I love the upscale theatre atmosphere. Its not recommend if you want to drop in and out for a quick movie, but I love that they have props and backdrop set up for photo ops for various movies. For certain movies, they also have the extended Regal Celebration Pointe 10 & RPX exclusive interviews with directors that give you a bit more depth about the film, so I think its worth the price.

I love the theater here. It was such comfy seating too! Very large with walls and tall ceilings. The hallways is lit up with neon lights.

It was so nice to be able to go out to the movies again for the re-opening this weekend since theaters were forced to close back in March. We went to see the new movie Unhinged (a fantastic thriller of a movie we highly recommend) in the RPX auditorium. The experience was very pleasant and very clean. My group of (4) felt safer there than going out to a grocery store for sure. Great job to the staff of Celebration Pointe for making us feel safe and comfortable to go back to the theater. We will be back again soon and hope that others will too!!

Cinema in any city is considered a tourist destination of the city. My family and I visited it and had a great time.The place is great, clean and disinfected The chairs are comfortable and spacious. Excellent food and drinks price I liked I recommend it

As you can see this is a great place to catch a movie, yes those are reclining chairs! Also had fun in the courtyard playing tag football with the boys and swinging with the breeze. Plenty of food and dessert choice places to eat too!

This theater is always clean - including the bathrooms. Comfy seats, we love being able to select our seats in advance, and staff is polite. Pre-covid was sometimes a little unorganized at the concession bar but now its a breeze. Social distancing is kinda nice at the movies!

Nice atmosphere. We saw a classic movie. The theater was clean. The stagg kind of rushed us at the concession stand, but other than that it was a great experience for my family and I.

This place is amazing! Looks awesome! The entrance is a tad confusing as it doesnt correspond well with the parking lot but thats okay. A way to fix that would be a sign or something as it would be a bit helpful. Usually Id complain about the amount of commercials/ads, but honestly for this specific theater, it needed more (weird I know). Seating is great, sounds definitely there, so dont worry if youre a bit deaf. A few signs here and there would be great for people who arent regulars to this specific movie theater. Staff is great, and its all around amazing! Might want a jacket though in case you get chilly, but dont worry about having to hold much of anything as each seat has a little table on a swivel on the right of their armchair. Although I wish the rumor that the chairs massaged you was true, I kinda knew it was too good to be true. All around its great for a date, for yourself, for family, friends, etc.

The theaters are comfy, the snack&beverage selections are awesome...and pandemic viewing meant the place was desserted so no strangers yapping away or walking in front or kicking the back of the seat.

We bought tickets in advance -- super convenient! Theres a kiosk outside the theater entrance for this purpose. The staff were friendly, the chairs in our auditorium were very comfortable + reclining! And, overall the place was clean and inviting.

These theaters are the best theaters I have ever gone to! I went with my girlfriend to see Captain Marvel for her birthday. We caught a 3:45pm showing and for the two of us it came to $24 for both of our tickets. The main lobby upon entering is large, open, and very clean. The food counter is very well organized and the staff was friendly. In the theater itself you have lots of personal room with leather reclining electric like lazboys with a swinging table attached and drink holder. The film quality was of phenomenal quality and the sound quality is out of this world. When something happens like loud booms, you not only hear it but you feel it. It adds so much to the experience of watching action movies. The overall atmosphere across all levels is very nice and appealing. We will be watching the majority of our movies from here on out.

Gainesville Florida is my home town, I have been to all the theaters that stood from 1955 to present. The Regal at Celebration Pointe is the best Gainesville has ever had. Reclining seats with a swinging serving tray. The only thing I might criticize is that some of the movies seem to be just a little bit to loud. As far as the theater, It is 5 star

Theatre is very nice. Comfy reclining seats and plenty of leg room. Really big screen and great sound, including vibrating seats. Prices are not inexpensive -- 16 for an RPX movie. Im docking a star for the 30 minutes of advertisements and previews -- way too much. The previews I understand, but the ads make it feel cheap and like Im watching tv at home, which I can do for free.

