The toilet slide is my ultimate favorite slide!! They have areas for everyone!! Bed was so comfy too and blankets so warm! Only negative I have to say is that the hot tub wasnt very hot at all, not much warmer, if at all, then the lazy river! : (They have a splash pad area with kid slides, toddler area with toddler slides and baby bouncer/jumpers and teeter totter, lazy river, toilet slide, cold pool with 3 basketball hoops and a football, toilet slide, tubes, hot tub, arcade, restaurants/cafe, ect ect...
Awesome place for the family. Plenty if slides and arcades. Bar near by for adults.
This is a pretty cool indoor water park. There is a small kids area with two slides and various things to play with. The water is only 2ft deep at most. There is a fort area for older kids that is fun. It has two larger slides and various things that pour water from overhead. There is a larger pool with basketball goals. The lazy river isnt too fast and is only 3fr deep. The big slide is is fun and you can ride it on a single tube or a double tube. There are also Cabana areas you can rent that have their own changing area each. During COVID times they only have two family bathrooms open and not the locker rooms. You do not have to wear a mask while in the water or walking around. We spent 5 hours on a Thursday afternoon and it was never busy! The only downside is it is incredibly loud! The water creates a crazy amount of noise and then they try to play music over the top of that. This makes it very difficult to communicate. Plan on leaving with a headache if you stay over 3 hours. But overall this is a good place.
I called day before I came to hotel, they said only restrictions are 50 limit capacity in pool area. I get here and main waterslide is shut down due to covid and only ice machine is at the bar. No reduced rates. Completely unsatisfactory.
Good for younger children, however the arcade was a bit expensive, and the pizza was stale. We enjoyed The warm water in the lazy river and toilet slide was comfortable.
I love the fact that it has a little bit of everything for the kids to enjoy with the pool in the slides and the splash pads along with the gaming and food area but then also the options of cabanas for privacy and parties. for people who dont enjoy being in the pool with the warm wet feeling there is tables and stuff set up outside in the hallway with viewing through large Windows which makes it great to be able to keep an eye on the kids but not have to be in the pool area. One drawback is the price which is about $23 a person.
Kids love this place you got stuff for all ages. Pool splash areas kiddie spots slide the arcade cabanas birthday packages the hotel bar and cafe. All in one spot. And even viewing from outside the pool area if dont like the mugginess and noise.
We stayed at Canad Inns for 2 nights. The waterpark was amazing for our family (kids aged 4-9). There was lots to do for everyone, the water was warm and the line ups were short. The toilet bowl slide was a highlight for both the adults and the kids. We will be coming back.
I liked it! The Staff and the Lifeguards were some of the best Ive ever seen! Not the biggest water park Ive ever seen but for North Dakota standards its not bad! Its 4 Stars because this place isnt the safest the handle bar to the green slide is made out of Metal and not plastic so my younger brother hit his head on that really hard! Also the steps out of the lazy river have slippery tile on the edge of the steps and I slipped on the and rubbed my knee really hard on the concrete and now its all red.
Great experience, definitely go here.Had a birthday party here. The food was decent for a water park. Life guards were attentive. Staff was caring and considerate. Pretty much overall a great place to go if you wanted to visit a water park.Better than thief river falls for sure.Moderately crowded on a Friday in Winter. Not super expensive unless you want an actual meal that’s not pizza.
Very nice waterpark. Lots of things to do. Friendly staff and is pretty clean. My only issue is the lack of air circulation by the lazy river, hot tubs, and slide, which causes a build up of chloramines. Which causes consistent coughing and is not friendly to people with asthma. Rather than that, I had wonderful time!
Scouts had a great time and the manager was great to work with. Group rates a n.v d a cabana for the adults. Definitely go again. Thank you! Great treat for the kids after doing a service project.
The waterpark was clean and refreshing, the quick service on food as well. But the more people came into the waterpark the worst the air quality was it was extremely hard to breathe the chlorine smell was very heavy.
My son had a wonderful time here. Water slides for all ages, hot tub, splash park for the little ones and older kids, both have appropriate sized slides, there us a pool with basketball hoops, and last but not least there is a huge slide where you ride tubes down it. Id recommend bringing your own towels, they tend to run out when it gets busy.
Enjoyed the big slide however the chlorine was too much. My eyes got irrirated so much for the first time.. good thing they have some eye drops available although still hoping they have better control on the chemicals.
