The young lady at gate 1 was ABSOLUTELY great! Our popcorn came to the car and it was still warm. Lastly our movie sound and view was wonderful!
We’ve been here several times over the last few months. The price is great for a family to have a fun night. The food is movie-theater expensive, but we usually buy something to help support the theater. The backdrop of the Ft. Worth skyline really makes for a wonderful experience.
It was a great COVID date! The movie screen was perfect, BBQ sandwich delicious, bathrooms clean. Nobody told the jerks who had their lights on to turn them off, but my husband told one truck to and I told a car beside us to turn their lights off. Which they did without any pushback saying they didnt realize their lights were on.
First time visiting, thanks to the manager for hooking me up with some free tickets. I will definitely be back! Movie was extremely clear unlike other drive ins I have been too. Plus they have an extensive menu for food.
The food is HORRIBLE. Gas station microwave burgers. Total waste of money for anything outside of admission. People were hardly wearing masks walking around, people smoking around us and it stunk, no lighting at all so its hard to see from time gates open to when movie starts- cant see anything. Didnt get all items ordered. Total disappointment and have been there a couple times.
Love going to see movies here! I’m even more grateful that Coyote Drive-In was around and in business this year despite our circumstances. It was a lifesaver several times over the spring and summer when practically everything was shut down! Thank you!!!! ️
Loved my experience here. The people working were very nice. Candace got me some fantastic popcorn right as they were closing the snack stand. I found it odd that they closed the snack stand so early. There isn’t an intermission so go get your snacks right when you get there. Also make sure you allow enough time before your movie to get in. They have about five lines going to get people in but it can still take awhile so maybe try to plan on being there 30 minutes prior to get in and get your snacks. The picture quality and sound was great. They have four screens and you can buy tickets using the app which is really easy and convenient. I would like to see them open up an express lane for people that bought their tickets on the app. One other small complaint I have is the amount of people sitting in the back of their vehicles with the hatchback up. They were everywhere and it was had to find a spot not being blocked. I know that this is somewhat out of their control but maybe some more signs and some enforcement could help remedy this. It was really nice to see a movie again. I’m thinking we will be back soon.
Beautiful location. Speedy entry. Great staff. And when my boyfriends phone fell out of his pocket and we didnt notice it was missing until the place was already closed, the owner helped us find it himself. Super nice guy! 10/10 recommend
Great.movie ace and friendly staffOnly down side is cars allowed park to close.to each other (barely get my door open), and non enforcement of having your hatch back tied down which then blocks screen for other cars.
Everything was great, it was an amazing experience! The only negative was that there was NO SOCIAL DISTANCING enforced at all. We felt extremely uncomfortable. There were signs saying masks were required and luckily most people were wearing them, but in the lines there were no markers and nobody making sure people were maintaining 6ft+ distance. If that was improved, this spot would be 100% perfect.
No rule enforcement at all made this a less than perfect visit. Movie was great, food was pretty good, but the way they allow people to park is laughable at best.
Great experience all around. Ive been to other drive ins with all sorts of issues from bad audio transmission to poor service etc etc. Not a single issue here. Place was spotless, staff was awesome and very helpful, and the movie was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to relax a bit in your own vehicle and still get out and about amongst the craziness we currently live in. A++
What a date night location! How have we lived here for so long and never knew this place was here?! This whole experience was awesome and it brought back a flood of childhood memories. We were caught off guard by how many people cannot follow simple directions, but the staff addressed it fairly quickly in all situations. Multiple screens with multiple movies draws a decent crowd, but once the films started you almost forget you are surrounded by hundreds of people. Screen 4 fights the lights from their driveway, but lay your seat back and forget about it. They do a great job with clarity for outdoor projectors and the views before the film are an event within themselves. Looking forward to the next round of movies to head back out there.
Drive in movie is always great. Sometimes it seem the movie should be just a little brighter. You cant control other people with their car lights but seem like they take their sweet time turning them off for the main feature, so patience is required for that. Social distancing is observed at the food stand. Good job with that.
