Movie experience was great. Staff could be a bit friendlier. Combos for popcorn+drinks are gone. NO notice about their BS policy of oh btw we dont take A LEGAL TENDER OF CASH at their concession stand. So the cash I brought to pay for popcorn+drinks was useless. Was told my neck gaiter wasnt acceptable; given a mask that did about the same amount of good... All while I walked by people WITH NO MASK, so I guess their mask policy was selectively enforced. But the movie itself was good. Seats were comfortable with a tray that rotated over you so you had a mini take to sit your food on.

I love this theatre! Make sure you are getting reclining seats. Not all theatres have them.

The covid 19 has really put a damper on my fiance and I visits here. However its always a good experience. Concessions brought to your seat, actual food and good drinks. Its awesome.

Mid COVID, family was excited for a dine in escape (since reopening)... Dont do the food! Movie was great, but we had to order dine in with a limited snack bar menu. Since the family had not eating (because we were coming here to eat) we got 2 flats breads (smaller than a personal pan tortilla pizza), mozzarella sticks, churros, a coke, milkshake and one glass of wine, what for it,...$85. Hope this helps, I wish they would have at least let us know before hand:(

Clean theaters, no long line ups. Great hot food and milkshakes in concessions, delivered to our seats. Helpful and friendly staff. Only complaint, they arent doing the gourmet duo popcorn (last three visits).

We saw TENET in the Dolby Cinema theater tonight. The low end and mid level audio was great, but it so overpowering that the dialog was unintelligible. It seemed the lows and mid level was too much, making their speech muddy from the center speakers. The movie is thought provoking enough without being lost because the audio was sub par in this AMC locations premium theater. I have to say I was disappointed considering we paid a premium price for that theater to have a better experience. If you want to hear what cast says in the movie, and also understand it, then don’t see it in the Dolby Cinema Theater. It sounded like some kid messed with the audio to make his iPod sound better while he was cleaning. It was bad enough that I am going to call tomorrow and ask for a refund. I need to see the movie again just so I know what was said. It was like listening to someone speak while your head is covered with a pillow.

We have frequented this theater on many occasions and have dined in at quite a few showings and have enjoyed both our dining and movie experiences. We really miss going to the movies!

Watched Tenet at their Dolby BIG D theater, was by far the worst movie watching experience I’ve ever had from a technical standpoint. It was so loud my wife’s Apple Watch was sending out 94db alerts at every action scene. The dialogue was muddy, couldn’t hear or understand the actors. Waste of my money, I’ll have to watch it again just to hear and understand the dialogue, but not with this theater or their Dolby vision junk.

This is my very favourite movie theatre in the entire country. The Dolby theatre is the best movie theatre in Tennessee. Plus there is also an IMAX movie theatre and 18 other quality theatres as well. And being an AMC Premiere member, I receive special treatment and perks. I highly recommend this movie theatre!!!

I didnt get a chance to do a dine-in movie, maybe next time. It had better seats than most theaters, wide, comfy, didnt feel like I was touching the person next to me. Nice and clean. Many options for food and drinks. Everything seemed spacious when you enter the theater, not claustrophobic. Outside needed to be power washed. Great prices around matinee. I really enjoyed seeing different age groups, everyone seemed like they were enjoying themselves. Easy to navigate.

Was a fun experience and everyone was being safe.

This movie theatre is very nice and well kept. The staff although young are usually very polite, quick and helpful. The only reason I have not decided to rate this place 5 stars is due to the fact that their auto ticket printers do not work when I go in. The food here is very good. You get good portions based on your money spent and the staff does a great job of not interrupting the movie to serve people. All in all AMC put a lot into this place and it shows, we love going here and with the AMC stubs program we go here a lot more of then now.

Have been to the AMC over 5 times since they have done the renovations and we have been extremely pleased. We typically use the dine in theater and treat the kids to lunch/dinner. We have all tried the burger, chicken fingers, desserts, pretzels and of course popcorn. We really like the bucket to bring back again and again. The food in the theater is typically quick and gets to you warm. It is very different to eat in the darkness. I would go back again when the kids ask to return.