It can be a bit pricey for a party and if you have a party it can get very humid in the Cabana. But, if you can get a coupon book that the local schools sell for a fundraiser ($20) they have buy one get one free admissions. It’s big and lots of fun, plus the arcade and pizza place connected to it is a lot of fun. I’ve had my son’s birthday party here for the last 3 years.
Not as great as we thought it would be. The floors are slippery and I saw several kids slip, when walking, including my own. The floors look like it has black mold all over in the caulking. Gross. Family bathrooms has a shower but no where to set your set or get a kiddo dresses. Way over priced. And way too much chlorine. Our eyes were burning right away and I’m sure they will hurt all night now.
Closed until the 13th of September for maintenance! Would have been nice to note this on website, so we wouldn’t have traveled 100 miles and then disappointed kids! Website says open!
Very good for family experience specially when you have small kids. Arcade beside the pool is also great.
My chikdren had a blast for my 1 yr old bday party a lil expensive tho
This is a dream of a place if you are any age. But if you are a kid, then its heaven. Well done, clean, I did not see anything but good working equipment.
Fun place!
Weve been here several times and it never disappoints. Fun for young and older kids; even mom and dad. Arcade is fun and pizza is delicious.
We have ordered a Birthday party at Splasher (the water park at the hotel). Not only we received dry and half cold pizzas, in addition we ordered veggie tray (see the picture below) which clearly is not even half full. The staff didnt supply any napkins, cups, plates or soda, which were included in price. When we complained at the hotel, we were addressed to write an email, and now I understand why. None of the management has returned an email back for two weeks already. The bottom line is that the whole day was full of disappointment and following the disrespectful and demeaning treatment to the customers, I would not come back to that hotel.
Had a birthday party there everyone so nice helpful
Kids having fun! Good service
Was pretty good but water is a little too hot or too cold sometimes
SPLASHES IS REALLY FUN AND AMAZING TO HANG OUT WITH FRIENDS AND EASY TO WEAR DOWN THE KIDS AND BABIES. FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE SLASHERS A 1 STAR IS WRONG BECAUSE THAT WATER PARK IS REALLY AMAZING GO GO (NORTH DAKOTA,GRAND FORKS)
Was there for Fathers Day and it was a wonderful stay. The staff are amazing & very friendly. Jade was the one who checked me in and she was amazing! The Under the sea theme room was nice. My daughters really enjoyed the room. The bunk beds are really nice.
Paid $10 for “4” piece chicken strips. Tasted stale and even had the old look (freezer burn) to them. Two of the four pieces were the size of my fingers. Brought back and said I wasn’t happy with the price vs quantity/quality. Told them I would like a refund if that is the amount of food and quality a ten dollar four piece chicken strip costs. They said “sorry, we don’t do refunds, we’re a restaurant”. I said, “really, that’s it?”. I then asked if I could get the pitcher of water and cups. I didn’t remind them of the fries I had ordered which apparently was another $3. Terrible overpriced food and rude servers. Server asked for a tip before food. Unfortunately I had given a $2 tip that I regretted, especially since I had to walk back up for our drinks and cups. Wish I could post my photo of the most sad looking chicken strip “basket” I’ve seen.
This was our second visit to water park. Very poor customer service at the Barrier Reef. Lacks professionalism and lacks a personable friendly appearance/approach with their customers. We did not purchase food from the establishment the second visit due to the poor unapproachable demeanor of counter staff.
I love it but I gave you 4 star and need put lever or wheel handle and put rope on and do everything that before like new then Ill rate full if you do it
They are rude to customers n the service is bad
This is the best family waterpark in a hotel we have ever stayed at! The lazy river is super cool and the toilet bowl slide is awesome!
Kids had a great time but its was not as clean as it could be.
My kids just love it here
This water park is so much fun!
Fun for kids at a kings ransom.
Bought the party package for my daughters birthday, ended up closing the main pool for most of the day due to short staffing had to pick up food our food that was supposed to be delivered to our cabana ourselves. Which food wasnt ready at the scheduled time. Party package said something about a custom banner for guest of honor... was a 8×11 sheet of paper.... for $300 id say save your money... oh and as well they didnt get our food right either... was allowed to pick out of their selection of dippn dots icecream for the mix up. Needless to say there was maybe 3 flavors and all of them were frozen like they had melted previously and refroze in the packet... will not be booking there again... and for $22 a person for this place id except it to be well staffed and maintained... but they ran out of towels well before closing time too...
