Beautiful view of Brazos River. Nice facilities..clean park

Nice play to walk or let the little ones play.There is a playground, several pavilions, a rec center, swimming pool, restroom facilities, and a walking path that leads to another park, restrooms, fishing ramp, and dock.There is also a few community building that can be rented. The library is also located here.

Went to Vote early, was a very quick process, people at the library and the polls were very nice

It is a nice quiet place to take the kids to spend some energy. There are no vendors of any type, though! The girls facilities are ok -if anything else, there is no dirty toilet paper all over the place. The park has swings sets, slides, escalating walls, and green grass all over. It has a nice pavilion for birthday parties -open, no AC. There is a community house, The Riverhouse, for rent for special occasion events. It is just a few years old, very modern with high windows looking into the water. There is boat ramp and we saw several people fishing from the pier. It is nice and the kids had fun!

Best park in town, they got a thing that makes rainforest sounds, new playground stuff, and swings!

The Fishin Fiesta was scaled down to just the fishing tournaments and the BBQ cook offs, but was done well for social distancing and still a wonderful event!

Underrated park. Spacious with a nice breeze off of the river.

This park makes me feel unsafe it is almost pitch black there are almost no pole lights and it gives me a unsafe and creepy feeling

Quite little park with a lot to offer

My wife and I walk and work out here daily. The scenery of the river is really relaxing while taking a long troll. Theres also places to throw a rod for fishing. If youve got kids, take them to the splash pad or one of the playgrounds the park offers. All together its a pretty nice place to take the family.

This is one of the best quiet places around. Also a great skate spot. If you see the rootbeer stand open, just stop whatever you are doing and go buy something.

Too many homeless drunks laying out every where. I dont know why the city of freeport allows this. Some of them have a bunch belongings there like they are living there.

Its a great place for kids to enjoy while adults fish.

Goals were amazing. But the lights need to be turned on at night.

Well what can I say, this place keeps getting better and better I remember spending lots of fun times here as a child and Ive never seen it this well maintained before preciate this place more then anyone can comprehend, to this day this place will always feel like family and home.....

Had lots of fun with the kids has playgrounds basketball court and the gym right besides it and pool too also the freeport library. love it!!

It has play ground for the kids a swimming pool a pavilion for events a community house next to the River for special occasions a library a beautiful memorial for all who have served in the Armed Forces the police department is close by a basket ball court and a river for fishing skiing and enjoying and a walk area for you to enjoy the river as well as bettering yourself health wise and it has lights to enjoy at night
