I love going here. I did not feed the ducks this time but saw others doing so. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Very fun and safe place to take the kids. Parking fills up quickly so its hit or miss to get a parking spot near the pond. I highly recommend going!!!!
Great little walking pond for family or for you and your furry friends. Ive also had professional pictures taken here, the scenery in spring and autumn is phenomenal.
Its a beautiful place to take a child for a walk or even just a stroll with a friend or loved one. In our case today we had my 4 year old great niece and she loved it! A wonderful way to enjoy time with family and tire out a little one.
Beautiful place to visit ... Great big hill to slide down if you have a child like heart .
Hi there, I have summarised about the Trinity park for the first time visitors, hope its helpful.* Nice trail park located very close to I-35 and is located in Forthworth Downtown. Nearby attractions if you are planning for a day are Forthworth Water gardens/Sundance square & Forthworth Stockyards.* Do carry water bottles as there are not much water fountains nearby*Ample parking is available but weekends and holidays might get crowded so arrive early to grab a spot.*Kindly be courteous to birds and others and dont overfeed them. If you wanna take pic with ducks, stay grounded near the pond, the ducks shall cross by.*Biking trails are available around the river park*Theres an sot where you can cross the Trinity river through rocks, extend caution as some of them are slippery.Hope you have nice time around the park.#HappyVacation
I have been visiting the duck pond area since 1973, always a great spot to relax and watch birds or turtles. Very shady and pleasant even during hot Texas summer days.
Not very well maintained it seemed to be neglected but the park it self was ok. And there is a beautiful view of Downtown after the sun goes down from the hills near the pond.
Kids love it we are regulars there weve been going for 10 + years its got everything for all ages plus ice cream almost every trip love how they upgrade the park understanding its a popular spot
Great spot to feed the ducks and geese. When I googled places to fish in Fort Worth, this pond came up on the list. Unfortunately there is a sign that says no fishing. Otherwise its still a cool spot to check out.
Quiet setting with great backdrops for taking pictures. We were there on a Saturday and there were other families here with plenty of space to be friendly and practice social distancing.
Such dirty water. Depressing. And hoardes of angry loud squawking geese are scary. Nice location but they need to clean it up.
First visit with grandson. We saw ducks, turtles, and lots of families. Perfect weather.
Amazing park with lots of amenities. We parked right across from the duck pond and noticed the cardboard on the hill. At first we thought it was little, but nope, we noticed the worn paths on the hill and realized this is sledding Texas style. We walked along the duck pond and saw lots of birds, ducks, and turtles. We walked way down to the miniature train and took a ride through the park. Great place for picnics as well.
Trinity park in Ft Worth is a great place to relax, walk your dog or sit and watch and feed the ducks and geese.
The Trinity Park Duck Pond has been a family tradition of ours since I was a small child. Im 45 years old and have continued the tradition of enjoying this park with my sons, who are now in their late teens, since they were babies. If your strapped for cash or just want to spend some quality time with your babies bring them on down to the duck pond and enjoy the ducks and the steep hills. Youll be glad you did! I highly recommend this place.
I came here on a summer weekend in the afternoon, and brought picnic snacks. Its relaxing to be close to the ducks and to watch them....be ducks. Dress comfortably and bring plenty to drink because there is a lot to see (even besides the duck areas). I wish I worked near a place like this to unplug and recharge on a lunch break. #nature
Kinda dirty. Not a whole lot to do, but relaxing and a good place to take kids to see ducks and turtles
Walked my rescue dogs at Trinity Park Duck Pond. So peaceful and quiet. Weather was perfect and lots of space to walk. Duck Pond is always beautiful ️ If you visit bring duck food to feed them. They get very vocal when someone feeds them.So Much Fun !!! Me and my rescues will be back soon️
The kids always enjoy going to see the ducks and geese but it is very sad to see how poorly people take care of their public spaces.
I remember this place from my youthter years. It was smaller and not so dirty. The pond is what Im talking about. Te park was great. Not crowded but only one grill for4 tables. Dont know what happened to the others. Budget cuts???
This place is really nice. Lots of ducks and geese.
