Omg this was so much fun!!! And theyre VERY good about sanitizing everything. I saw them wiping the door, hatchets, and tables & chairs after each group left. I was kind of nervous about doing it but they made me feel very safe about both the hatchet throwing and the sanitizing. Good people, good music, and a great time!! Ill definitely be going back!

Very clean and well kept. The staff members were incredibly friendly! Hatchet throwing is so much fun and the group that my wife and I went with really felt welcome and had a blast!

Came here for a two hour session with friends.I like that they dont force an instructor to hover over you for the entire time like many other places do.Shout out to Evan, who got us setup and does blacksmithing using the recycled wood targets there.

Came here with some friends today and it was SO much fun! The atmosphere is so amazing and the staff are super helpful and patient. The process to get in is super quick and easy and they even ice your beverages for you! I can’t wait to go back!

Wow what a great place to come and have fun throwing hatchets. This place is 21 and older which is great, also it’s byob. The staff and atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. If you leave this place stressed out there is something wrong. Highly recommend

My husband and I had a great time throwing at Stumpys! We brought a few cold ones and some yummy snacks, and learned how to throw! Rose was such a helpful Axe-pert, watching what I was doing each time the hatchet bounced off the target. She recommended changes to my stance and follow through, and I finally got it! The venue is welcoming and well-decorated, with plenty of space to throw and socialize. I cant wait to go back again!

Cool trendy place to take your friends or family for a fun night out. Prices are decent and you can byob and wine. Make sure to call ahead and reserve your spot or you may not get in.

We went here for my friend Bachelor Party on 10/12/19. The experience was amazing! The staff was so nice and helpful! They were very active in helping us learn how to throw and encourage us. I will definitely be coming back!

The reservation process was easy and its only $25 per person for one hour for wonder for people. The staff were nice and the other people throwing next to us were having a fun time with us. You can leave your coolers with food and drinks at the front we decided not to bring anything and went to eat at Friscos afterwards which is right across the street

It’s a great place to get together with friends, kickback, enjoy some beers and throw hatchets. The staff is awesome and attentive. Plus there’s giant Jenga and video games to play when you are done throwing or just want to do something else. So glad to have something fun to do in Frederick.

Our company had an event and rented the entire facility. The staff was helpful with setup/cleanup to meet our needs and provided us the attention we needed. I received great feedback from employees and spouses that attended. Consider this for an outing personally or corporate, you will not be disappointed.

The environment there was great. My one big complaint would be in regards how they manage your time slot. Do to the large group in front of us, and having to wait for the Stumpys associates to reset the board, our group wasn’t able to actually throw an axe until roughly 12 minutes after we were supposed to start. We brought this up to the employee who was showing us proper throwing techniques, and he just brushed it off. All the employees were very mice and knowledgeable, but it was a bit disappointing and upsetting that paying the amount you do, that you don’t actually get your full time slot. Makes it hard to justify going back, with the possibility of that happening.

Great atmosphere. Helpful staff. Plenty of activities for throwers and non throwers. After our time was over we hung out and played the giant games and skeeball. BYOB, they will ice it down for you! Definitely getting gift cards for everyone at Christmas.

Got to throw axes at a target for an hour while drinking with friends. I feel like that speaks well enough for itself. 5 stars, easy.

Brought my husband here for his birthday, I cannot throw because of a medical reason. I paid 25 dollars for him to throw which was reasonable but I had to pay 15 dollars just to watch!!! This is unreasonable especially since I cannot throw. He said that there is a charge for when it’s busy but as it is dead quiet on a Wednesday night, it is absolutely ridiculous. Save your money and go to a different location.

Its a great place to have fun but also if you need to get rid of stress, thats the place to go. Sadly cant give it more then five stars because this place is awesome!

I think theyre new and want to give the benefit of the doubt but I was hung up on a total of 3 times when trying to make my reservation with the rep at the Frederick location. First time, I kept saying hello until I was hung up on. Second time, immediately after the first call, he simply ignored my call. Third time, a few minutes after the second call, we were in the process of making my reservation and he hung up on me. I then went to the website and completed my reservation in less than 2 minutes.

This place was fun. BYOB and snacks.
