Loved the experience, there are many trail options according to your hiking abilities. Be wise which path you take. One of them is a tough one. Proper shoes are a must. Great view of the city.

Great hike, it can be steep at a few parts but overall a wonderful hike. Youll be able to see an amazing view of Los Angeles, Glendale and so much more. There are several break spots along the hike and at the bottom is a nice park, grilling area and library.

Hidden gem of a hike behind the suburbs of glendale! free parking near the library. i saw two trailheads, my friend and i took the seven trees one. it is quite steep so beware. wear proper shoes, bring sunscreen, and water for sure! the path is dirt/gravel so can be slippery at times. the views of glendale/burbank are pretty neat! unfortunately, it was quite smoggy today. there are many forks in the road, with not too much signage. my friend and i ended up going higher up the mountain and traversed along the verdugo motorway and the brand motorway, until finally making it back to the parking lot (7 miles). more signs/maps would be helpful... we were scared we got lost a few times! there were not too many people on the trail, which was nice. also water fountains/restrooms would be great additions to the trails!

Personally, after hiking the Henry Cook Lookout Point, I wasn’t too impressed by this Brand trail. Don’t get me wrong- it’s a good trail that has a great view- but the big payoff view takes too long to get to. I was looking for a shorter trail that gave me the exact same thing that this trail did. Would recommend for more avid hikers with a lot of time on your hands.

It is relatively short, but hard enough if you take the left path on the way top. I recommend that you take the left way at the initial point, and take the right path - from the top its the left one - on the way down. Not that impressive, but still wonderful scenic view of downtown LA, Burbank, and Glendale at the same time from the top.

It’s like paradise right in the city. Awesome place to hike. Couple routes easy and hard depends on your skills and goals. Great place. For kids and families too obviously with adults supervision. Don’t forget the water. Wonderful nature.

Good hike but a little steep on the uphill side (going counter clockwise). Not sure it would have been any better as a downhill though.

An Honest Hiking Review:To be quite frank, this was quite a disappointing trail. While it markets itself as family friendly, this is clearly a trail for more avid hikers that takes much time to get to. We rate this trail hard, and we’re quite disappointed.
