for short hiking and cross country running year round. You will get a nice view of Greenfield once you reach the iconic Poet Seat tower. A locals favorite for watching the sun go down.

Catch the sunrise or sunset

Poets seat tower the highest spot in town. Located in Rocky Mt. Park can be seen from much of town, looking east. Offers a nice view of Greenfield. Beacon Field and Baystate Franklin Hospital directly bellow. A romantic place to stop. A few benches and rest areas to spend a few moments, and of course the three storie tower with circular stair case is a thrill for children.

I grew up going up there and sachems head area as a kid. Its a nice place to hike and relax and the views are great from poets seat tower.

It is really nice to run from the town center through Highland Park to the Poets Tower. Nice climb with good variety of options for trails and roads to choose and very nice views.

Im from Ohio, but when I come into town to see my in-laws I make sure to go here. Its so relaxing and quiet with breath taking views.

As a photographer I love this place. Its perfect for portrait photography. I definitely recommend for yearbook photos.

This is easily one of my favorite places in Greenfield. If you are looking for a simple and peaceful walk in the woods, this is definitely the place to go. The trails are simple and easy to fallow. Definitely a great place to bring the energetic children. Plus not a whole lot of people go here at once. You will also get to look out over the city of Greenfield and take in some vary special views. I highly recommend this place.

I wouldnt necessarily call this place a park as much as its a road with some benches around. Come for the tower and the walking paths. Youll have a good view of Greenfield and the mountains out in the distance. Parking next to the tower is low but you can park in other spots. Definitely worth it for the walking trails alone but also for the tower view and the comfortable seating.

Scenic area for beautiful views of the Greenfield valley. Can be very peaceful. There are trails from a small parking spot (2-3 cars) or the north side.
