We Loved our Tasting at Lost Draw. So convenient to be able to book ahead of time online. This was our second visit here and it wont be our last. Kyle did a great job hosting our tasting and we were so lucky to meet Troy and hear all about the history of Lost Draw, now we feel like family. The outdoor space is nice and shady and has such a great ambiance and we cant wait to come back and bring our friends! Thanks & Gig Em!!!

I had a great time! I was a bit worried we wouldnt have anything to do much because of covid but Lost Draw Cellars was able to do a private tour (book online in advance btw!) And Chris Herrera was very informative and just fun to tour with. Very unique wine here. If im ever in town I would definitely come back to support them. Thanks!

We came here on a Monday with our 2 dogs and got to sit outside. Lisa helped us with our flight of wine and was SO education and fun to talk to! We had an amazing experience and will definitely be back when we are in Fredericksburg next.

We had our Dog so we sat on the patio and purchased a bottle of wine. The Tempranillo was great! I’d assume a tasting would be great here based on the Tempranillo we had! Great quality wine. Good taste! Awesome atmosphere!

We stopped here for our last tasting Saturday, and they were super busy before closing time. I’m so thankful they got us in! It was so busy that they ended up taking us to a table in a private room. The gentleman giving us the tasting was so informative and kind. Although it was extremely close to closing, he took the time to answer all the questions we had. We learned that they do a really cool thing every year in January where people mix wines tighter and create a new wine! We want to come back and do that. The tasting was very reasonable priced and we also ended up getting a bottle of wine and two jars of pepper jelly while we were there! Can’t wait to come back.

The people that work there are friendly and outgoing. it has a cozy atmosphere inside and relaxed outside seating. Need a place to relax off the main strip in Fredericksburg with easy parking, youve found it. Good selection of whites and rose wines, reds are lacking.

I loved this place! I am not a big fan of wine, but we did a wine tasting and I enjoyed every wine they gave us. The staff are extremely friendly and nice. I definitely recommend checking this place out!!!

What a beautiful little winery! The service was so personal and friendly. Felt like coming over to a friends house! I definitely will be back. Cute and quaint! Enjoyed wine, cheese, meats, and chocolate. They were lovely and showed us the bottling process as well.

Had a fantastic wine tasting and tour for a friends birthday party. A great venue for events, fantastic and welcoming staff, and most importantly very good wine. Definitely a great day trip for people from Austin or San Antonio looking to have a fun day with friends.

Great people and its right in town

This place was our first stop traveling to this city for the first time ever and it was PHENOMENAL! The entire staff & scenery are incredible. We traveled with our pet and they were hospitable & accommodating and we were able to have our tasting outside as well. I highly recommend this place. It’s definitely a family, pet, & children friendly venue. Awesome scenes for pictures as well.

We try to visit the Texas wine country every year. We have our favorites, but always try to visit new ones as well. Ab Astris was recommended to us by 2other wineries. Glad we went! Beautiful setting, great wines, friendly service and we were able to enjoy our lunch on the patio. Dont miss this one!!!

Some of the best Texas wines are from grapes in the Lost Draw area. This is a great place to sample wines, talk with the staff and enjoy a glass or bottle. Not a bad wine in the bunch I tasted, but some better than the others.

Wine pick-up party today for club members. What a great vibe at this awesome winery. Tamale, chilli and much more prepared and served by the team. Lost Draw has set the benchmark for other wineries to strive too.I highly recommend this place. You feel like family.

Not my favorite by far. $15 for wine tasting each, stingy pour, lame atmosphere. Okay wine, nothing interesting/spectacular.

After a long day of visiting the bigger “commercial” wineries it felt so nice to stumble into a micro brew style tasting room. The guys working the counter were extremely friendly and welcoming. It didn’t feel like we were being rushed through our tasting, even though it was close to closing time. It had a great small town feel with amazing wines. (The only bottle we bought all day). We were hesitant to try a place so close to the main strip but so glad we did. We will be returning!

Lost Draw has been around for a couple of years and was recommended (for good reason) by our B&B. They are especially friendly and even though they are nearly always packed on the weekends, we still go in for a tasting whenever we go to Fredericksburg.The Tempernillo is about our favourite. No very sweet wines - just good flavours (sic).

This place was recommended to us for some of the better wine in Hill Country. We werent disappointed. The wine was the best we had in the area and the family running the winery was really knowledgeable and friendly. A little off main street, but definitely worth the extra walk or short drive. Nice tasting room.

Amazing people, Troy is the sweetest. He talked to us about the history of this place and showed us where the wine is made. Wine is amazing, we ended up buying a bottle of Moscato and sat in the back and listened to live music. I cant wait to come back!

Amazing wine, like so many places around here... What sets this place apart is the great people who work here. CJ who did our tasting was knowledgeable and personable, so much so we couldnt leave and had more than a few glasses in the great outdoor area. Troy and his wife Carleen are so friendly and welcoming, it feels like youre drinking wine in your own backyard. With a fun outdoor area and a great atmosphere youll never want to leave.

Hidden gem off main street!

This place is fantastic! Its in Fredericksburg and was walking distance from our hotel. I liked every wine we tried; they really put out a great product. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!

The tasting room is beautiful inside. The grounds are very nice and quaint for a in town cellar. The wines were just ok, middle of the road all dry wines. Service was ok.

Visited this winery back in the spring not to long after they opened, I had heard of it before but did not realize that it was in the middle of town right behind the HEB Store. I liked the laid back atmosphere and the wine was excellent, as was the service. I have been to over 90+ wineries around the state and I would rate it in the top quartile as a whole. Look forward to visiting again.

Kasey(sp) gave her father a break and walked us through the wines at our tasting and her enthusiasm over their product was apparent and only added to the overall experience. Normally i would rather have the proprietors tell me about the wine and let me sip but her knowledge of the grapes,regions and processes helped with our understanding and enjoyment of each new wine experience.

CJ will fix you up with an informative and fun tasting of wonderful whites, reds and a rose. If youve had real Texas wine elsewhere, youve already tasted some of Lost Draws grapes. They know how to make good wine at Lost Draw Cellars. Make time to stop by if youre in Fredericksburg.
