Great atmosphere. Money goes a lot further than in most places with similar environments. Go karts are awesome, staff is very friendly. Entire place was being cleaned constantly as we played. 10 out of 10 recommend.Ps... pizza was pretty good too!
Its nice to see this place is roaring with fun seeking local and families all safely and without crowding. The space did a great job making folks feel safe and ensuring spacing by turning off some machines. We always enjoy our time here, and the new ride is pretty worth it. The grabbers drive us insane as they grab the top and let it go. I am sure this is by design.
Did a great job of keeping the place open but still instilling covid-19 rules and standards of social distancing and sanitation. I felt very safe and protected. The staff was very pleasant. My boyfriend and I and another couple we are friends with had a blast playing mini golf, go carting and arcade. Would have loved to do laser tag but understand the reasons for have it closed down still. Maybe next time! Overall for a group of adults we had a blast! Great job fun land staff!
Unfortunately, it seems Fun Land has suffered as many businesses have due to COVID. The mini golf was overgrown or in disrepair, only some of the rides were or attractions were open and the overall grounds felt unkept. It definitely has good bones and I would imagine, given the ability to open a little longer, it will return to its former glory. My kids had a blast so we will definitely make another trip and hope things are able to improve for them.
Son had a awesome time. The staff did great with the social distancing and clean all equipment
Fun for the kids but sometimes a lot of stuff is not working correctly and you got to wave someone down or hunt for them to get your credit back. Over all Go carts and the outside stuff is terrific.
We had a ball me and my family . The people who work there was so helpful. I would like to say thank you to James, Luckiest, Trever and Adam. Thank y’all so much for the wonderful experience. And they are VERY VERY VERY CLEAN AFTER EVERYTHING IS SAID AND DONE WE WILL RETURN THANK YOU AGAIN.
Really fun went there three times with my family good rides good food very nice people I recommend coming here
Our overall experience was good. The staff were all friendly and professional.Indoor attractions and facilities are great! The mini golf was in disrepair and not maintained as far as the water feature and landscaping throughout the entire course. There was algae or slime trash/debris and mud in on and around the putting greens. As well as a feral cat living underneath the structure at the end of the putting course.
They have a lot of redemption and arcade games, laser tag, bumper cars, mini golf, etc. Lots of fun activities. Staff are nice. Can get spendy quick and my biggest gripe is in order to use the WiFi you have to log in with you Facebook or Instagram account and like the page. Im already spending money here then have to log in with my social media to use the WiFi. Thats the only reason for 4 stars
I give this place five stars!!! The staff was very well trained we were able to do the go carts and all rides. We actually were able to text when one ride was unmanned and he was out within a minute. I have not been there in a few years and I definitely love the upgrades it’s great for an 8-year-old and 11-year-old!! We played laser tag bumper cars and there is also games bowling climbing walls and more!!! Thank you will definitely return.
Amazing staff! Doing a great job of sanitation and keeping the mask rules enforced.
Always a great time for the kids, and for us since we r just big kids!
It was very clean and had ample hand sanitizing stations. Even though half of the games and attractions were closed they picked the best ones they could to stay open!
Love the fun all around and enjoyed myself very safely with the arcades and rides too. Would love to go there again.
Covid had a lot closed down but definitely a fun place to visit.
Its a good place to let the kids have fun and nice clean sanitizers at all stations, very impressed. I would have give a 5 but they changed the pay formula to pay per item instead of the pay for one card and get unlimited rides. Ask if they are changing that. It saves you a lot of money as a consumer. With post Covid they did a decent job of having most arcade machines active. The outside activities with gocarts, golf and rides were all open and bat cages. The food they have pizza, chicken fingers, hot dogs and are very affordable as well. Its a good family place for safe fun...
My kids always have a great time here but the prices are quite pricey and the restrooms are not cleaned as they should be.
We brought our 7 yr old granddaughter last night for her birthday. While waiting in line for the inside roller coaster ride, there was a group in front of us that had about 8 people in it. This group grew to about 15 after they kept letting their kids get off the ride then straight back to the front. We asked to speak with a manager and never saw one. The employees didnt seem to care. This along with waiting in line to spend the tickets we won behind a couple that had over 27,000 points with just one employee working and waiting for them to decide what they wanted has left a very bad taste. Weve come here multiple times but after last night I wont recommend it to anyone.
