This is freyjas review of the dog park. Wow. So busy. Lots and lots of big dogs. Big section is actually bigger than the little dog section. The greatest thing my owner liked was the wood chip area which should minimize muddy experiences. Personally, lack of mud is NOT a selling point. There are trees and benches, so my lazy owner can rest in the shade. No roofed over area. Normally, there is water available but many good Samaritans brought water that I could share. Lots of friendly dogs and particularly loved Luna who wrassled with me. There are poop bags.
Very nice park activities like a maniac, you just need to be active! They have a sidewalk wide enough to put two wheel chairs side by side. Its a long trail thats a good view of the river! The park has a place to park, a frisbee golf course, enclosed bathrooms, volleyball, horse shoe rinks, fully enclosed gated area for large dogs a separate area for small dogs, a playground for kids with swings and drinking fountains! A trail going to a golf course!
Big park with multiple frisbee golf courses and a nice sized dog park. The Red River Walk runs through the park as well
Lincoln Park is a nice clean family-friendly Park near the river.
Big, nice, expansive park by the river in GF. Places to bbq, covered tables for rain, plenty of picnic tables, easy to bike to. Good place to social distance while getting some fresh air during Covid.
Love the dog park! Also the frolf course and playground area for children is nice.
Amazing frisbee golf course, make sure you bring bugspray though!
Fun family park, fishing, Frisbee golf and dog park.
Very clean. My kids had fun on the playground and exploring the rest of the park.
Had a beautiful day...2-5pm open house for Ben & Kim...congratulations & may you have many years together...+Wasps were crazy, but theyre out in full force until freeze up, good food & family...+
Great park to do everything. Love the park
Calm and peaceful. I just love to come and bring the kids
My dog loves this park :)
Beautiful park with great trails.
Went for a drive in the ranger down to Lincoln Park, lots of people in the park today. Checked out our old neighborhood, where our house used to be, and then parked and walked over by where Grandma Helens house used to be. Sure do miss that area and living down there.
Played frisbee golf with my kids. Course was clean and mud free. Kids had a blast.
Its beautiful in summer. Lots of activities to do.
Nice park. Great restroom facilities. Awesome dog park. (Wish there was a way to make the dog owners pick up after their dogs!)
Great place for young kids to go sledding in winter. Warming house staffed. Ice skates, (hockey or figure) available to borrow. Cross country skies boots and poles available to borrow. Groomed trails nearby.
Dogpark is amazing. Best so far.
Love to take my dog here for a walk or the dog park. My kids love the small play area and sledding in the winter. Nice quiet park.Would honestly love to see more activities out here for the kids during the summer!
Nice place very beautiful
Great park in the heart of the city. Trails, equipment, year round activites. Located on the greenway making access a breeze!
Great place to walk and exercise
All in all a nice place to go for a walk and great for kids. Just sometimes towards a later evening some shady folks can be around so keep your eyes open if planning to go in the late evening
Great park that includes frisbee golf, ample grills and seating areas, and great wide-open grass areas. Includes river access and what looks to be a semi-improved boat ramp. It is also kept clean and provides access to a number of hiking and biking trails.
Very nice park. Grand Forks parks department does a great job of maintaining. Love the green space.
Lots to do here from fishing to frolf!
I play frolf, the course is beautiful! Big trees and a dog park on the north end!
Another very relaxing afternoon at this park... the playground equipment is a hit for our youngest and the bike trails and disk golf is something we all enjoy... well maintained and clean restrooms
So beautiful!! What a wonderful place to visit and relax. Its quiet and full of so many green trees. Also very clean.
I loved this place, because at that moment, there was, and always has been an interconnectedness between all things. Its these moments that make life worth living. People go through their whole lives and never get this. Why God chose to keep me alive long enough to see this, I do not know. What I do know is that life is beautiful. Its Mothers Day. I love my Mom. Last year on Mothers Day I lived in human filth and chaos. TODAY I WALK THIS EARTH A FREE MAN (aside from a few outside issues, but Im not going to get obsessive about it). THANK YOU FATHER GOD.
Beautiful for walking around or going frolfing. The dog park is nice but not many owners watch their dogs close enough for my liking. The park is decent size and fun for all ages
Nice place in the winter and summer to be at with kids pets and other people
Nice park for a picnic
I think this is a pretty area. Really the prettiest area youll get in Grand Forks. But theres a park for kids and dog parks and theres also bike paths.
Gorgeous, nice playground
Great spot for disk golf!
Good by Grand Forks stabdards. Lots to do. Not very pretty but ya know... Grand Forks
Drove thru noting the different types of coniferous and deciduous trees. Nice selection but more leaves would improve the experience.
Great park. Enjoyed the disc golf course here. Clean and green.
