Love the rooms! Love the building! The staff members are amazing, helpful, kind, and patient with guests. They really help draw you into the story behind the room that youre about to attempt.

The staff are extremely fun, the rooms are intricate and exciting. The puzzles are very satisfying. We have done a number of these challenges with a group of friends and cant stop now.

It was fun. This was my first time using the place. I wasnt expecting much. But the staff was friendly and we really enjoyed the Sherlock room. Most of us we first timers and we had a good time. We plan to go again.

Amazing experience, the lady running the rooms was great and made the experience even better by being creative and keeping things interesting. Will be going back for sure. Feels even better knowing they are also sanitizing after each group that goes through a room and requiring masks as well. 6/5 If I could

Played Insert Coins and Wonderland (cause I couldn’t just do one!).... probably a year ago. Still one of the more memorable escapes I’ve played. Great balance of puzzles. Game master was spot on. Owners had a great story too about their business.If you like supporting local and trying new things, this would be a place worth your time and dollar bills.

Friendly staff, challenging puzzles but not too challenging.One time we were the last group for the night and (at our request) the attendant showed us some of the clues that would have been provided if we had gotten stuck on the puzzle. The clues appeared to be well thought out with several amounts of helpfulness depending on how much help you needed/wanted.They also had a mechanic where there were two riddles you (as a group) could attempt to solve for extra time in the room or an extra hint which I thought was a neat mechanic. It kept the group occupied while we waited for everyone to arrive/use the bathroom prior to entering.

Let me tell you that this place is amazing for any escape room enthusiasts. Always exciting and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a fun time. All rooms are very well thought out. I proposed to my fiance in the black hat room and the staff was very excited about helping with it. Check this place out!!

Did the Insert Coin room. The blacklight flash lights were a nuisance, some of the clues needed a regular flashlight, we couldnt see, too hard to see some of the items. Also, some of the clues didnt make sense, even after they were explained. We were the only family in the building and were asked if we wanted a picture at end, but with masks on. No thanks.

We have only done one room so fast, but it was fun! Had power issues earlier in the night so the final puzzle in our room didnt work, which was a little disappointing, but no fault of their item. Fun games to keep you entertained in the lobby while you wait. Friendly staff. Will be back!

My boyfriend and I have completed over 12 escape rooms together throughout the state of Wisconsin, and Encrypted Escape is by far our absolute favorite! Second Star is our favorite escape room EVER. We cannot say enough great things about this business. The staff is so kind, knowledgeable, and have a great sense of humor. They were as excited for us to try their rooms as we were. It was clear that they love their job and take it seriously. The Second Star room set design is BEAUTIFUL. The detail and care that went into every piece was incredible. We liked it so much that in the same night (after we escaped Second Star) we did another room right away! We went into Wonderland next, and again, we were blown away by the quality and theme immersion. Bonus! They had riddles for us to solve before going into the room that earned us one extra clue or 2 added minutes! Loved that! Outstanding job, Encrypted Escape team. We cannot wait to come back, and continue escaping for years to come! Other escape rooms should take note

Had fun. Puzzles are great, rooms are great. Had to catch myself from the 80s arcade... spent more time on that than the room... which is a plus. The cthulu room was my favorite. Had the feel of H.P. Lovecraft setting.

We loved our time at Encrypted Escape! The staff were friendly and easy to chat with. They went made our friends feel celebrated for their birthdays. The room was so fun to explore - and surprising! The puzzles were engaging and unique! Can’t wait to go back and try another room!

Weve been to Encrypted Escape twice and both times have been amazing. We failed to escape the first time we were there, but still had a great time. We got out of second room with a few minutes to spare! The staff is fun and friendly. The two rooms weve been in were amazingly well built and looked great. This is definitely one of our favorite things to do in the area. I cant wait to go back!

My wife and I are some what escape room junkies. So we tried out Black Hat and had our minds blown. BEST ESCAPE ROOM ON THE PLANET. We’ve been to many other escape rooms in Wisconsin and this was by far the most original and most fun.

My group played Insert Coin and it was super fun!!! Our Game Master Raiden was awesome! I would highly recommend!!!!!

Very fun! We went as a work ( Christmas in February) party, so split into 3 groups and did different rooms. All 3 groups made it out in time!! (Oak View Veterinary Hospital staff rocks! ). Would definitely do it again!

