I grew up going to this park. Perfect for walking, riding bikes or just a day out for a picnic. I played softball there for years as well did my son. They hold numerous events over the year.

Lots of wildlife that has not been mistreated Squirrels and birds very sociable

It was very hot, but it was my first time playing this course, holes were clearly marked and the layout wast designed for lefties, long flat course, birdies and pars are for tue taking!! Thank you Great Bend!!!

Nice peaceful place for lunch

This is a great area in Great Bend for recreation. It has a little lake (obviously), fishing, outdoor workout equipment, playground equipment, a walking trail, decent restrooms, and a dog park. Not to mention it is home to extensive Christmas light displays in the winter. And the lake has swans, which is cool. Its a nice place to take a break and enjoy a bit of nature.

Great views at this park. Dog park with fully closed fencing, walking path, picnic benches, playground area. Wonderful place to bring the family.

The park was nice however the kid zone for the end of summer party could have a little more entertaining stuff for the little ones. Maybe a petting zoo or/and pony rides. Maybe a tractor ride? Just a thought.

Nice place. Best part is there a little of everything peace and quiet,toilets,fishing,picnic,play grounds are clean and up to date. Loved it. Could use more shaded areas though.

Caught my first ever BlueCatfish. We may have them in California....but ive never seen one til now. The park is beautiful. Just remember to roll out before midnight!

Great public park and has a good walking path for exercise.

The fields were well maintained and a nice atmosphere. It would be nice if handicap who stay in theyre car could park much closer when ther are soccer games going on.

Very nice park honoring our Veterans. 9/10 mile concrete walking path around. Nice picnic shelters, childrens play equipment, exercise equipment, and fenced dog park.Sand volleyball court, frisbee course, tennis courts, and lighted softball/baseball fields.Sandpit with stocked fish. Sometimes closed due to blue/green algie.Part of Great Bends Free Lighted Christmas Display.

Everytime i come to the dog park, some thing bad happens.Usually, its just the rude people, but sometimes its worse.Today my dog and i were attacked by a pit bull.I am NEVER Coming here again, and people if your dog is attacking, DO something.Dont just STAND there and call.He isnt LISTENING to you.Why didnt someone help us ?Couldnt one of you have stopped?

Vets Park is a nice relaxing place to walk, exercise, fish, or play with your children. Lots of nice features for anyone, and theyre always making improvements to the park. There are paved walking trails, a dog park, and a frisbee golf course in addition to other features.

This park is big with many activities to do. Besides family picnics and playground equipment for the kids, you can fish, jog on the many running paths, and even workout on the equipment around the park. There is even a sizable dog park as well.
