Very nice park. Was my Sons Birthday today and we had a great lunch. They have picnic tables amongst many other amenities. There was a Mommy Duck with 4 Ducklings whom though wild, were very Friendly and came up close enough for some pics. The Kids loved that.

Best hidden gem in OC! Great location for getting an amazing workout through the various staircases which overlook the OC and LA County Skylines. Nice clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. Fun for the whole family - Free Parking.

What a fun place to exercise, explore and take the pups out! The little one had fun rolling down the hills.

Growing up in Fullerton this was always one of my favorite parks. Always good parking to sit and eat some lunch and if you want to get out, lots of tables. Great views of the area and plenty of space to get out away from people. Even the bathrooms are clean most of the time.

This park is nice! There is a little bit of something for everyone; grassy areas, picnic spots, trails, and a fountain. It makes social distancing easy and is dog friendly. Bring water as there are very few drinking fountains. The hills make for a nice workout!

Beautiful park, the fountain is the most popular area of the park. There are lots of different birds at the upper area.

This old park is just the kind of park you want to go walking in. Lots of stairs if you want to challenge yourself with great views all around.

Amazing place to hike, run and do stairs. It was a little crowded in Thanksgiving morning but will definitely be there again.

The park looks good from the street, but no map and lots of broken glasses on the park ground. Be careful when walking around. I didnt see any playground and there were cars and motorcycles that can drive in and around the park, so be careful when crossing the streets in the park!

Its good mostly for picnics.Theres some shaded areas around it . Lots of tables to enjoy food.

I has become my favorite place to walk or to go hiking during this times of lock down. It gives sanity and keeps healthy going there at 6am every day during summer.

Shaded by so many trees and cool in the evening. Beautiful and quiet location for an evening picnic or playtime at the playground.

Parking is horrendous you dont have a Jeep or really good tires dont do it. The pedestrians are all over the paths to drive on and almost definitely wearing headphones which means theyre not paying attention. The bathrooms shouldnt even be on the property theyre more like cesspools the staff doesnt clean anything but they sure as heck do a lot of nothing and they do it right when everybody is there trying to use the park using lawn mowers and blowers

My wife is training to hike in the Rockies in Colorado. I have been taking her to walk up and down the steps. Great place for hill training that is close by.

Used to go here for Christmas events in the 1960s, the bathrooms were not maintained, but the rest of the park looked beautiful

What this park lacks in activity, it makes up for in its sheer size and beauty. And those stairs!! Man, who ever designed those knew how to set up a good open-to-the-public workout... in other words, a total sadist. The non-lethal stairs are that older stone style, which is lovely as well. Great park to exercise and chill for a bit.

This hidden gem is so beautiful. I attended a wedding there. The backdrop for the wedding is stunning. It was in front of the water fountain, perched on a hill. There is a trail and its secluded enough to drown out the street noise and to have an intimate setting.

The stair workout is amazing! I got there before sunrise and it was a comfortable environment.

Nice view from the top of the Fullerton hills but I would want to be caught out in this park at night. Pretty creepy.

Large scenic park. Located on a hill which makes it perfect for a little cardio. The trail along one side of the mountain and the stairs are a must. The only downside are the few homeless people. They arent bothersome but they are scattered throughout the park. Theres a single playground and a few bathrooms. Plenty of parking throughout the park and its located right next to a sports field complex. Theres also a big beautiful fountain at the bottom you can see from the street thats definitely utilized as a photo op.

Love this park, hilly, grassy and fun place to have a picnic, take a walk or have a special event The front of the park has been beautifully upgraded and looks amazing. Beautifully installed stairs in the back have plenty visitors using them daily. Except... the childrens playground area had been cordoned off for more than a year and not available for access. Hey City of Fullerton! Get your act together and repair the playground. Im sure you can find some money in the budget to repair the play area for the children in our community to access and use.

This place is awesome. I highly recommend coming here for a great workout. Those stairs are so intense, especially after the 2nd round.

Love what they did to this park. Water fountain was a great touch. Beautiful view and nice to place to just relax on one of their benches. I hear its a great hiking spot although I havent taken advantage of their trail.Lots of hills, lots of greenery, plenty of benches and tables at the top. Used to come here before they renovated for picnics with the family, now I love being out in the front where the fountain is.Definitely a big park. There are several levels. A couple playgrounds on bottom levels and the top provides a good city view. Will definitely come back again and check out the rest of the features they just added.

I love this park . Is very big, clean ., there are different areas. It have party rental salons for any occasion. We rent a privet room the American Red Cross Building, 1207 N Lemon St, The we can celebrate a family birthday party ., but there was a problem with other people from a party outside ., they where enter in our private room to use the restroom ., I don’t know if when they rent the area from a outside the manager don’t tell they that they can’t use the restrooms from inside the room the we pay for our party. We don’t have a privacy .

Hillcrest park is a Fullerton gem. First of all the park is huge. There are so many different parts to explore and see. The city of Fullerton recently made upgrades to the part of the park that faces Harbor Blvd. The park is very popular for the exercise enthusiast who wants to get out of the gym and use the natural hilly landscape to flex their muscles.

What a beautiful haven in the middle of city life! Great place for individuals and families to enjoy this park.

Very large park with a lot of different views... from the top you get a 360 degree view! This is a very beautiful park with a lot of stairs and not a lot of flat land.

This park is excellent if you like walking up and down hills, and climbing up and down alot of stairs. Its great exercise and you get a awesome view of the mountain range. Has a beautiful fountain and a big football field as well.

Lot of grassy area and trees. There are several play areas for kids. There are picnic tables mainly grouped together under the pavilion and in an open space in the center of the park. There is a great view from the top and a cool new fountain koff of Harbor Blvd

Not to crowded. Lack of shade trees is a minus.

I love to exercise here but over the last few months there is more people there smoking weed and more homeless so it makes it uncomfortable for a great hike

Recently renovated park. Several picnic areas. Bathrooms at the top. Tables and bbq grills as well. Nice place to do a little urban hike. Its a good workout climbing the hill. When you reach the top you are rewarded with a nice view of the city. Parking available at the top for those not able to walk it.

Great place for hike! Cardio on stairs,and beautiful water fountain. Nice place to enjoy summer concerts in the park. Plenty of parking.

So much broken glass from people who drink up there. If you have kids tell them to be careful and teach them to use a trash can instead of throwing glass bottles where people walk.

Such a beautiful park! I cannot believe I’ve lived in Fullerton since 03’ and have never been here. From what I’ve heard it’s an upgrade to what it was years back. There’s just so much space for picnics, little camp fires, soccer game, pictures, family gathering of any kind...

Yeah you get good excercise coming here but theres lots of trash, this place looks like it gets no maintenance, and also some homeless people roaming around, I didnt feel safe coming here dont think Ill be back.

Its a giant wide open park with hills, hence the name. The Great Fountain on the Great Lawn is pretty cool. There is also a pretty amazing memorial to our veterans.

The work out is great everyone should try it.

I love Fullerton in their effort in opening and maintaining the parks and trails! Hillcrest is nice big park and good amount of picnic tables.

Nice park for a stroll with a revamped water feature facing Harbor Blvd. The playground has been removed so there is just an empty sand pit where it used to be. There is a semblance of what used to be a communal picnic area but all but one of the BBQs have been removed. It would have been nice if this area of the park had received a fraction of the beautification funds they invested in the park recently... There are two rental facilities on site for groups and parties, theyre old lodges which have nice character.
