A best kept secret. Fantastic sea shelling & sweet saltwater swimming. People are responsible in keeping it clean & are quiet & courteous to others.Nice white sand dunes. Beautiful waters.Lots of birds & marine life in the surf. A place for quiet contemplation & absorbing the beauty of the sea & shore.

Found this by accident, as its not well publicized, which may account for it being nearly empty of visitors. I think maybe 5 other people there, and like us they all had dogs on this isolated beach. Beautiful boardwalk and scenery, well worth the effort.

The walk was short like 5 minutes but the walk to get there was BRUTAL because the mosquitoes were attacking in swarms. I haven’t been back because of the mosquitos and it wasn’t dusk when I walked out there. Safer to drive on the beach.

Small trail, well kept, with signs describing the habitat found in these dunes. There are parking spaces by the entrance of the trail, but no car access to the beach at this point.Peaceful spot, good to relax, walk, look for shells, since not many people come to stay in this part of the beach.

Its very short, and leads straight to the beach. You start out on gravel terrian that quickly becomes a board walk, and leads to the beach. All in all its nice but saying its a nature trail got my hopes a bit high

Small public parking lot, short trail and boardwalk to the beach with signs teaching about gulf coast habitats. Best place we found so far for collecting sea shells from the beach.

Wonderful short trail to quiet shell covered beach. Good birds during migration in the salt cedars. Orchard Oriole, yellow warbler, ruby throated hummer, indigo bunting, peewee.

Beautiful trail which lead to the beach. Birdwatching ideal due to the amount of vegetation and brush.Little dirty litter on beach side, please practice leave no trace and leave it better than you found it.

Exceptional park that has a very private feel to it. My wife and I live in Galveston, but we always pick this place during the summer because its off the beaten path and we can enjoy the day without being overrun with too many tourists. There are beach access roads up/down the road so you can drive onto the beach too if you want. This is especially good if you and your family want to spend the day here.

Its a short path over a small sand dune and a short boardwalk. Not really a lot to see here.

Great boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. This beach is loaded with shells. The boardwalk appears to be handicap accessible, However, it ends at beach with No railing. Stairs or ramp. Be careful

We visited today. We were so excited because it was the first time we took our daughter to the beach. The beach itself is beautiful but coming in from Houston we saw a lot of police and we ended up getting pulled over. It ruined our day. On our way back it was the same, a lot of police pulling over other vehicles. My advice if you come is to make sure you have everything up to date and you stick to the speed limit. We wont be back anytime soon as nice as the beach was.

Short nature trail to the beach, but the boardwalk stops about 2 feet above the sand, and possibly in the water depending on the tide.
