A great park hidden away by CMH. Very large, well kept area for large dogs with adequately spaced trash cans and bag holders. Only complaint is the lack of water for dogs, so bring your own dish and a jug, but there is a small playground for the kids, a basketball court, and a nice shaded small dog park as well.

I really love this park. When you pull in you drive a little to get down to the dog park. They have a HUGE dog park one of the largest dog parks I have ever been to. There is plenty of room and grass for all dogs to run around and play. There is a space for the trained show dogs to do the competitions, a little area for small dogs and then a big area that can be split into two areas but is always open. There is one big sidewalk down the middle of the park for people to walk and plenty of seats and tables. I went around 5 o clock and there were a good amount of people. There are plenty of water stations and lots of parking. They also have 2 porter potties if you have to use the restroom. They also have a park for kids to play on and a full size outside basketball court. The only problems I have with this park is that not many people go to it which is sad for such a giant park. Also when it rains it can get really muddy. Definitely would reccomend.

I took my two Labradors to this park expecting to let them swim. When we arrived at the park, there was no swimming area roped off for dogs. The pathway to the dirty creek was filled with huge rocks - not really accessible for doggy paws. These rocks were also in the water area where the dogs go in and out. My Labs ran through the fenced in area, which is nice. The grass needed mowing and there were nettles growing by the parking spaces right next to the walk. I will not be taking my dogs here again. FYI for any Lab owners or other dog owners whose dogs like water this is NOT what is appears to be on the web.

My dog loves this park. Its not always exactly split into big dogs and small dogs, but from my experiences the dogs and owners are usually nice! Usually lots of dogs to play with, lots of variety in sizes and breeds. No aggresive dogs that Ive seen.

Our dog really enjoys this park. Its large with plenty of room to run. The area is big enough that one of those tennis ball launchers can be used without a problem. The times we have been there have always been other friendly dogs to play with. There is a separate fenced agility section. There are stations for dog water and also multiple dog waste cans. There are boxes where the community donates plastic bags for waste pickup. Great park! Highly recommend!

It is well cared for, big, and the other dog owners are always super friendly. There is an agility course. It does get muddle puddles when it rains, but my dog loves that.Also there is a small playground outside the fenced in area for kids to play on.

This is a very nice place. Its well maintained, and has a friendly atmosphere. The park is huge, which seems to certainly be unique to the Columbus area. We have a small dog (10 lbs.), so the small dog area is very appealing. Our little guy doesnt know hes little, so playing with some of the huge dogs there would be disastrous for him. The people are pretty friendly as well, and enjoy letting the dogs play and get much needed exercise. Its definitely worth trying if you have a dog, and are looking for a park!

Nice quiet area at the time., for humans to sit on the bench by the water. Cute activity area for small dogs and a play area, for big dogs. A playground for kids. I did see a fury parent allowing their dog play on the kids slide though.

Love the park! So does doggo! Always clean and mowed. Park has been closed a lot this summer due to flooding. I would suggest a closed sign at the entrance or a posting on city website to let people know the park is closed due to flooding before they try to drive all the way in there and then have figure out how to back out.

Owners watch their dogs and keep them in check. Dogs there are friendly and playful. Always able to jump in on a game of fetch or chase. Pretty muddy this time of year, dress appropriately.

My pup loves running and playing with all the doggies. Nice big open area for dogs to play. All the people seem like nice dog people! There has always been dogs there when I go for my dog to run with.

I love this dog park! My pup, Kobe, always has a great time in the small dog area. My only gripes is that I wish the small dog area was a little bit more spacious and had more grass in there. Plus, a couple times Ive gone there I always see owners with big dogs in the small dog area; theyre courteous enough to leave once they see me and Kobe walking through the gate, but I think large dogs need to STAY in the large dog area which is WIDE open space!

Its a dog park. It was our first time here. However my dog loved it. He got to visit the other dogs there and appeared to have a great time. It had been raining earlier and the park was wet and muddy. So my dog also got filthy. He doesnt understand things well and walking him the next day was all about greeting every dog we passed.

Its always clean. Remember to bring your dog some water!! They have a hose outside the fence which is great, but inside the fence all of the water jugs sit in direct sunlight. I appreciate they have water at all tho!

Great dog park near Gahanna and John Glenn International. Big dog park, a small dog area fenced separately. There is an obstacle course as well. Crowd is usually friendly and responsible dog owners. There are water bowls galore, and a tap outside the fenced area. We recommend bringing your own gallon jug.Poop cleanup bags ARE NOT PROVIDED like Columbus metro parks, but sometimes there are plastic grocery bags people donate. Recommend you bring your own. Bring extras and leave them behind to pay it forward!

I love taking Axle here! Huge area for him to get his zoomies out! He loves the obstacle course and playing with friends! If yours is the type to roll in the mud much want to avoid the days after heavy rain!