The first time we went to the Encrypted we didnt know what to expect. Alice and wonderland was lots of fun. Although me and my group did not make it out it was exciting. I loved the art and how well the theme was put together. Grate quality!! Cant wait to do the others! I highly suggest others to try this out! Its something fun to do in the area. Lots of fun rooms to challenge your way of thinking.

We have been to a few escape rooms and this was by far the best one we have been too. The amount of details from the props to the puzzles was absolutely amaziing!!! We were blown away and surprissed at every turn as new adventures opened up to us. We did the Alice in wonderland room. The staff was very patient to our questions and even showed us other rooms so we could plan our next trip. Thank you so much for taking time with us after we finished so we could plan our next adventure with you!!

This place was amazing. The owners went all-out creating these puzzles, and they are incredibly challenging. Insanely fun, very difficult, and extremely unique. They have 4+ puzzle rooms, and they are expanding to have more as well. The puzzles are well-thought-out, and have different themes that challenge different types of minds. I cant recommend this place enough, and I will be going back to try the other rooms!

Have played other escape rooms in Wisconsin, but I have played all of the rooms at The Encrypted Escape. They are hands down the best escape rooms I have played. The rooms are both immersive and realistic. Not to mention the enticing puzzles and fantastic affects that go along with the rooms.Wonderland is a great family room, perfect for children. Its creative and outside of the box, really makes you unleash the madness of wonderland. It truly feels like you are journeying down the rabbit hole!Black hat is a fun room to do with friends and family! A saloon heist like youve never seen. The room looks like youre back in the wild west. The coolest part about this room is youre in the dark with just lanterns. A very cool affect to the game that I enjoyed!221B is a fun room for any mystery solvers! The puzzles in this room are some of the best puzzles I have played and they are fun. You feel like you are the detective!The Call is fun for everyone... Its for a great creepy feel to the room. The mystery behind this room really makes you get into it. There is always something to do in this room. And again the puzzles where fantastic. They really make you think and we all had a fun time!We cant wait to return to play there new and upcoming rooms. Hands down the best escape room in Wisconsin!!!!

We just went for my sons birthday. 221-B and Chloe was our host. She was awesome and really kept things moving along. The content was so well thought out. It was more challenging and engaging than other escape rooms Ive been to. It is well worth it. We will be back!!!

This was my 3rd breakout experience. Went with friends and family including my 8 year old daughter. It’s was a great time. You could tell the owners put a TON of time into making the rooms hard but manageable. Looking forward to going back with my family to check out the other options.

There are so many great things to stay about The Encrypted Escape, Im not sure where to start! This was my first escape room experience and this place is AMAZING! Had such a great time! I brought my sister here for a mini bachelorette party along with her friends and bridal party and everyone had such a great time. It was an awesome ice-breaker for everyone and really set the tone for the rest of her wedding weekend. We were able to call ahead and request a private event so it would just be our group and Lindsey was so helpful in setting everything up for us. The staff even went above and beyond and hid a congrats on your upcoming wedding card in our room for my sister. Asia was our Game Master and she was so great! Asia was super friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions before hand. We were all a little nervous since this was our first escape room experience and Asia help put us at ease and was great at guiding us along the way. Even though our team didnt escape, we had such a wonderful time and our experience came up in conversation all weekend. I cant WAIT to go back and highly recommend!

Our family had a good time in Room 221B tonight! But be forewarned that this particular room is great for critical thinkers (i.e.: left brain dominant people). According to our guide, some of the other rooms are more for right brainers, which our family is dominant in. :)

A great place to go for escape rooms. The owners seem very enthusiastic and were proud to give us a sneak peek of their other rooms. Some of the puzzles were less interesting than others, and I think they could probably cut some of the weaker puzzles. Overall though, the room was still very fun and Id rather have too much to do rather than feeling like there wasnt enough.

Had a great time here. We did the Sherlock Holmes room. Was well done and the girl working did a great job. Look forward to coming back.

What a BLAST ! ...yet a little pricey...:( We had an absolute blast, trying to figure out the clues and escape the room. We chalked it up to, a great time failing....hahaha. Its $30.00 per person, if it was cheaper, we would probably make this an event that we keep bringing more and more friends back too....

This was our familys first escape room experience and it was awesome! We had Cole for a host and he did excellent. Very enthusiastic and informative. We did the Sherlock Holmes room which was fun and intriguing even though we didnt quite crack it we came very close! Highly recommend!