The seats dont recline all the way back and up for the legs. Even tho its comfortable. The best thing was the sound and screen in this room. It was exciting and truley an amazing experience. Id like to come back for another adventure movie in this theater. We watched US. A scary thrilling movie.

Took my wife here for our 17 year anniversary. Absolutely the best movie experience I have ever had save the extreme hotness of the theatre. My fault for not saying anything to the hosts (sorry, wife:-)) as I am sure they would have been accommodating. Felt like it should have cost more.Clean, sleek, crisp...the best bar none! I will definitely be going back!!!

It was pretty good. Chairs recline and are very comfortable, movie was great but the food is way overpriced. Movie Tavern has them beat by a mile when it comes to food pricing. The dine-in feature is supposed to encourage you to skip eating out before or after by offering the same menu and pricing as a normal restaurant. When you overcharge, it doesnt change anything. It just becomes a convenience for those who can afford it and people who cant afford it will just go and see the movie as usual like any other theater. Most people in my theater didnt order anything. Its the complete opposite at Movie Tavern. Almost everyone gets a meal/drink. AMC should really take notes because they are losing some serious money. Remember, The goal is to get the people to skip the restaurant and become a one stop shop. Your hamburgers arent worth 15 bucks, especially when I can get a much better hamburger at Red Robin just 5 minutes down the road. Just my two sense.

This is the very first negative review I have ever given. Ever. I love spreading the love and bringing attention to businesses that are giving it their best shot. Unfortunately, AMC Dine-in Thoroughbred deserves none other than a poor review. Im giving 2 stars ONLY because the reclining seats are wonderful.What a shame that when you walk in your first encounter with a representative of the theater is ALWAYS at best very blah, and more often, rude. The ticket counter people at this theater need training. That, and they need to really consider whether a role that entails interaction with the customer is the job for them. A smile would do wonders to start. A greeting of some sort would be amazing.I wont go into any detail re the horrible experiences we have had repeatedly at this theater. I just hope upper management sees this and finally makes an effort to actually train people. This includes on-site management. Its the only theater in town. And it shows.

Nice theater! It’s still under-going renovations (the RealD theater isn’t open anymore, and looks like it’s getting replaced), but the dine-in food is a fun experience! Make sure you register for the AMC Stubs Program. It’s worth paying the annual fee to get the free rewards!

Our first time in a while and as a couple. Scannable tickets are a great add. Easy to get around. Now for our experience after the ticket scan. 30 minutes to get our popcorn and coke. Definitely no supervision with staff at concessions. The facilities was trashy and dirty. Most definitely be looking for another place to watch movies. Service and clean is worth the drive.

This theatre is a joke. If you aren’t used to a quality theatre experience then you may disagree. Both times I visit the movie was not showing in a dine in theatre. I HAVE NEVER been to a dine in theatre where only select theatre are dine in only (problem #1). Problem #2 both times I visited they said technical differences aka being short staff prevented them from allowing us to order hot food from the concession menu.We had to order at a separate bar and come back to pick up our food. The real theatre seats don’t recline. Food is ridiculously expensive. They have a terribly maintained waterfall outside. For such an elite area of Nashville I could not be any more disappointed. This can’t be as good as it get in this city.

Tickets were overpriced but theater had a nice setup.

The theatre viewing room 1 was freezing! By the time we left, I could barely feel my feet. We normally use AMC Spring Hill, and have never been so uncomfortable there. Also, we are A-List participants, and when I go in on the AMC app to order tickets, the AMC Thoroughbred theater is not one of my choices, and when I mentioned that to the teller at the theater, she said, yes we have had other people tell us that. So 2 issues that need fixing.

Cars and coffee here once a month is always fun, not to mention before the movie theater closed it was my go to out of all others.