They make watching a first run movie there very enjoyable. Yet their beer is way too ridiculously expensive. Popcorn can be stale. Staff is very nice and friendly and not intimidating. Eat and drink with your date elsewhere before the movie. Showing quality is excellent.

Always an amazing experience. Simple self ticket purchase system. Customer service is good, but nothing special. The theatres are easy to find with accurate instructions given by the ticket checker. Theres a bar, great environment, overpriced food and overall the best theatre in town. Great location as well!

RPX isnt as good as Imax, but the reclining seats were decent.

Beautiful new movie theater with reclining seats in all theaters. The row that you rent the theater on is the handicap row and the access for wheelchairs, scooters, etc is just top notch. Gourmet pizza, tacos, ice cream etc., as well as well as the regular faire you would expect along with beer and wine make this a great place for date night or a family outing. Pricing is fair and if you download the Regal app you can do everything from the phone. Just awesome.

I love going to this theater. We love the recliners. The reserved seating is great. You pick your seating ahead of time so no rush to get there early for good seats. The sound is amazing. The staff are very friendly.

Its Regal! Its RPX! Yes Celebration Pointe is an apt name! Concessions are way beyong just popcorn and candy; for those that need something stronger...well...damn good, strong drinks too! Join their rewards program and the points add up fast, or, get their unlimited pass and see all the movies you want plus discounts on other stuff! It made movie night snazzy again!

I love that theater and they way that its set up. Its huge and it has an area for you to eat & drink your wine. I also love the vibe in that theater as well! Its really big and open. I love that after the movie there are shopping centers, food, live band, and places to explore.

This movie theater Claims to Only show Blockbuster films but in actuality it is an excuse to cover up the fact that they Do Not Support films that surround Minorities. Celebration Pointe Theater did not show films such as Queen and Slim as well as film Just Mercy among others. Films that are critically acclaimed with great reviews. But because they are starring actors or actresses of Color, they are not being shown at this theater. Very Disappointing and will not support their short sightedness.

My wife and I visited for the first time today and really enjoyed this theater. Super clean inside and the reclining seats were incredibly comfortable and the theaters were not too crowded. Having a bar on site is a nice bonus and I am thankful the prices there are reasonable, unlike the outrageous prices at the concession stand (which of course is not limited to this theater).

Ive been 3 times but only cause my husband likes the reclining seats. We pay a lot of money to get in and for a drink and popcorn just to have kids, teens and college KIDS to be constantly talking to each other and texting on their phones, moving those darn reclining seats back and forth, and children kicking the seats. It is always stuffy like the air isnt on. We never get to enjoy a nice movie experience. Not worth paying $50-$100 to be rudely disturbed by considerate people.

I’ve used this theater many times in the past and had an awesome experience. This theater would typically be my first choice. Recently I’ve noticed that the Celebration Pointe theater chooses not to show any movies that touch on racial issues regardless of the positive impact that it could have on sales. Since noticing that they don’t support all communities this theater will no longer be a choice of mine.

Reclining seats for a comfortable watch, had a great time with my beautiful wife. As usual the concession booth was way overpriced, so we settled for a 6.00 soda which had free refills, but who can drink that much soda? Other than that I highly recommend it.

The absolute, no competition, BEST movie theater in Gainesville and one of the best in all of Florida. Clean, well maintained, well staffed, and absolutely massive. Great snacks and it even has a very nice bar. Every theater screen has mechanical reclining leather chairs, absolutely amazing.Being so great and popular means it can get pretty busy here, and the service at the bar and concession stand can slow down as theyre not very big and suited for large crowds.I would also knock some points off the RPX room for the front row being completely unusable at the time of this writing. The screen is so massive and the front row seats are so close that the viewing angle warps your view of the screen. But other than the front row, the RPX is THE way to watch whatever movie you plan on seeing. Just dont get the very front row.