Nice starting and ending path along the Greenway for running, biking, blading. Mix it up and go north one week, south the next. The markers every quarter mile are a good indicator of your progress for training.
Great frolf course. Abundant picnic tables. Decent sized playground, little and big kids. Nice views over the river and dog park area. Boat ramp and walking trails are enjoyable. Plenty of Pokestops and gyms!
Beautiful public park with restroom facilities and shelters for bbqs and gatherings. It has parking lots as well as street parking. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash
Great place for a bike ride, to bring your fur babies and even the kids!!
Very nice park. Very clean and well maintained. Playground is great for kids.
Amazing park! Good geocaching. If youre in the area, worth a relaxing stop.
One of the better parks in town. Kept very clean with several, rentable pavilions and stationary grills. The Frolf course is fun but can get a bit crowded with the college groups.
Theres a fantastic dog park right there that my dog and I absolutely love.
Good service. Good food. Nice neighborhood establishment.
Nice, even better when the snow is gone. Lot of people using the dog park. The dog park was a smart move.
We came to the park and took our two small dogs. We had a great time. I liked how you could keep the smaller dogs separately from the big ones. It was a great experience and we would definitely come back
Hadnt been to Lincoln Park in 30 years. Was really impressed with the pavilions.
A wonderful place to frolf, play sand volleyball, or picnic. Nice playground as well!
Had a great time bbq-ing. It was my first time playing frisbee golf and I had so much fun.
BEWARE!!! On our visit to the dog park, we noticed a very small ratio of owners to dogs and discovered many owners were letting their dogs out in the park and then returning to their cars. One guy coming to pick up his dog said they left their dogs at the park while they went to see a movie!!!Anyway, the park looked beautiful overall but the dog park is this tiny fenced off area, the size of a large backyard, and packed with dogs. No one has control of their dogs so they’re all barking at the gate as you enter. No trail and just a few trees. Plenty of open space they could have extend out into, not sure why they didn’t.
Love the park there its so nice and easy to watch all my kids
We went to check out the lights last week! Awesome displays! The finale was too cute
They have a little bit of everything. A playground and great picnic area. You can also hangout at the dog park or frolf.
Its s beautiful park! Great place to relax and chill. So amazing trees and I went during summer and it was so cool to look everywhere! Greenish!
Volleyball, etc. The smells of the trees and flowers here is amazing! And nice spots right by the lake to picnic, can be romantic, can be fun for families and large groups, overall a super cool relaxing spot away from all the traffic. In evenings less people here. Do the river walk, real romantic hearing the water and watching birds and squirrels.
Great place to go play Frolf. Well maintained park. Lots of places to shore fish too. The dike makes a good sledding hill in the winter.
The dog park at Lincoln park is still open and for being winter its a pretty busy park still
Great frisbee golf course, play area for children was well maintained.
Love the way there park district fixed the dog park
Very pretty park. I remember when a lot of it was a neighborhood, before the flood of 97.
Very clean park. The dog park is free and well kept and people are friendly. Two 18 hole frisbee golf courses. Awesome place to go hang out with friends.
There was a warming house that was nice and hot you could Barrow skates and skis and snowboards there was a person there who could help you if you needed help she had a nice dog
Fun place to spend with family and friends
Like the doggo park
Lovely park with an interesting history!
Great frolf couse
Great frolf course and dog park!
A good place to unwind. Has a dog run, a kids playground, that is well maintained. Picnic pavilions, Bathrooms, trails, perimeter drive. If your quite, you can see rabbits, chipmunks, squirrels, many types of birds and whitetail deer.
Its a nice good and clean and safe park
Nice to see history being preserved for future generations to read about. Excellently planned.
My dog loves the park
Amazing place to go in Grand Forks, it has two courses, I prefer the professional one because it looks nicer and gives more of a challenge and if you have nothing better to do you might as well just throw a disc at a hole that is made out of chains and a basket, it tends to be quite fun and is a place I frequently visit, almost daily.
Something for everyone. Playground, disc golf courses, two dog parks, bike paths, boat launch, horse shoe pits, volleyball and plenty of open space. Winter: ice ring, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and disc golf. Their are multiple pinic areas that can be reserved and a rental meeting hall for parties that doublies has a warming hall in winter
Great dog park
A nice park with plenty of parking, a kids play ground, pavilions and dog park. A great place to park and access the greenway.
Very nice family park with convenient rest room, covered shelters, dog parks and play areas. Lots of shade and benches to sit an people watch.
Not enough holiday decorations
Fun with kids nice warming house in winter to skate or grab some cross country skis and take a little excursion.
Most peaceful place in town.
Its a nice little park with some historic points you can read about.
Great disc golf courses