Nice and clean. Comfortable seating and was able to pick and reserve seats via Fandango. Went during the daytime and it was not busy at all. Not sure what it is like on the weekend or evening times. If you are looking to catch a movie during the day I highly recommend 9

Worst movie experience ever!!!! Waited in line for 20 minutes to get tickets as there was only one person working the ticket counter. Once at the counter I asked for 5 tickets to a show and was told it was sold out. I asked when was the next available and she told me not for another 6 hours. Needless to say she did not know my wife was in line as well and the family in front of her, once they got to the counter was able to get tickets to the same show and had not purchased online. Not fair! I will never come to this theatre again. And I will let others know of my experience

Have become AMC Stubs members now and its fully worth it if you enjoy going to the movies. Has allowed us to go see things we likely wouldnt have paid separately to go see. The Dolby theater is BY FAR the best option. The IMAX is good. The Dine in theaters are great also but the food is only average and pricey. Some of the Digital theaters are grungy / need updating. Also, most people cant or dont see the isle markings on the carpet. AMC please fix that, everyone is always trying to find out where their isle is but dont know how to and weve noticed its a majority of people that attend.

If the chicken strip meal wasn’t $19.99 I would give them higher stars, but the food pricing is ridiculous and it makes you want to eat out before you get there. The server was also rude and needs customer service training. On the bright side, the theater was clean, the seats are nice and the chipotle chicken flatbread was pretty tasty.

This is definitely my favorite theater. Always very cleaned and well maintained. Great venue and lots of great food and snack options.

Bathrooms not stocked with soap or paper towels. Drink machines absent of most choices.

Food was good, seat was very comfortable. The person who took my order was nice but the one who brought it out did not bring flatware, napkins or ketchup for my French fries. I was more than halfway through my burger and fries before I could get someone to bring those. The first person I asked to bring it just didnt do it. Finally I pushed the button and the nice girl who initially took my order brought napkins, ketchup and flatware.

One stop for dinner and a movie, and the menu has a large choice of items to cater to everyone, endless soda and mixed drinks are also available. The chairs are so much more comfortable in all the theaters, but the ones with the recliners are the best. It will not be an inexpensive evening but the food at theaters never are.

This is one of the better theaters Ive ever been too. The seats are amazing, the theaters are always clean, and the sound and picture quality is top notch. When i want to see something, Ill drive the half hour away to come here - its a great spot!

I didnt understand how the dine-in worked so I didnt get to experience that. The concession counter person we had was extremely rude - not at all helpful. The movie was very good, great picture and sound quality.

Went to this place two years ago, so IDK what the current situation is like. I remember my experience being awesome. The place was clean, the assigned (you pick, just like a concert) seats comfortable. Table service was prompt and friendly. Decent enough variety of food to eat. Id definitely recommend. Ive since moved it wed have been back.

Love this theater. They have reclining seats in some and I love the self serve fountain drinks and butter for your popcorn.

Went on sunday and tried the dine in theater for the first time. Chairs were nice and comfy, food was decent but the most alarming was the cleanliness of the seats. Caramel popcorn stuck in the cupholder, dirty eating tray with what looked to be milkshake, and (not pictured) found a chicken wing in my seat. Gross to say the least

I enjoyed the movie theater dining in experience. I would prefer the chairs to be bigger and remote controlled to go up or down. Liked it.

I wish this was a higher rating but based on the service, its a solid 1.5. Took 25 minutes to even be able to place an order. Then everything came out super slow and all at once. Refills were forgotten and the service button stayed on nearly the entire movie. It ended up being $100 for subpar food and non alcoholic drinks for 3 people. Save your money and just see a regular movie.

Saw new Star Wars movie with family for Christmas. Nice clean theater and was neat to see characters from the movie in the lobby!

Seat are good but unless you pay their monthly subscription you will wait 20 -30 min for a water. Oh and water is $10 for 2 small bottles. Lastly they promote hot food and every time I have been it’s been unavailable.

Can order food from your recliner seats at the push of a button. Food is a bit pricey but quality is 4/5 stars which is not bad for a movie theater. Service is slower but not surprising since everyone is trying to place orders during the trailers. Overall, happy with the unique experience.