This place is such a blast!! We may not have escaped, but we had a great experience. From the staff who puts tons of detail into each room to make them look beautiful to the well thought out puzzles. Our game master Cole was great as well. We will definitely be back again.

These are the best escape rooms Ive been to, experiencing several in various cities in Wisconsin and out of state. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in personally designing and building each room and you can see the love they put into them, and the joy they have sharing them with each and every person that plays. I cant wait to see what they come up with next! You should definitely plan a visit.

I brought several out-of-state friends here and we did the Wonderland room--- it was a complete blast!! Even though we didnt quite make it out in our allotted hour, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Just want to say thanks to the staff who did an amazing job.

This was a great way to reunite with relatives! The rooms were all very unique and just the right level of challenge. The staff were enthusiastic and fun. Pro tip: dont talk about the rooms once you get out so you dont spoil it.

The Encrypted Escape is definitely a place that I would recommend! Ive gotten the chance to do all three rooms that they have currently and I have not been disappointed at all! The rooms are incredible and so unique and realistic! The people and the atmosphere are incredible as well! 100/10!!

The staff here really gets into it, playing Audio clips, Dressing up, it was a blast! We escaped Wonderland in near-record time, so Ares took us around and showed us the other rooms, They look fun! Will definitely be back to escape them, too!

The Encrypted Escape, is the best escape room place in the area. The owners and staff are so kind, and they go above and beyond to make sure that you have a good time. In addition, the owners put so much hard work into their rooms, they built the place up from the bottom. Their rooms are so immersive, and not one detail is missed. Each one of their rooms also has a story to go along with it, which is really cool because it makes the experience so much more immersive. Also, their rooms are all multi-chambered, so theres plenty of room to work and solve the puzzles. I have done all of their rooms here, and they just dont disappoint. I would definitely recommend trying their rooms for a truly fantastic experience!

Great set of escape rooms--a nice feature is most have multiple rooms to them, so the escape is more complex.

I highly recommend it! The puzzles are engaging and well-fitted into the stotylines. Sherlock fans would love 221 B, and Wonderland has imaginative mysteries suited for Lewis Carrols world. Lovecraft-based The Call might be my favorite room, recommended for ant Cthulu lover. An easy way to pass the hour on a double date, with a board game group, or even with coworkers--I can imagine it being a unique way for a team learn to collaborate.

Rude employees, couldnt be bothered to seem like they enjoy the job. Games are not good.

Went with my two daughters to do Wonderland. we had a blast! Even though we did not solve the room, it was still fun. They are still talking about it and clamoring to go again! Staff was wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Brought my family of four and had a blast! Figured it would fun but we had an AMAZING time - owners were super friendly & accommodating - the room (we did the old west) was super real - we completely got immersed in the whole experience and theme - didnt really know if my youngest (6) would be able to do much, but I think he found the most clues - we will be back for sure and highly recommend them if you want to escape from the normal everyday family entertainment

It was alot of fun! The puzzles were tricky and they really make you think, I absolutely loved it. I, myself, was new to the whole escape room thing but the Alice in wonderland room was a great way to get started! So even if ur a newbie like me or are an escape room vet, i highly recommend everyone to go to the Encrypted Escape, i know i myself cant wait to go back!^^

My very first escape room, and the bar was set nice and high. The Call (of you-know-who-lu) has it all, clever puzzles, engaging thematic elements, a good amount of fluff and a satisfying crunch as well.

A little different than other escape rooms we have visited. There were multiple rooms involved and made for a very fun experience.

Loads of fun doing 221 b we kept getting ahead of ourselves but were finally able to complete it.

Had a really fun time playing 221B escape room. The Sherlock theme was amazing and really got you thinking.

Just completed the Alice in wonderland escape room. Enjoyed it immensely, the puzzles were delicately crafted to provide a challenge that all eight of us could be continually thinking!

Devious contrivances that will harrow the mind. Relied on locks and deducing combinations a lil much. Still fun and the creators have admirable aspirations.

This was a great team building experience for myself and my co workers

I had an amzing time in the wonderland escape. We made it out with only 45 seconds to spare! What a rush! You could tell the time and thought that went into the room. I honestly didnt know what to expect since this was my first escape room but the puzzles were insane!

Took my 9 & 11 yr old daughters for my birthday & had an absolute blast with the Alice in Wonderland themed room. It was a ton of fun &the staff was extremely pleasant!