Location is clean and employees are friendly. The only reason they are 1 Star..THEY SWITCHED TO PEPSI!!!! Nobody loves Pepsi the way people love Coke. This theatre has it all except they have the wrong drink (especially for this region).

Love the seating, the movie selection/times, and the bar/food choices. The classic margarita is a bit pricey ($11) but you definitely feel like you get a real drink. Great for kids and adults. RPX screen is mind-blowing! Surrounding restaurants and park area are all kid-friendly and mid-range prices. Expect to spend $80-100 for dinner, movie, drinks, & concessions for you and a date. Overall a great night out.

The cinema itself is fine. However the staff are slow. Passing through airport security is faster. You have to arrive 30 minutes or before just to do the snack bar. No one is in a pace faster than turtle speed. Can’t wait to have the new one in Ocala. Hopefully it will be better.

A four is like my top rates for first time visiting. I really liked the seats and service. Parking is decent.

This place is awesome, brand new, features all of the best things to make an A+ movie theater experience... Except for the website which is frequently screwed up and the staff cant do anythinf about it and dont even know who to call or when it will be fixed.Corporations like Regal get bigger, which often introduces problems that come with that.Theaters are clean and the staff is polite and helpful.

I love the theater and there is plenty of inner things to so while waiting for your show. Picking the seats with the seating chart can be confusing though, I thought I was picking a seat towards the back and it was really a seat almost right in the front... Just an FYI.

My very first visit here at Regal Celebration Pointe. Getting tickets, concessions took no time at all. Customer Service was friendly and fast! Theater temperature, sound volume and seating was perfect. And the seats recline, SWEET!! Plenty of parking but arrive early for a good spot. Parking lot is well lighted.Concession stand prices were steep but thats everywhere you go still an overall great movie going experience.

Love this place. We drive all the way from Lake City to watch a movie. Were doing it twice a month because we enjoy this nice and clean theater with a wonderful staff and treats.

Well I finally got to see a movie at this new theater. The final Star Wars. Of course the movie was spectacular, but I was VERY impressed with the recliner seating. Nice venue for movies!!

Walked in to a matinee just after noon ($40 for a senior, a 4yo, and a vet). The place is quiet and four people are working the snack counter. It took them 10 minutes to finish with a young couple getting two bags of candy, a bag of popcorn, and one drink.After they sauntered about like they’d lost their phone or keys for 6 minutes they finally came back to the counter. They weren’t actually looking for anything.My mom and i tried to order the $7 snack pack and they wanted another $5 for a small cup of water for my 4 yo. Then they didn’t have the candy for the snack pack and wanted $14 for just the super small drink and three handfuls of popcorn. Tried to order the $13 Frozen collectible popcorn and drink; they’re out of those but can do the much smaller popcorn and drink for the same price.Regal should replace this whole crew with a special needs team (I’m heartfelt serious) to improve this sub two-bit operation.I’ll wait until the movie is a classic before coming back to this shanty thieving establishment.

The place itself is nice. However, the theaters arent cleaned well between movies and sometimes I have walked into one of their theaters and it had garbage all around. It was never cleaned before the movie.Also they seem to enjoy having only one person working the register at concessions and having a long line.All while there are employees hanging around talking.

Amazingly comfortable seating. Easy to use automated ticketing. The snack shop and bar are nice and the staff is friendly.

The wrong movie tickets was given to start off when we first arrived. Also due to the fact now that they offer available for a month convenient for people who live in town to come to the movies often hardly any seats was available but over half the theater did not show. So no good seats even though no one comes to it.

The chairs are too comfortable. Hubby falls asleep every time! :) Love this theatre though.

Comfortable. Amazing picture and sound quality. And good customer service. Having a bar inside (albeit an expensive one) is super nice, and the food is decent. Everything is expensive, as you’d expect from a Regal, but the seats recline, are brand-new and mega comfortable. This is my go-to for movies in Gainesville.