Concessions seems to have developed difficulty with consistent offerings. Its becoming a rare occasion to be able to order hot dogs or pizzas most nights. Cleanliness at the drink stations is becoming a serious issue. I usually go around to a station near the IMAX auditorium where its cleaner. Having someone come through and clean the drink stations every hour or so would be exceedingly helpful.

Drove 30 miles just to come here. Best seating around! With the dine in option, this place is a date night rolled into one! I will update once I see a movie in IMAX here!

We attempted to order food at concession stand as states in website only to be told to order at our seats. There were 2 wait persons who ran around and never approached us. Their system for taking orders should be better than having two people running up and down to place orders. Wat before you fo.

This movie theater has come a long way. From its renovation a couple year ago to the many ways you can experience a movie! IMAX, dining in, surround sound. Really great place. Good deals if youre an AMC member.

Loved the new Star Wars movie. Theatre needed to be vacuumed, no lids for medium drinks & the ladies room need the trash emptied. Nice place, but clearly needed some attention.

Its okay, just not that great. At first I really liked their dine-in theater. Being able to enjoy a movie for once. Rather than the original auditorium. Just wish my experience could be better next time. Ive had some good and not so good experiences with the dine-in. I rarely go to this theater. Due to being overly priced movie tickets. Customer Service is pretty decent. Prices for food and drinks can be very expensive. Wish there were better deals on movies & combos.

You can sell food, liquor & expensive popcorn, but if it aint clean, its nasty.This very simple concept is what will most likely lead to the demise of going to the movies.Plus, after waiting in line & watching screen after screen of hot food, I showed up to the nasty counter & was told they were not serving hot food.

Comfy seating. Okay sound and picture.It was just dirty the floor was dirty....and I mean disgustingly dirty, from the point we walked in the door all the way into the theater seating. I am an AMC Stubs member. Remodeled, reclining seats and both IMAX and Big D. Concessions are pricy. The food served at your seat is actually good and a great drink menu.

Horrible service. You have people just walking around behind the counter and can take ten minutes to get your food. Drinks always taste flat. Lobby is often smoking from burned popcorn so if you have any breathing issues.. Avoid. As for the dine in service. You dont get waited on. Servers seen as clueless as they are at the lobby. Wandering aimlessly. You almost always have to flag sometime to get waited on. And foods bad... And In there drinks are tiny.

Most of your Staff last nite dont even know what they are doing. Most of them were rude and didnt even try and help. One sweet Red Headed young lady was sweet and helpful. The Rest need to go. Embarrassing!

Our movie was great! However the theater was FREEZING. This is the beginning of December and people had coats and hats on the entire time. In addition, it took us a long time to find our row that we purchased online. The letters are marked on the floor, in the carpet. Why not have them on the chairs or lit up somewhere? We will continue seeing our movies in Green Hills or 100 Oaks.

Absolutely beautiful theater. Friendly atmosphere .My son and I traveled 31/2 hours to watch a movie in Franklin Tennessee it was our first time visiting and everything we hope for. We most definitely will visit again soon. Thank you too the entire staffing you made our visit wonderful. Thank you.

I went to see avengers endgame in IMAX and everything was fast in smooth.

Very good experience. Saw 1917 in the Dolby theater and it was awesome. Read some other reviews and did not experience any service related issues although it was Sunday at Noon and was not busy at all.

Very slow lines - never enough staff - filthy bathrooms - I arrived 20 minutes early and was 12 minutes late to my movie because they took their sweet time!!

Nicely renovated theatre. All theaters are way overpriced these days, but this one is incredibly expensive for the area. Thank goodness for a-list. Would avoid the dining experience. The food is mediocre and often wrong. Hard to correct the middle of a movie. Oh, did I say its expensive?

Horrible valentines day experience. Went in at 7pm and ordered food in the dining area for a movie that started at 8pm. Left at 9pm after my husband missed most of our movie waiting almost 2 hours on the food.

The actual theaters were great. The chairs were comfortable, and the screen was properly calibrated.The in-house bar and restaurant had a good selection of drinks, but the food choice was quite limited. The food itself was not good at all.

