Its a great place for the family to come out and swim, bbq & picnic (there are grills and picnic tables available). The tables are pretty much all shaded which is awesome. I dont know if they rent boats there or if you can only take your own. But for sure there are docks. Boats are definitely allowed and so is swimming

Good place for family swim time. They added a parking lot barrier for a 140 yrd haul to the water so bring a wagon or a golf cart if u have one. Also get there early for parking on weekends.

The family loves this place. Great little park to hang out under the trees, bbq, float in the water and just relax.

By the nice lake Worth, Its like small beach in Mediterranean. Only thing should improve is public bathroom.

Ive taken my kids here to fish and liked it because the game warden station is so close but lately Ive noticed more of a vagrant group moving in and less presence of the game warden or sheriffs department.

Its alright.. Dont understand why there is a 9:30 or 10p.m. closing time when the boat club right next door stays open till whenever, and under the 820 bridge people can stay out there all nite long.Also, why Not just prohibit glass containers and public display of alcohol rather than alcohol all together.... Whatever.. I only came here because my apartment complex never opened our pool all summer because of Cov.19..

Such a great spot clean friendly folks taking there kids down to explore and /or fishing. wasnt loud music playing like at alot of the other ones! I wish I wouldve taken pictures but I was just living in the moment. I will have to go get some!!

Very clean and not too crowded. Didnt catch any fish but it was a great time with the family.

No running water restroom available and porter potty was knocked over unable to be used. Over all nice quiet place to fish and enjoy relaxing time away.

Free Parking!!! No beach front, just grass into the lake. Tables, bathroom and just a fun place to get some lake time in.

We fished and the grand kids went swimming. Good fun.

Absolutely my favorite place! Always fun with a gorgeous view.

Believe the walk down from the small parking area is a little much. Especially with chairs, floats, ice chest, kids, etc. The parking area is extremely small and always overcrowded.

Used to be awesome you used to be able to tailgate with your family have a good time but now you have to carry any picnic stuff are any swim toys and towels and whatnot a quarter-mile from a little tiny parking lot and I dont recall the people who live in the area of voting on not allowing us anymore to go down to the water in our vehicles like we have for the past 8 years Ive lived here..

Lovely lake, deserted when we were there, except for three different bird species.

The parking was convenient and the grounds were decently clean and mowed. There is a port-a-pottie right by the parking lot which was very convenient and clean.

This could be a nice park. I appreciate that its free. But entrance fees should be considered. Perhaps guests would be responsible for their debris, dog poop and follow the general rules. We visited July 5th. The park was cluttered with garbage from fireworks, beer boxes - cans & bottles (no alcohol allowed in park?). A sign posted doesnt generally force thugs to follow the rules. There was a water balloon fight taking place while we were playing in the water. Hundreds of broken balloon pieces left for the fish to choke on. There was a group of folks there having a good time... Loud, drunk & not only verbally offensive, a bit scary... Out of concern, I advise open carry.Will not be back.

Great launch ramp free parking but you need to pay to launch, it gets busy in the summer. Yearly pass is available at the store right up the street its $20 a year for out of town residents and cheaper if you live here. There is a port-a-potty on site.

Beautiful overlook of Lake Worth and The Base. Nice trails mostly for mountain bikers though a little trashy.

It sucks now because the Gated it off where you cant drive your car down close to the water which makes it a long walk especially when you have fishing poles and chairs and kids and everything else wont be going to this park anymore
