This is the best park Ive been to and its huge! Plenty of scenic views including waterways, bridges, trails, a variety of mature trees and other vegetation with many different animals to see. Theres also a skate park, a gated dog park, multiple playgrounds for kids, and a waterpark. Plenty of parking, benches for rest stops along the way, covered seating areas and restrooms. Cant get any better!

No haters here, very clean park, BBQ pits, could use more of them! Above all my family had a great outing for the end of our season!

Has skate park. A lot of older kids were there, but they were very patient with us having an 8 yr old. Park was very clean and maintained well. Had a nice time there.

The two bridges and tall make a perfect place for family photos.

Tried biking in this park, there were not many markings on the trails on where to go. The scenery was beautiful and look forward to going back

I took my 6 year old granddaughter here. We went to playgrounds on both sides of the creek, and she had a blast. It had been raining & snowing earlier this week, so some of the slides had standing water on them and there were spots of mud & water, but that cant be helped. They have good mazes & climbing apparatus. Some of the equipment is in need of sprucing up, cleaning & painting, but maybe that will happen in the spring. My only complaint is an overabundance of baby swings and very few standard swings, all but one of which were way too low to the ground.

Beautiful and well kept park with many options of things to do for all ages! and within walking distance of downtown for even more opportunities!

This is a nice park, it floods almost every spring, yet it comes out nice for the summer! Did a photo shoot there, and it came out really nice.

This park is a decent size and has two separate playgrounds, one of which is for smaller children only and is fenced in. There are a few shelters available for rent as well as a beautiful hilltop garden that makes a really pretty space for weddings. The biggest issue is that this park will flood, without fail, whenever it rains.

Great place for reunion

Love our park. It has two great play areas. One for older children one fenced for the young crowd. Many trees to sit under and a good walking path. Very close to the pool so you can do both in a day if you want to! Grounds & equipment are well taken care of. There is also a gazebo and a shelter house!

Absolutely lovely. Great play places for older and younger kinds. The landscaping is beautiful and the walking trails were clean. There is also a fenced off area for dogs to be off their leashes!

Best Town Park Ive ever seen and I travel the states a lot all my life. Go out of your way to see this place. You wont regret it. While youre in town stop off at El Pueblos Mexican restaurant. Youll thank me later

Very nice park. We like to just take a stroll here. Nice playground for kids. Also has a nice little playground for smaller children.

This playground is amazing! They even have the parent & infant combo swings. We had a blast!

We brought a picnic, ate in a gazebo and took a walk on the trail.

Outstanding city park in the middle of Franklin with aquatic and rec centers very near by. With the help of the city, we camped near a shelter and showered in the center. Great experience, wonderful folks, cool town!

Beautiful and clean

Province Park has quite a few different things to choose from. And has been a part of quite a few memories of mine from both childhood and now as an adult! My family used.to have family reunions there and now my kids love to go and play on the playground. My mom and I enjoy the trails and my husband enjoys the variety of things to do. Its centrally located and hives Franklin a beautiful area to host Fourth of July fireworks. Definitely a great value to the city and a place for families to be able to get out and have fun.

Great place to go for a dog walk and let then loose in the dog park. The city of Franklin does a great job of keeping the park looking good!

How to begin? This lovely park in say part of Franklin Indiana. A beautiful little town just South of Greenwood. This park is phenomenal! On top of its very natural beautiful scenery, it also has 3 playground parks to visit, as well as a concrete/metal skate park to visit. Many miles of Trail. Over all very safe feeling.

Nice! Toddler friendly. Fenced in play area. No pet policy within the fencing.. Great for the little ones.

Great wooded city park downtown Franklin! It is along the Greenway trail, short walk from the pool, library, and downtown restaurants. Really in a convenient location. Lots of room to run and play with two playgrounds. A fenced in one and a bigger kid area on the other side of the creek. Its beautiful and shaded so it can provide relief on a hot day.We love to park along the trail and walk here to play for a bit or just drive directly to the park for a picnic. If having a picnic or fun playdate, consider taking a short walk to the Hoosier Cupboard for a scoop of ice cream (located along the railroad tracks on Jefferson). Weve had a lot of fun here with our kids over the years and I remember playing here when I was a kid.Weve had our family pictures taken here 3 years now as well. There are so many places around the park for good photo opportunities. I have also been to several events in the shelter houses for family reunions, bridal showers, etc. Very nice if there will be a lot of kids because theres lots to do, downside would be no AC and exposed to the elements.If you are in the area with kids definitely consider relaxing for awhile here and letting the kids explore. Just keep in mind that the creek and park do flood so stay away if theres been a lot of rain recently. The parks maintenance is always good about cleaning up after a flood though.

Great family park. Very clean, nice little trails. Dogs and I loved it. I wish the dog park werent so expensive or wed go. But all in all, my dogs and I enjoy the trails and creek.

I had a really good time here. Its very clean and tidy. The picnic areas are well kept. The trails meandering back and forth across the water and running along side of it made for wonderful viewing and investigation. Haha. The dog park section looks completely amazing.

This park has been getting updates from spring thru this season. All the flowers have been taken care of and are beautiful. Its peaceful to visit.

Weve rented the creekside pavilion for the past 2 years as our final stop for a motorcycle charity ride. Its reasonably priced, clean and always supplied with trash cans and bags. A huge thanks to the parks department. See ya next year.