Very disappointed. The movie tickets & concessions are both very pricey. The theater didnt have heated or reclining seats & are very close together. Movie quality was good.

The Dolby Cinema screen here is phenomenal with the best picture and sound in the whole state (Tennessee).... When it actually works that is. We have unfortunately now had multiple instances where there were issues with the projectors. When I pay $20 for a movie ticket, make baby-sitter arrangements, and drive 45 minutes, my expectation is a flawless presentation. We have had the projectors shut off completely in the middle of a movie before (Avengers: End Game). Today we were excited to catch the 20th Anniversary release of The Matrix in the awesome Dolby Cinema format only to be severely disappointed when I realized one of the projectors was out (Dolby Cinema setup uses dual laser projectors). After talking with management they knew one of the projectors was not working and did not say anything since it still looked pretty good It did not in fact look pretty good or even any good. You cannot take away one of the two projectors in the Dolby Cinema format and get a good image.It ruined the experience as the picture was so bad I did not want to even watch the movie that way, so we just left. We were offered a refund, but its still time lost, a babysitter, and frustration. If they can get the quality control improved, this is THE place to see a movie, otherwise, dont bother.

Visiting Nashville and decided to see Lion King while we are here but the theater experience here was piss poor at best. Pretty disappointed with the sound quality in the theater for a movie on release weekend youd expect to get premium sound especially at these prices. What made it worse was the theater was hot and humid it seemed like the AC was struggling to do something. Its 100 degrees outside and you go to the movies to cool off but not at this one its like a sweat box. The staff was awesome and the Mango Icee was cold but I decided if this is the AMC standard I will stick with Regal, at least I know I get some AC there and I get to recline. $100 dollar night feels wasted.

Convenient location. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for a pre movie drink or a post movie bite. It is annoying how the AMC stubs members get to skip the concessions line when ordering.

Really great place to come for date night or family movie night - in the dine in theater! The food isnt bad and service is very friendly and timely! I would suggest getting there about 15min early to get seated and your food/drink order in, before the movie starts!

Nicely renovated recently, but bathrooms could definitely be maintained better. Some staff are wonderful and give great customer service in the dine-in theater. Needs better clean up between shows. (I sat in a chair that had melted sticky candy down the side.) Just disappointed when asking for a refill in the collector tin, and was refused even when I offered to pay for it.

Good Theatre, bad food. We didn’t enjoy dining. It took an hour to have our meals. We ordered southern chicken tenders which was so salty and dry. Dining was expensive as well. Movies should leave dining business to the restaurants.

Dinner and a movie sounded great, but then not one employee knew what movies came with dinner, then find out no dinners only lunches, disappointed we went to get some food at the counter instead, then told we only have hotdogs and popcorn. At 5pm thats ridiculous.

Loved the AMC A-list membership until regal launched regal unlimited. 2 reason I drop the amc a-list 1. Show ID every time I checkin for a movie and 2. They don’t show Bollywood/Hindi movies in Nashville/TN

Disappointed with the fact not all the speakers were being used on theater 10. Ordered a flatbread pizza. Someone else ordered wings beside us. It took twice as long for our pizza and ordered before the guy beside us. Overall. I enjoy this theater very much, its why Im willing to put up with it all. At the end of it, I give 4 stars. As it has some minor set backs at times. But the experience is definitely worth every penny spent.

This place is an epic disaster of management & customer service... Their ability to actually make hot food is as rare as an ice cube in the self-serve soda machines. You can get through a pack security checkpoint at BNA faster than you can get through the concessions line... Unless you pony up for VIP access which will cut your wait down to 15mins. And if only a few of the theaters have Dine In ability, then name your place AMC maybe Dine In?? Thankful for a great movie... Unfortunately it cant overcome another horrible experience.

You can order food from the theater and theyll bring it to you. Great experience - comfortable and many auditoriums. The only negative is that they wont layer the popcorn with butter.

Love the seating. Recliner with ample leg space and partitions between you and the next row. Prompt service. And pretty darn good food for a movie theater. Definitely plan on going here again, again, and again