Love this location. Comfy seats and lots of viewing options. Only negative was my friends and I went to the late/last showing of The Lion King of the night. Went to concession counter got all our snacks and drinks before the movie. 20 minutes into the movie we went back to the concession area to get another soda. Sadly they had already closed. So if you are seeing the last showing make sure you get everything you will possibly need. Other than that the place if great.

I love this theater. From the RPX screen size to the reclining seats with the tray tables. I havent tried any of the food as yet but will be on my next visit. The theater is usually clean and the staff are always polite. I dont have any negative remarks for this theater and would certainly recommend to any one wanting to see a film here!!!

The most comfortable movie experience Ive had!! Went to the matinee for about $10/person.....not too bad. Ordered a small popcorn and large drink for $14. Thats a little steep for me, but my wife and I were on a date night so we just enjoyed it!! We ordered our tickets at the self serve kiosk which I highly recommend if you want to easily choose your own seats. Seats are assigned to you and you get to choose them on the screen before paying. Very nice theatre, clean seats and clean bathrooms!!

This theater is really nice. The seats recline and you can have more than just popcorn in the theater. They offer a really vast variety of foods and the staff are great. I would advise that you arrive about 45 minutes earlier if it is the weekend and it is a really popular movie as the wait lines can be extensively long. Also, remember that when you get your tickets from here that the seats you are assigned are yours so be sure you pick seats in the section that you really want.

Super great time! Definitely worth the few extra bucks for RPX viewing with recliners and personal tables! We ended up too early for our movie and spent some time in the bar/restaurant. We had a blast with Cassie, the bartender. Cassie is a great bartender, she took care of us splendidly!All the employees seemed very friendly and helpful. I forgot to ask for popcorn salt and asked where to acquire it and the guy just grabbed some for us, so I didnt have to go back through the line!

Great area with well-lit parking. Seats are great recliners with a little table that swivels for your snacks and drink. Never had to wait in a line long since most of the box office was ticket kiosks and the concession stand was well-staffed. We left later at night so I cant say for certain how the traffic is, but seemed alright when we arrived at 8.

Nice and clean. Lots of space. Comfy seats. All in all, a great experience! Definitely suggest this place. Only down side, I suppose could be the signed seating, but its not exactly a bad thing either. Just takes a bit of coordination and timing when wanting to sit with friends.

This theater is so great!! Its clean and well maintained with nice decor. The staff is friendly and helpful. Although people may complain about high food prices, its totally worth it. Great theater, very clean, great seats / they recline, but very loud during the previews. The concessions the food is redicioulus expensive. Bottle of water is over $5. ...pretty much everything is over $5. Candy is $3 or more.

Regal Theater was great. Seats recline and foot rest extends. Every seat has small table attached that swings out of the way. Very clean theater and average pricing for extras. You can order tickets on line ahead of time and print them out at the theater using the barcode they send you. You can also reserve your seating. Great experience here and will definitely be our theater of choice from now on.

This theater is a great place to go watch movies. I highly recommend the RPX seating because the seats recline and are very comfortable. The RPX theater also has better sound and the floors rumble from the bass from movies. RPX does cost more but its worth it for high profile movies.The place as a whole is nice and clean and plenty of space to move around. Overall a nice addition to Gainesvilles lineup of theaters.

The theatre seemed quite new and clean. Seats were comfortable and fully recline as well.If you visit during Christmastime, you can take a brief walk to the huge Christmas tree just outside the entrance!

This is definitely the nicest theater in Gainesville. Regal really stepped up with the food quality and variety. My boys (12 and 7 yo) and I love the RPX theater because the tables are big and the reclining seats are really comfy. Everything is clean and most of the time the food service is pretty quick.

Wow, this is a great theater. The setup of the place is amazing, and the amount of features that this theater has is great. Its very nice to have a bar attached right to the movie theater itself. Many theaters now are going to reclining seating, but this is the first one that Ive seen with the tables at the seats. The RPX theater is also very nice, although a bit pricey. Its nice to see the new movies in the huge screen. Want celebration point is all up and running, this will definitely be one of the center points.