Excellent place to take the young children to have lots of fun. Though all of their inside rides are only for smaller children. Not too many things inside for high school age. If you have young children this is a great place to take them. Unfortunately the service is kind of lacking. Youre supposed to call a number if there is no employee to help with a ride. When I called a few times the message stated that they werent taking any calls. We asked the girl at the desk for assistance, and it still took about ten minutes for someone to show up to help. We wanted to try the scary ride but we were asked to wait so they could put on a less scary ride. Once the ride we originally were going to take was over the employee again tried to tell us to wait because someone else was there. They only seem to have young kids as employees with not much motivation or customer service ethics. Everything that you can do without assistance is nice though. The kids well enjoy theirselves!
Fun..I guess thats why they call it Funland! The go-carts were great
The haunted lazertag is a blast and I highly recommend it!!!
Its a lot of fun and i would love to go back but its to far
First time & even during a pandemic it was still not too crowded. I will be returning...but I do advise ppl to get here early!
They shut down way to much bs with covid and the workers on the twist and shout taking their sweet time
My 7 hear old autistic son and I were denied entry because he wasnt wearing a mask. His sensory issues do not allow him to wear a mask and after this was explained we were still turned away.Wont be returning.
Great place for family yo have a ball
Super fun, lots to do and a reasonable price for the season pass.Video games, a rock wall, roller coaster, batting cages, mini golf, bowling, bumper cars and more. They have a snack bar, plenty of seating and an expansive outdoor activities area.Friendly staff, safe and clean facilities and a good place to let the kids (or kid in you) play. If you are local I recommend the season pass which offers a great value.Car based playing that also tracks tickets win, so no more lost tokens or tickets which can be redeemed for some decent prizes.A definite hit with the whole family.
We had a blast definitely coming back
Really fun. Me and a friend went and had an amazing time. I also thought you should be able to have 2 people in a cart without a license.
This was just what the doctor ordered the kids loved it I caint wait to go back
Nice staff members. Lines were longest for go carts
Horrible experience. Stood in line for the go karts, for over 1.5 hours. The staff is so slow. Maybe because theyre constantly running their mouths to each other. If they gave refunds, I would have definitely gotten my money back. Ill never come here again.
I had a great time
Covid 19 made it hard to get in the game room. Other than that it is a place to have fun. Putt putt golf meets motor world joins Dave and busters/chucky cheese. Same things to be expected by all these places. Ran by teens so customer service could always b better but all in all a great place to take the kids especially after covid restrictions
People are nice, not worth the money go karts suck
My son and I went here for the first time this week which is March in 2019 because we have heard about it before and we enjoy Clint Novaks YouTube page as well but we were pleasantly surprised this is a very nice place with so much to do and in the summer time I can imagine even better because everything outside will be operational so I plan to go back then this is a really fun place.
We went in January and bought the ride and play plus. It wasnt very cold that weekend so we assumed the outdoor part would be open. Nope, it wasnt. We also didnt have access to A LOT of the games even though we had the ride and play plus. Spent over $200 on our family of 5 and was super disappointed. If the outdoor section is closed seasonally fine, but say so on the website and dont make the ticket prices so high when we dont have access to everything.
It was fun. the inside rides are more for little kids but i found that it was clean and very fun. however, the bathrooms are filthy. the outside rides were fun too, but they are showing quite a lot of signs of ageing but that didnt stop me from having fun.the go-karts were okay. we just had to keep stopping b/c of some type of failure from other riders. the thing was, we stopped 3 times for around 3 mins each and we didnt get any extra laps to make up for it, so the outdoor go karts arent really worth the price and wait so id recommend going somewhere else if youre looking for a great go kart experience.the food in the cafeteria was okay. definately a greasy spoon diner, but thats what i like. the pizza was okay, but the wings were surprisingly great so id def. recommend the wings.also, all members of my party got a $5 gift card for having to park off site so that was good.would recommend.
It was great my kids loved it
The batting cages werent working correctly, part of the bowling lanes were closed, the roller coaster was having issues at one point. It just seemed like more things were broken than anything else.
Great fun lots to do great Friday specials
Enjoy coming to this place! Lots of games and very family oriented! I took my family here around New Years! Family had a great time also have an awesome go kart track!
Warning it’s a huge money pit but it is fun. We get the unlimited passes it’s the cheapest way to do it if you want to do most of their activities or it’s going to cost a ton. Even with the unlimited depending on the size of your family it will run about $100 which is crazy. We always have a good time with the go karts and the laser tag. BRING your drivers license or you can’t drive a go kart
We waited in line for one hour not because of Covid-19 simple because the go-kart kept breaking down and they staff just sit here and run their mouth. They was so unorganized that its a shame.
