I’m so glad we have this much nature within the city. I really couldn’t be around large groups of people today so I chose this nature walk for self care. I’m so going to brag about this in therapy tonight lol it’s so beautiful! I love looking at all the different architecture from the backs of peoples houses. A lot of them have gardens and they’re so pretty just tranquil once you look at them.

Straight forward hike in two parts with a short walk through a neighborhood in between, about five and a half miles round trip. There were some really dope spots on this trail - you walk on a bridge over train tracks and pass Laguna Lake, theres even an adorable bench made out of tree trunks. Also when you get to the end youre so used to having houses and trees on either side of you that when you suddenly dont, the city kind of opens up to you, which is neat. At the end of the day though, most of the trail is just walking down a samey path viewing a bunch of backyards (as interesting as some may be).

PARKING: I recommend parking your car for free at the Fullerton Justice Center, which is where the trail starts. This is a great trail for beginners, families with kids, dogs and is mountain bike friendly as well. Lots of tree’s and even has a dog drinking station along the trail.

Great place for a hike or bike ride. Can be busy on weekends. But lots of room to take your dog on a nice walk. Not a difficult hike at all. Mostly flat dirt trails. Easy walk.

Such a nice trail in the middle of Fullerton! Very wide and well maintained, always see others walking - some with friends, some with dogs, and many alone working out. Plenty of people biking as well. Everyone is friendly for the most part. There are forks in the trail, so pay attention to where you are going! Benches here and there, in case you need a break :) Overall a very nice place for a walk!

This is a very nice flat trail that will take you to Laguna Lake Park from the Fullerton Court Parking Lot. Theres lots of mountain bikers and they usually take the far right single track trail. Hikers stay in the main center trail that is really a dirt road. The trail is good, but it can get very busy, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, you may have to get there at the break of dawn. Not bad though for being so close to the everyday hustle and bustle.

Who hangs out on the Juanita Cooke Greenbelt Trail? Horses, Humans, Mosquitos and Bikes perhaps...Mountain bikers, runners, hikers and walkers will find a soft, dirt trail underneath tall eucalyptus trees accesible from courthouse on the South side. On the North side, trail can be accessed across the street from Laguna Lake Park. Markers are on wooden posts and trail is bordered with succulent and vegetable private/public gardens. For thrills take Mountain bike trail on left---from courthouse--or right when starting from Laguna Lake. This is a fun beginner/intermediate trail populated with friendly hikers and after the 1.75-mile marker you will find a fountain and a water bowl for thirsty mammals (see photos). Saw four Horses today and 3 well-behaved riders. Do take notice of the new water wise landscaping and horse/person crosswalk at Bastanchury Road (great feature). At the mile marker you can opt to go left (from south) or right from north for the shady section of this trail that ends on Euclid Street for a nice 3-mile route. Or you can continue straight under the bridge to Laguna Lake. There are some mosquitos, so deet based spray; hat and sunscreen are always good items to carry in. Juanita Cooke is a scenic trail with peek-a-book views of private estates surrounding trail and has a nice wooden bench at the fork in the trail. This is a favorite place to frequent with groups, family and friends. Great in the spring and summer.
