I donated several waterfowl mounts. The staff was very appreciative of my donation. I sure they will go to good use toward educational material.
Very educational and it was very nice to learn about something I drive by often. The staff was friendly and happy to entertain every question we had no matter how silly. This isnt really hidden but it is definitely a gem. You will leave educated and with sence of awe. If your even a little bit of a nature lover this is a must see!
Mandy Kern was very informative. Knowledge of her topics and her presentation was informative.
Great place to visit. Would highly recommend!
Weve passed this place several times before and finally had a chance to visit in the last few days. The most impressive thing that stood out was the quality and condition of the exhibits. All of them were in working order and while they were well used, the didnt look in a state of extreme disrepair. The staff was courteous and the information was very thorough. We were on a road trip so we didnt have time to explore the walking trails but it will be a future destination for us. Whether youre passing through or making a direct trip here, its well worth the time and money! It was a very neat experience to be visiting a wildlife refuge that is only one of 24 sites in the United States to be recognized on the international scale.
Wonderful staff always ready to help, really beautiful place, and has gemstomes and brochures!!!! My family and I always stop here coming back from a lake!!!
Always a fun and informative experience.
The education center has excellent exhibits on the history of the area and the wetlands, as well as a few native animals on display. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful and made our experience more fun! The outlook pavilion provides a really nice overview and the nature trail is a nice little walk. We saw some frogs and snakes and the kids had a great time!
A really beautiful representation of the wildlife in the area.
You learn about animals
Great setup and staff