Its a nice place to visit to relax in a good & fresh environment.
Beautiful duck pond. Good walking areas. And great place to sit and enjoy.
I love going to the duck pond when Im in town and have some spare time to waste
Great for working out, jogging or just relaxing.
Pond hasnt been taken care of, is dirty and wildlife is dying due to that
The kids always love feeding the ducks
Nice and shady. Pefect place for lunch in the park.
We had such a great time today. Family fun.
Nice park, shady. Ducks and geese everywhere.
Lots of wood ducks which always makes me happy. Pond is getting choked with duckweed and could use some removal.
No doubt this is a 5 star place, but they drained the pond for cleaning when we went. Surprisingly, there were still a decent few ducks and geese.
Ive loved this place for all 63 years of my life!
Perfect place for the whole family!! I highly recommend it.
Nice place. Ducks and geese are used to humans being around. If your phone falls in the water, let it stay there...
Very pretty place. Dog friendly
Came here for a date and feed the ducks. Super cute
It is usually good but now today it was so dirty the ducks didnt I wanna go in to much trash dirty pond and they were dead turtles.
Best park in FWT
There were, as the name implies, lots and lots of ducks and geese. Unfortunately there was also a lot of trash all over the place as well.
Very beautiful, peaceful and something for the family
The duck pond is a fun place to bring the kids and let them feed the swans and ducks that nest there
Good place to go bike riding, walking or have a picnic
Went there for a branding photo shoot. Great spot!!
Great place to bring children!!!
Anyone know what happened to all.the geese that were there a little over a year ago? We had a favorite guy and now we miss him!:(
Ducks were great and friendly. Our little boy was feeding them and they were talking to us. They were wonderful!
Ducks are nice.
We love to come here and enjoy the ducks!
I love this place, its super relaxing to just visit have a sit and look at the animals.Which by the way DO NO EAT BREAD! Bread is bad or ducks so please stop feeding them bread.
We took the dog out for a walk. She bolted like lightning try to catch a squirrel. We got a big kick out of it. Just nice to get out in the nature for a bit. Real serine we had a good time.
Always have fun taking the kids to see the ducks and geese.
Ducks and birds seem hungry, water need cleaning
Pretty neat place to walk around have kids scooter around the side walk.
Nice little park to unwind..
If youre looking for ducks, theyve got them. Nice and shaded.
Love this park to relax and feed the ducks some bird seed in my extra time. The trees add nice shade.
My nephew never gets tired of feeding the ducks bird seed. Great place to ride a scooter and check out the area.
The duck pond is very dirty and the ducks wouldnt even get in the water.
Nice day at the Duck pond
I want a great time
This is the best place for you to go if you need peace....
What a nice Sonday fun day today. Great cookout and fun in the sun!
This is awesome little duck pond in trinity park if you have kids I highly recommend taking them. You can also feed the ducks at the pond which is pretty cool.
I love coming here just to escape and find peace you can keep walking the trails and find more peaceful areas but the ducks are beautiful to admire. Feed them seeds not bread
Nice and peaceful walk/scenery. It also helps that Chueys is across the street.
Awesome place. Took my son there with a bag a bread, and fed ducks and geese. The duck stay in the water. But the geese will walk up to you and eat the bread from your hand.
Love the ducks plz help feed them when you can
Very relaxing
Its relaxing and calm. A good place to walk or bike around for exercise, or just go to see the ducks compete for some bread.
30 years going to this place. Love it
Kids love feeding the ducks; geese wander right up. Lots of shade, relaxing.
Huge duck pond. Do not feed the ducks bread. Bread is not good for ducks and will eventually malnourish them. Grab some seed or bring broccoli. Wonderful views, great ducks and geese. You will love the path circling the pond with benches scattered nicely all around . Great for family outings and photo ops.
A good place to come and chill. You can feed the ducks, but they frown upon you grilling them right next to the pond.
Loved this place! US Health Advisors went here in order to contribute to the community. Walked around picking up trash for a few hours. Mario Garay US Health Advisors.
Cool, natural. No swimming, no fishing. Plenty of ducks..