Great!!! Kids had a blasty blast!
Not very friendly staff behind schedule with everything cleaning was terrible and there is not enough knowledgeable staff there.
Havent had an experience yet. I have been trying to rent a cabana for Saturday all week. 10 phone calls and three messages left. Would be nice to get some customer service. Writing this review in hopes of getting a response. We would love to spend the day there, have a great experience, and change our rating to 5 stars!!
This place is a little bit pricey. We also had trouble getting towels, as they always seemed to be out. The splash area was awesome! A giant bucket of water empties over the entire area periodically. There are two water slides in the splash part that are a lot of fun too. I would say that this area would be best for kids around the age of five and up.The kiddie area has its own shorter slide into a shallow pool of water. There is also a teeter totter in the water. This section of the pool gets deeper as you go on, which is great for the smallest kids. This area would be best for kids who can walk on their own.The hot tub was great. It is huge! Plenty of room for kids and adults at the same time. My kids hung out here to warm up every once in awhile. The giant slide is for older kids and adults. There is a height restriction (42 inches?). The slide feeds into the Lazy River, which flows in a circle. You can float round and round as long as you want.We would definitely come here again!
Held a birthday party here. No one knew we had a reservation, only one staff member that was helpful, the rest were too busy socializing. Had to ask for everything. Food was an hour later than when we asked for it. Kids had a great time but not very well organized or enjoyable for the adults.
Was awesome. We stayed at Baymont accross street alot cheaper then Canada inn
The waterpark and slides were loads of fun. HOWEVER, the locker room was in SERIOUS need of cleaning. It was THE MOST disgusting thing I have EVER had the misfortune of being subjected to. There were towels all over the floor and in every toilet stall. Wet toilet paper all over the floor and also in every stall. Random clothing that people had left sopping wet on the floors. Couldnt rent a locker because they werent working. And every shower stall had hair caked in the drains. ABSOLUTELY NASTY!!!!
This is a really fun place to take the kids too. Young children as well as adults will have fun. There is a nice wading pool area for toddlers as well as a splash pad
Everyone has a splendid time!
Kids love this place
It was wonderful and fun fir all ages.
I love it! the ‘toilet bowl’ slide is super fun and so is everything else. the pizza is also amazing. 5/5 totally recommend
Its a great place for kids but thats all its targeted as, for kids 3-14 yo. Otherwise its a fun little place for a family friendly park!
Space for little kids and big kids. Life guards rotate every 30 mins. Kids loved it
Pretty fun place!
Fun waterpark for the kids, always have a good time here. The changing facilities are small but clean. The line up have never been long for the slide when we are here but getting a double tube can be difficult.Have a family member with diabetes, we always have to take our used sharps with us as the containers have never been accessible when we are there, they are locked on the full position making them unusable.
I have tried for the better part of a week just to get a cabana. I Left several messages for Kaitlin who appears to be management for the park and is responsible for cabana reservations. No returned calls, no answer. Way to make a little girl disappointed and stress out a grand parent Kaitlin you suck at your job.Very disappointed in management and the overall experience.
Splashers is pretty cool it just the motel Canadian inns that should pack up and move along
Great place to spend the day. I just wish there were more life guards at the basketball pool.
Dont hesitate take your kids there. They are little dysfunctional but I didnt mind.
Kids always have a great time!!!
Great indoor water park. Amenities and arcade are clean. Admission can be a bit expensive, but its worth it when you get inside. Really fun place to bring the kids, kind of sad when people drop their kids off and use lifeguards like they are babysitters.
I would give five stars if, when I went there, the hot tub was hot and the main pool was open plus the stairs to the Toilet Slide are notoriously bad and mildewy
Great experience, and arcade/restaurant connected to pool. Had fun on slides and lazy river. Hot tub perfect temp. Pool area has gum everywhere on the floor, so had to watch my step. Also found ants and bandages on the floor. Arcade restaurant is overpriced. Got mini corn dogs, chicken strips, popcorn chicken, two fountain drinks and water bottle for $42 USD at arcade restaurant. Arcade was fun, but could have cheaper fried food.
I am mostly rating the employees with the 3 stars because the actual park itself was a lot of fun! When we walked up to the Garbanzo employees there were 3 of them sitting around having a conversation. When the young girl broke from the conversation she couldnt even bother using actual words to address me. The staff was not knowledgeable about pricing or what they even offer in regards to Cabana rentals. I was so irritated I had to walk away and have my husband finish the interaction. The employees at the CanadInn should just take over for them because they were all much more delightful and knowledgable.