Those go carts are everything. However they kept shutting down the track due to mechanical problems or cars spinning out of control. Which led me and the others just sitting on the track. We did more sitting then driving. If they had more staff for the track then it would be less wait time.
Do not use money there, if you get a card for a small amount like $25 or $35 and you pay a big bill like $50 in cash they don’t give change back and thats a shame like you should be able to get your cash back and the workers was not helpful. It was okay
I love the new renovations!!! I cant wait to come back!!! Day passes are the way to go!! Weekdays= no lines!!
The boys had a great time. So much to do in one place indoors & outdoors. Many fun games to play. Rides for the children. One if the boys are 4 hot dogs. Rock climbing was fun & challenging. We all had such a good day playing at Fun Land.
My first and last time at this place!1st the parking lot has about only 4 handicaps parking.2nd the go cart line was 2 hours wait time3rd the $36.99 unlimited card its not for all the games or rides.
Laser tag, adult and kid go karts, 360 degree bumper cars, arcade, mini bowling, putt putt golf, and rides for kids...went as an adult without kids and had a blast! Even played some of the carney games. Arcade is separate pricing but still reasonable. Will be going back . #DREAMS4U #Donate #scholarship #FunLand
This place is fun for all ages! My boyfriend and I went for my birthday. Unfortunately, it was raining so the go karts and other outdoor attractions were not open. However, mini golf was. There needs to be some major repairs to the mini golf course with the turf and such but we liked it! My biggest complaint is it is a little pricey. If youre going, make sure you have anywhere from 50-100 bucks PER PERSON. We plan on coming back again soon.
Very fun place I love the newest updates. Most definitely a great attempt at a Halloween themed rooms, but you can definitely tell that its their first year trying to do it. I do believe it will get better if they continue.Unfortunately their prices are very high and the customer service is lacking at best.
Great family fun.
Great service and very good keep on the cleaning.
It was awful. Over half the games were broken. The ones that did work you had to swipe your card two or three times to get a play and yes it took money each time. I had won an animal from a claw machine it went to drop the animal in the prize box but got stuck. I got a staff member and they said oh well cant get that for you. The rides were under routine maintenance however some started miraculously working then not working. The kids actually asked to leave. Spent $200 too! Waste of money! Dont come here !
Cool place to take children. They are kind of pricey; buy an admission bracelet and pay for each game/ ride. Fun Land does have nice Go Kart tracks for kids and adults. One of the tracks are two different levels. Overall, I enjoyed myself.
Always so much fun!
Looks fun, similar to Dave and Busters but batting cages suck..machines broken, as well as Mini-bowling (3/6 lanes not working). Very expensive.
A fun place to take your kids on a cold rainy day, and they have a cool race track on warmer days. They are also updating the areas inside to make sure it is a new experience seasonally.
Lot of children here play and have fun with family and family .Veriety stuff to do fun.
This place is awesome! Its not very short people or fluffy friendly which is the reason for 4 stars, but the prices are really cool as well. I will definitely be coming back in the future.
I came on a Friday expecting it to be busy, but was surprised to find it pretty empty. Paid for an unlimited ride wristband, expecting to ride the go carts, super excited about the new track. Then I walked outside and found out why it was empty. All the good attractions were closed. I went back in and asked about the go carts and was told they are closed on Friday. They wouldnt give me a refund because it says it on the calendar. No wonder no one is here. Why would anyone come here on a friday evening when the best stuff is closed? This place is a joke.
I used to really love this place. This was one of the only places you could play DDR at. Once they redid the arcade the took the machine out. Which I understand. But it still say on the new website that it’s still there. I also called before I came down to make sure it was still there. No such luck. It’s also hard to get any of the staff to help you if a machine breaks. I will still come back for the go karts in the summer because they are a ton of fun. But overall this place has gone downhill.
The lines were ridiculously long and slow. 3 hour wait for the thunder track for one ride. The naskart was a 45 minute wait. Only 5 adult cars available alternating with the child rookie cars.
Double level track is awesome
My friends n family love this spot
Filthy bathrooms, dont think they were checked the entire night. The go-carts stopped multiple times during each groups turn because of mechanical problems. Half of the batting cages wouldnt work or took so long to work that it would start 3 min after someone gave up. Its not a bad place, just a lot of small inconveniences. We still had fun and there are tons of games to play. My daughter had a blast on their climbing walls and rollercoaster. At the end of the night, we still enjoyed ourselves.
