All my life has been lived at Baker Park. Its a true love for me. Now that Im moving I made sure to make one last night walk along the paths. Make sure to go an have a great time in the scenic nature.

Fantastic spot to spend the day sitting in the grass, watching the pond, looking at birds in the sky. Really solid spot to hang out alone or with friends in Frederick.

Its a very nice park with lots of tracks, play areas, swings, places to sit, fountains, creeks, courts and picnic areas. Great place to run and something to do as a family. Also lots of parking

Baker Park is a wonderful place to relax, exercise, enjoy the outdoors, walk the river, sit by the clocktower. Too many things ! The gazebo is a popular spot and great for photos. There was a giant willow that was almost 200 years old that got a memorial because of how loved this park is. Now a new tree sits in its place. Its not uncommon to see people putting up hammocks and enjoying the shade. Absolutely dog friendly, with water fountains accessible for your pup (or other animals I spose). Wonderful and family-friendly with playgrounds and swings as well. Enjoyable for everyone with Downtown Frederick a hop and a skip away.

Really doesnt matter the season, Baker Park is an awesome place to spend the day. One park on each end connected by parallel paths which wind past tennis courts, historical homes, baseball diamonds, beautiful gardens outside the Bell Tower and wide open fields for picnics, Frisbee or dog walking. A favorite downtown spot for many downtown residents of all ages.

Baker Park is a gem in downtown Frederick! It is a lovely stroll, weather permitting.

It was beautiful. Grounds are amazingly well kept despite all the disruptions from the pandemic. The lake and stream were clean and well maintained. It wasnt too crowded. Plenty of benches and picnic tables so we could enjoy our picnic dinner.

Its alot better than it used to be growing up in Frederick i seen it change alot i just wish they had like a pier type thing to walk across the lake..

Good place for solo or family activities. There are interactive learning centers for kids. I also saw lots of people execersizing, doing yoga or just relaxing.Well kept by the community from what I could see. Also some interesting history.Easy to get to and well kept paths for walking, running or biking.

Super fancy and diverse. Took my lady there after ordering carryout since the restaurants are still wary of the plague. They had tennis courts, fountains and two dwarves jogging and playing leapfrog. You cant make this stuff up. Nobody cleaned up after their dogs and everybody was riding weird bikes, but nobody seemed to care. I dont know how the people we saw there afford to live in the neighborhood. Very nice houses, but the people all looked like hippies. Parking was ample. Will return.

My kid and I love riding bikes here but everytime we go there condoms on the floor. Strange...

Great park!Lots of different things to play on for little kids and big kids too.Everyone had fun - even the teenagers!I really enjoyed the lovely views from this park while they were playing.We have found a new favorite.

Large, beautiful park with much grassy area, picnic tables, tennis court, play ground, volleyball net in area across the bridge, a picturesque bell tower and walking path, and a stream on one edge that had Canadian geese and ducks in it - seems like a popular place but is still peaceful with trees and nature all around

It was nice being out in public and for the most part people were being safe. Just watch out for choke points. People seem to think those are good places to stop and talk.

Fantastic place to just come and hang out. If your are new in the frederick area and you want a serene quiet place to clear your head, this is the place for ya. You can also come here with your pet dogs to walk. Exercising and running on the park is always fun. Great views from different angles and exceptional experience all around. There are also concerts and cinema that happens at the park every so often. So far every event that Ive attended has been free. Unknown if there are any that you have to pay for. This park is beautiful and very large! There is a wonderful pathway to walk along multiple parks for children and a creek on the other side.

Best park in Frederick. You can enjoy concerts and events plus exercise or feed the birds. Plenty to do and cheap.

If you go here, bring bread or cat food or something to feed the ducks. They are very tame and that is one of the funnest things to do. Whole herds of them follow you wherever you go, they do not attack it or not mean, Ive held several baby ducklings there for other people to pet. You can catch and release fish off the edge of several docks, its a beautiful and Gorgeous park with nice trails, parking on the side that is meter free, usually available spots. Public water fountain, public restrooms but they are just Porter Johns in enclosed wood structures.

Beautiful park with a lovely walking/running trail that goes alongside Carrol Creek. Lots of picnic areas, some with grills. The park also features several baseball fields, a clock tower, several playgrounds, a band shell, tennis courts, grass fields, and access to public parking.Truly a beautiful park nestled in the downtown Frederick area. A must see when visiting. The atmosphere is family friendly and designed with children in mind.

Always peaceful and relaxing, people are friendly. Great place to bike, jog or walk. Early weekend mornings are a great time. Plenty of resteraunts in downtown Frederick and Carrol Creek adds to the enjoyment.

I have always and will always love Baker Park. Wide open, naturey spaces, nice paths that are usually pretty wide, plenty for kids to do, and occasional events that are perfect for families. Ive been having a good, safe time at Baker Park since I was a small child.

The carillon was playing music when we were there.

Just cruised by on the way to a school. Its a beautiful and restful place. Too cold to walk around.

The best place between DC and PA for July 4th fireworks. Better than DC - Ive been to both! Frederick wins! Come early and enjoy the country bands or the rock bands at the shell all day.