Great time for the family, staff was friendly and the hotel room was lovely.
My family had a great time at splashers. We were there on a Saturday and while there were quite a few people there it did not feel crowded and the kids did not have to wait to go down the water slides. Splashers has a good assortment of different slides to choose from. There are beginner slides all the way through to more advanced slides. I liked the lazy river and just floating down and relaxing. There are tables and chairs set up along the pool areas so you have a place to call your own while at the water park. And if your hungry or thirsty go order a pizza or get a snack at garbonzos pizza and arcade they have many great games to choose from. Over all my family had a great time while at splashers. I did find it a little more expensive than anticipated but we were there for seven hours and we felt we more than got out moneys worth. So if you want a day of fun even in the dead of winter and want something that takes you away from the boring norm try splashers of the seven seas, Im 58 and had a blast. And there are private cabanas with tables, chairs, and changing areas in them for rent for a additional cost these are great for birthday parties. So suit up hang ten and have some new adventures.
Although we did have a blast the lifeguards was rude and acted like they hated their job. The hot tub needs some sort of vent to help with the chlorine smell it was to strong to breath. 3 Stars for wearing the kids out.
The pools and slides are really fun! The arcade could have more fun games to play... but the air hockey is great.
The kids love this place. Lots to do for all ages and the ability to rent a cabana is really helpful when taking large groups.
I wish I could give this place more stars, because the waterpark itself is very fun and well laid out. We try to go at least once or twice a year as a family. If you go in the winter, it is cold and drafty when you are wet and walking from place to place. I have also constantly been let down by the uncleanliness I’ve encountered almost every time we’ve attended. Bandaids, hair, and other gross things are usually almost always somewhere within eye sight. The bathrooms/changing rooms feel like they blast a.c year round, and the showers have mold lining the tile, along with gross shower curtains I have to tuck into another shower to avoid touching. All these factors make it hard to want to go back, but my daughter loves it, and it is the closest waterpark from where we live. Another thing that really bothers me is their policy change this year, where you now have to pay like you are swimming, to even just sit in the waterpark. My boyfriend and Mom don’t swim, and they use to come to just watch my daughter and me, but there is no way we would pay to just sit in the facility. I hope changes are made for the better. It could be a way better place if certain changes were made.
Kids love this place, just wish ticket prices werent so high, we would visit more often.
This is an amazing place for families to enjoy. It offers fun for all ages and offers amazing service.
Fun place for kids and adults. I love the hot tub. The clorine is alot. It burns my eyes and skin
Nice indoor waterpark for the kids. Skip the food.
Got a yearly pass, and now we go every weekend! such an amazing place! I dont eat the food, though because of overpricage
Had a great time here with the family. Kids had lots of fun. Will be back
Its always fun for the kids.
The kids LOVE the river run and the water slides!!!
Took grandchildren and family. They had a great time
Some of the Waterpark is in need or repair. Seems to be way fewer life guards on duty than in the past. Price is fair.
Awesome place! Except for the hot tub, it hurts my eyes with the chemicals.
Was super fun BUT chlorine was very strong in hot tub to the point of our eyes burned and also caused us to cough.
Best outing in a long time!
Very good place to b like this Friday. Yeah!!!!!
Ive walked around inside but didnt swim. Looks like a lot of fun for kids, not so much for teens or adults.
The kids really enjoyed this water park
Worst place ever! Went in and had a birthday party there, quoted one price, charged me two different times while adding themselves a gratuity tip without even notifying anyone of doing so. Didnt see it until I checked my bank account. They tried to charge me three different times each time with a different amount was not happy at all. Overcharged on bracelets that were included in a party pack as well. So much chlorine in the pool area your eyes were burning and nose and throat. Not only were my kids and the kids of the party coughing and puking there were other kids doing so as well. It was horrific. Was not a happy camper with this place. Never ever again will we step foot into a place like that. Family is still ill from there. They need some better airflow going through there or they need to see what is going on with the chlorine in the pool. it was not a fun experience at all. But the worst part of it all is the fact that we were quoted one number but charged a totally different number without our prior approval for any of it. Management will be contacted for this!!!!
Kiddos loved it
Great fun
$$$ for a day stop 8n grand forks
Tons of fun for kids and adults.
Fun and play arcade games
