This is a special place. It is spacious and you feel the space that’s tucked within a big city - and you can feel and see the beauty all around. The play structure isn’t as covered and shaded so it can be properly enjoyed throughout the day, but was still enjoyable.I really appreciated the marking on the path to let you know the distances you walked/ran/biked.It really was be

The city could definitely add more trees to this park. A lot of it is covered by maintained grass. But otherwise it is a nice size has some nice concrete paths and a playground.

Good local park with a very smooth and gradual downhill sidewalk. Great place for kids to play or learn to ride bikes/scooters/ skates. Plenty of open space and a cool pond at the bottom of the aforementioned incline.

Daughter-in-law went to Mallard Cove Park around 4:30pm today. She went for a run. When she returned to her car, the rear door window was smashed in and her purse was stolen. Based on glass in a couple other parking spaces, this wasn’t the first time it’s been done. Her purse was stolen by two black men according to witnesses. They drove a dark sedan and were parked outside the parking lot at the end of the road, just watching. They broke the window with a tire iron. Their picture was taken on a camera from across the street and the police now have it. Keep your eyes open for a vehicle like this. As I said, it looked like this has been done more than once before. I would guess they will continue do this until they are caught.

Wow! Very nice and clean park! A beautiful pond with walkways to take a lovely walk or run. A fairly good size kids play area along next to a covered table area. Love that they provide benches all around and even big stones to sit by the pond! Theres a massive stone oval table to sit at. You can bring your leashed dogs but absolutely no alcohol beverages which makes it a perfect family area to go to!! We took our son to fly his kite and was great area to do that! This will definitely be our spot to go have some outdoor fun!!

Nice park, hidden gem! Has ample paved walking as well as open fields. A large pond, plenty of very old pecan trees. It was peaceful with not many people around. I saw signs of a beaver and a collection of ducks in the water.

Love this park. Lots to see in the pond and marsh. Theres always cranes and ducks plus tons of people fish here. Theres tons of trees but not enough shade and the path floods after a good rain. Wish the loop was longer too. I would love to see it go around the other pond.

A very nice, uncomplicated park. They have a nice, gigantic natural stone slab, when you go through a particular entrance, which is shrouded by trees, and it seems great for ritual sacrifice. They also have tables, and a nice pond/lake.Its a very chill area, and often quite green!

Got my car window shattered and my belongings stolen. They took my purse and used my card to pay for their purchase. Its beautiful park nevertheless but there are thieves lingering around. Beware! I notice there are shattered classes all around the parking lot. I realize now why there are cops posted by this park. Not safe at all

This is a gorgeous park, really beautiful. The trails are long, paved, and theres a small playground. Theyre benches everywhere to sit down on and a cool rock table near the pond. There are no ducks here when I arrived but the pond to seems to be very long and they are maybe at the other end. I would give it 4 stars if there were more trees shading the trail itself. The only reason Im giving it three stars is because there is a porta-potty and not permanent restrooms. If it had decent restrooms this would almost be a Five Star Park for wanting to walk around easily, in a beautiful area.

First impression: An abandoned? older white F-150 sitting in the parking lot that was orange stickered, jacked on 3 blocks with tires and wheels gone. Sketchy types coming in and out of the parking lot during the short time I was here. Im sure the park is great and Id like to fish here but my thinking is its a crime scene waiting to happen. Theres a decent housing subdivision that butts up close to the parking area but overall this place seems very big, very isolated and that youre very vulnerable without carrying protection or an aggressive dog. No thanks!!

This park is wonderful! Theres a 1/2 mile cement walking path, a large pond in the middle with a long rock table along side it. Other large rocks are spread around the edge of the pond also to sit on while fishing or just enjoy some quiet time. All around the pond and the whole park are huge pecan trees! Snack while you visit!. The park is borded by large trees and brushy shrubs which all make for good birding. There are large open areas to run with your dog or children. Nice paved parking lot with Porta Potties. On the entrance road leading to the parking lot is a soccer field and playground. Go have a good time!

Recently discovered this place close by, and I love it! Probably the nicest, least active place close to me to walk my pack. The circuit is an easy, beautiful mile. Usually serene and peaceful with few people. Most active on weekends. Please remember to bring bags to pick up your dogs poo! Ive been bringing extra cause I occasionally find others havent picked up after their fuzzy ones. Keep this hidden gem nice for everyone!

I love how large and isolated this park feels. It has a playground, some portable toilets and a small parking lot. The neighborhood nearby is very quiet and I hardly see many people out here any time I go. Sometimes you can hear buzzing from the aero modelers flying a few hundred feet away, but its not an issue. The walking path is extensive enough that you can get a pretty good workout in one lap. The ponds and trees are amazing too. I like to visit parks during my lunch break. Some parks in the middle of the day give me the vibe that I could be jumped at any moment. This one is nice and secure; a great place to visit for some solitude or to play with the kids.

Beautiful QUIET park. We love to take the kids here to ride bikes and scooters on the paved trail, which is down in a little meadow. There is also a small pond that I have seen some people fishing in. You will see few people here since its rather off the beaten path. There is also a playscape area close to the parking lot up top before you walk down to the open meadow area. There are some benches off of the paved trail for relaxing. Ive never seen more than 3 cars in this parking lot at a time. Portable restrooms are located in the parking lot and everything is ADA accessible.

A nice park with a pond and some paved trails to walk on. Whats weird is its a pretty big area, but it seems like they only upkeep a very small portion of it. I get that it probably costs too much to mow all of it, but they could at least make a dirt trail through all the tall grass. If you are willing to fight through nature, and I mean REALLY fight (think briars and all other manner of thorny, pokey plants) there are some extremely beautiful, and rewarding views of the trinity river. If you are crazy enough to try, or just smart and attempt it in the colder months after the thorny things die, head towards the west where the river bends (on your google maps).

Park itself is nice but everytime I take my dogs for a walk someone always has dogs off leash making it less enjoyable since I have to avoid the area they are. There are signs posted multiple places saying dogs must be on leash and no one follows that it seems like.

This is one of my favorite parks, it is a Fort Worth Park and the majority of it does lye on a floodplain which is primarily just a walking Track with a few trash cans and benches the upper half has a Pavilion and playground with some handicap parking and some general parking its fairly secluded from the street but open view of the park theres not many Street lamps or overhead lights at the park so it gets dark fairly quick.

Good park for running or walking dog, track is just short of a fifth mile loop if I remember correctly. Good for taking some time for yourself or maintaining run. Pond with ducks, cliff to Trinity River. New play area for kids in upper portion of park. Lower end of park not a good park for unaccompanied young children. Center of park intended as flood overflow area so be aware of recent weather.

This is a wonderful park for being out in nature. Theres large rocks around the pond for seats for enjoying some peaceful fishing. Theres a huge, flat rock table with rock chairs for a picnic. Trees ring the pond which in winter have several species of duck enjoying the water. Lots of open space to view grassland birds and large trees ring thr property to view woodland sparrows in winter and spring migratory passerines. No manmade structures to give you a total nature experience. Theres also a separate area for some soccer or pitching a ball back and forth. Easy in and out parking area.