Parking is horrible. If its raining plan to get wet since parking is in the back. Buying tickets on site is difficult since you have to go inside to get them and its right by the concession area. It was hard to tell with all the people around if they were in line for tickets or food. The seats are nice though. I know getting tickets online is convenient but we didnt do it this time. I wont say never but I most likely wont be going back there. The other theaters in town are much more user friendly.

Saw Toy Story 4 it was fun movie. It amazing how much the animation has improved since the first Toy Story. You could see individuals hair strands it looked like. Plot delivery fallowed familiar paths.

Always clean and the staff is good. They have a little bar inside. Tickets are normal priced and the theature is nice.

Starting with buying the tickets online, not having to wait in line to buy a ticket, showing my phone once for all tickets purchased, reserving our super awesome reclining seats to watching dope movies on dang near IMAX screens while the hairs on my neck rise from the vibrations of the sound. Love the new theater! Also, when the movie is over walk across the street there is a really neat glass and gas fireplace

FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! My husband took me to see CATS on my birthday. We havent been to a theater in years. Upon arriving I never expected something so amazing! The place is truly gorgeous inside and out. Plus, it has a full bar! Sure the concession prices are high but that is only because movie theaters DO NOT make that much money on the films. In fact, most lose money on the films. It is just the way of the theater business. So the only way to stay in business is via the concessions. Which are great BUT you really need vegan buttered popcorn. I would have purchased that in a second but only got water due to the lack of vegan options. PLEASE BRING VEGAN OPTIONS TO YOUR THEATER! Not everyone wants to eat garbage which is the type of foods being offered here. It it leaving money on the table. However, when we got into the theater I was blown away! I was not expecting recliners with a side table that lay all the way back. We were in row D and it was perfect. The sound was impeccable and the screen was just wow! I have never had so much fun at a theater before. This place is beyond anything I have ever experienced before. We are planning on purchasing the unlimited plan so we can go all the time to the movies now. I give 4 stars for the lack of vegan options. PS Bring a Blanket! Its a bit chilly but I like it.

I went to Celebration Pointe for the first time Yesterday to see Spiderman and i have to say i am beyond impressed, The staff were so friendly and Reginald showed me how to reduce the price of my food using my points, the theatre and overall ambiance were atheistically pleasing. I also recommend the RPX it made all the difference. A+

Its a good theatre, nothing negative to say about it, but just not my style of theatre I prefer. Parking in two separate lots or adjacent parking garage, big ol comfy seats that recline, a sit-down restaurant inside, and located in a being developed area of Gainesville going for a posh-swanky vibe. Meh.

Nice new theater with reclining seats is wonderful. Located in Celebration Point in the downtown area. Watch a movie and then walk around in the shops is a great way to spend the afternoon or evening. This theater even has a bar.

We had to go out and tell the employee that the movie was on and so were the lights. The lights were then turned off. Everything else was great. Seats, popcorn, soda and pleasant employees made it an enjoyable experience.

Best theater around. Love the reclining seats, and that you can reserve them.

This is a fancy theater with terrible concession service. I love paying $11+ a movie ticket and having to wait in long lines to pay for overpriced popcorn and drinks. Terrible mostly on the concession part. I know most of the theaters are expensive. Seating is comfortable and spacious. Hire a manager to see quicker concession turnover and the theater will bring in more money. Also I heard the bar staff was an issue but not my review to post.

This has become my favorite movie theater in Gainesville.The lobby and concession area are well laid out. There is a convenient dropoff area on both sides if the street. There is plenty of parking close to the building.The theaters have reserved seating, reclining seats, and great sound systems. Every place Ive sat has had a great view.

My first visit to this new theater and it was AMAZING! It is essentially a restaurant/movie theater combo.The seats are too comfortable (stay awake!) and the sound was great!