We drove about hr to come here and it was well worth it! My family went and had a great time! When I say my family, or ages ranged from 2 to 62. We loved the laser tag and go karts. I would recommend the unlimited bands for the attractions. The band for the video games is limited, but may be worth it to you. Looking forward to going again!
Very fun to go to with a group of friends or your loved ones.
Very disappointed with our visit on 3/7/2020. Paid $209 for 4 all day passes and my children could not do go-karts or batting cage, because things were malfunctioning. Wristbands were supposed to work for some of the arcade games but we kept getting a message that said not enough credits or something to that affect. Staff not very helpful and no refunds are given. I dont live in Fredericksburg and traveled 2 hours to get there with the intention of spending several hours having fun. We left after 2.5 hours. BIG WASTE OF MONEY.....
Not bad big place, like David and buster
Most games are broken. You have to swipe more than once sometimes - meaning it charges you twice to play once. Patrons are rude. Expensive to stay and play while treated with disrespect. I wont be returning.
It was very fun here. I really enjoyed laser tag. I recommend this place.
It was super fun. Lots of games and rides. My sons favorite things were the video games, go carts and laser tag.
This place is awesome for kiddos!!
I grew up going to Funland and it was the typical place to throw birthday parties, sort of dirty and old but the kids have fun. However, this place has completely turned around and is totally awesome now! The new go-kart complex is sweet and anyone in the burg should come try it.
We are local residents here and the first time we visited we strictly went for mini golf. I was initially handed a bent club and a club with a loose head! The fact that staff could actually hand that to me was ridiculous. A lot of young high school age youth working here which would be fine if they were properly trained.Overpriced for what we got and the course is in desperate need of a repair and full make over. The rides and games are expensive and the food is meh.We were not that impressed honestly. For the amount of traffic this place gets due to tourism we expected a far more pleasant experience.
It’s getting so much better for games and rides. We did have a birthday party here this past Sunday. The 4 pizzas we ordered were all under cooked. Our host didn’t really want to do things without asking if I wanted her to do them. She was very nice though. I am only stating this because they shouldn’t ask. Other then spending 500 for an unlimited party with laser tag being closed which was a bummer, it wasn’t to terrible. I won’t order the pizza there again because that made us feel gross.
Fun and safe with covid precautions
The games were fun but at the end of the night everything is closed and all of the staff has an attitude. They were very rude if you asked them any questions. If you do go I suggest getting there very early maybe they will have more energy and enthusiasm
Had a great time playing mini golf but the course needs some work.
So much to do! Its like a amusement park and Dave and busters had a baby. Plus the go karts are a blast. The all day pass is the best option
Half of the rides were shut off. We went around 4p on a Thursday. My 4 year old had a blast though. Sparsely staffed.
Fun, enjoyable, video games, fair-like rides. It was overall fun, as we brought in the New Year, with some family members we havent seen for a long time.
Good place to take your kids to. Plenty of fun rides and games. Outside rides are not too expensive $5-$10. Will definitely come back with the kids. We did not try any of their food.
Its been a couple years since Ive been here and I must say I was impressed. Its MUCH better than it use to be. The pizza was a little greasy for my liking and it was a little pricey but other then that it was great.
We went to play mini golf and the lights werent turned on so we had to play in the dark. Also several of the holes definitely need some TLC. Went to the batting cage and it only pitched 4 baseballs before the light just kept blinking and didnt pitch anymore. Still giving 3 stars because I found a manager and he said hed get the batting cage looked at and put the money back on the card and mini golf was fun until it was so dark we couldnt see the ball or the hole. Well try again another time because it does seem like a fun place for kids and hopefully I can amend to a higher star rating.
Arcade and rides are good though a couple of games were out of order. Food court was seriously lacking good management. Food choices were limited...not what is posted.. was told by employee that some choices were out of stock. The few food items that were available tasted like they had been sitting in the warmer a long time. Some drink choices were out too.
My grandkids absolutely love coming here. Definitely worth the hour drive
Mini golf course hasnt been touched since I went here 15 years ago... Absolutely shameful to charge people anything more than a dollar to play. Arcade is decent but ridiculously priced. God forbid my kid ever want to have a party there, Ill have to get a second mortgage on the house... Or sell a kidney.
Cool place! The kids had a great time. They liked it better than Dave and Busters
Took our 14 yr old son. We all had a great time. Go carts. Bumper cars. Video games.lazer tag, my son and I bonded . Great time
Good family time well needed