Very well thought it dog park. Multiple areas that are subdivided within the larger fenced area. Several double doors to get in and out without letting all the dogs out, and give you a buffer zone to get your furry friend leashed when leaving. There is a small playground for kids....of the human variety. ;^) The agility area for the dogs is well equiped, and generous in size. There is a faucet to wash off your pets if they get muddy. There is also easy access to Big Walnut Creek for fishing. Otherwise, a very spartan park, but serves the purpose well!

Nice park, though Id love to see a fountain or some kind of water feature. Someone has added a couple water bowls that are difficult to tip over, which is good.

My dog loved this park. Its actually bigger than i expected! So, a lot of room for the puppies too run around. Its tucked back in the woods, but i was pleasantly surprised how clean and nice the grounds are.

This is a very nice dog park. Its clean, well groomed and secure. My dog and I have been here several times and she loves it! The other dogs and their humans have been friendly and polite every time we have visited. For the most part, people are very good about cleaning up after their dogs. I highly recommend this park.

My dog loves coming here and socializing. Everyone is really friendly and the space is nice, but, I am only rating it 3 stars because there is a lot of litter and are lots of areas that get incredibly muddy and large shallow spots of mud and standing rain water. Many dogs roll around in and get dirty... problem could be fixed easily by patching said areas with grass. Doesn’t seem like anyone really maintains this space that well.

One of my favorite parts is the small area of gravel! Perfect to let my pup run free without being covered in mud when its rainy out.

I havent spent much time here but the park looks nice! I ended a kayak trip down the Big Walnut through Gahanna here.

I love this park. I particularly like the variety of dogs. The park is busiest on weekends and after work hours; so, if your dog is not happy with lots of sniffing dogs, it is best to come when there are fewer around. And, for the most part, the owners are respectful, conscientious, and pick up after their pets. The water, unfortunately gets cut off for the winter months, which is the muddiest time of the year. Bring towels for you dog in order to protect your car. Otherwise, its perfect for owner and pet year round!

Great big dog park, has a playground and also some obstacles for dogs to run through. Not as much shade as I would like but all around a great dog park.

There is a decent agility set that is kinda falling apart and should be fixed.The area is massive and has a small dog area as well which is nice.I wish someone would supervise the dogs because sometimes the owners don’t.

The park is big and the people are all very nice. I have never had any trouble with my dogs there. The park is maintained and kept clean. I love the agility area.

Huge running space. But no shade

This is a great dog park and a real hidden gem. Tons of space for the dogs to run and play, with a separate area for small dogs. One of my two pups really enjoyed the agility area, and I was amazed how quickly she learned. All the dogs and owners were well behaved. Just be sure to take your own water! None is provided, and after all that running around, the dogs were really thirsty. Be sure to keep them hydrated!

Giant fenced in areas for dogs of all sizes, plus an agility course

There are several separate areas for small or larger dogs to run and play. There is an area for agility training and a playground for children. In all, a nice place with friendly dogs and people.

Bonus points for having a kids playground just outside the dogs play space - my dog and my son get to have fun at the same place. Love seeing familiar faces here, canine and human. Great place to socialize your dog with people and other dogs. LOTS of running space.

Best dog park I have ever taken my dog too. Everyone is very social and my pup is always tuckered out when we leave. I do like to go on a weekday if we can, when it is warm out they are busy busy on the weekends!!

My dog loves it here. There are two areas, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. The large dog enclosure is absolutely massive and include a time out pen, a small agility training course, and in the wetter months a GIANT mud puddle. I always bring a few old towels to dry my dog off after!

Great park. The lawn was nicely trimmed, poop bags were available every 100 feet or so along a path that traversed the park. Definitely a happy and clean place for dogs and their 2-legged owners.

This park is huge with a ton of room to spread out and run. During the summer though it gets quite muddy and full of biting insects so bring bug spray! Its also byo water for the pups.

This park was awesome! It was absolutely massive with an agility course and separate pens for bigger and smaller dogs....It was seriously like the Disney World for dogs. Will be going back frequently!

Huge, great, safe, clean place for our four legged babies to play! There is a smaller separate area for smaller more timid dogs. Always a variety of pups to play with with. Responsible owners. No water fountain but everyone brings plenty of water to share!

Sadly me and my dog will not be returning to this dog park. First the park is beautiful. Nice and secure and plenty of room to roam and play. Has a great layout and an agility course too. Its always nice and clean and plenty of water around.The reason we are not returning is I had too many issues of people trying to injury my own dog. I had a woman grab my dog and yank him and I had an old hag throw water on my dog. Im sorry but if you have a problem with my dog than let me know. I was sitting right there watching my dog play when she did that to him.