Live the classic drive in atmosphere. Bar is good. Food is kinda poor.
We always have so much fun. It is a great family activity during these times.
Great date night, great vibes, over fun place to be duirng COVID.
Enjoyed the movie and the concessions. Everything was clean.. I would give it 5 stars, but other patrons are quite rude by turning their head lights on during the movie. Its is still hot so maybe the wanted to run the air. Then what a person with common sense would do is turn off their headlights. Why should people get out of their cars to tell you to turn off your lights. I know you knew they were on, because the screen got bright. Just a selfish person who only care about themselves. Im 50 and havent been to a drive in in over 30 years. I was excited, but you ruined it. You need to stay home so others can have a great experience.
The concession stand staff are extremely rude. One young lady couldn’t slow down enough to take my order correctly. When asked to make the correction she stated mouthing off that she took the order correctly. I started walking away and she felt the need to continue to mouth off. I went to the manager and explained the situation. He apologized and said he would talk to her for me. I said he showed talk to her for himself because she might be losing him business. He then mouthed off that I don’t need to tell him how to do his job.I won’t becoming back.
This was my first time I got to go to a drive in. Enjoyed the movie... Christmas Vacation!
Cool experience, just get there early because it fills up quick. There are 4 theaters that show different movies all around the same time. It wasnt overly crowded, but the good spots get taken up. Dont make the mistake I did and park in front. It would probably be ok if you had a truck, but in my suv we couldnt see all the screen because the tailgate, so we moved up one row and we were good. We took our kids carseats out and they sat in those while we laid down with the tailgate opened. They will deliver food to your car and if you want alcohol you can walk to the bar. Take a mask otherwise they wont let you in the bathroom or in line for anything. Which I agree with. They are awesome at it. Saw a worker stop a lady from going in the bathroom... A+
Really nice drive in. Easy to get in and out. I wish there was more room per parking space so we could safely put out lawn chairs and listen outside of our car.
We went to the comedian Nate Bargatzes live show. A drive-in comedy special was a great use of the space during the pandemic. Everyone was isolated to their own group in their vehicle but nothing was lost on the comedy. At times it was like watching one of his Netflix specials on a TV at home with my wife but still with some live event atmosphere. You could sort of hear others laughing but particularly good bits were met with light taps on horns and brief headlight flashes. The audio comes through your radio so these small bursts of car horns did not interrupt or take from the show. I was also pleased to see how serious they took mask wearing in the public area. It was an amazing breath of fresh air to see how through cooperation and attention there are still ways to enjoy a show, grab a beer and a barbecue sandwich, all while maintaining proper safety protocols. Nate Bargatze and his troupe were especially great as well. His father, a professional magician, had a pre-recorded bit leading into Mr. Bargatze performance that had me in tears as well as impressed by his magic. Get that man a YouTube channel tomorrow. And a good time was had by all...
Excellent service.Gatlin was an exemplary employee. He went above and beyond our car ran out of gas and he helped us put gas in the car and made sure everything was good and that we are safe.He is a top employee and a great person.
Id rate higher if they had a better way of controlling lines in and out. If you go for a special event they have signs but you cant see them at back of line. When you leave there is no order, no guidance to get out.Right now they also tell people to wear masks outside their vehicles. But it is not enforced.Lastly people will not park correctly and none of the staff will correct them. Some vehicles will take up 2 spots and never move.
Horrible experience.me and my buddy were there to watch metallica drive in encore. Its metallica of course your gonna have a couple of beers. We had our first round after about 30 mins. We went for our 2nd. Then again after 30 mins. We went for a 3rd round. They claimed that since one of us is driving that they cant serve us and that the other people can halve one more beer. Then theyre cut off too. Since when has this become a thing? We had no alcohol in our system showing up before hand. We were as clam as you can be ordering beer. But we got treated like we were the drunks of the drive inn. The service was so horrible we have decided to not come back. We watch other people through out the show getting multiple beers with no problems and we got singled out. How about all the people that had coolers in there cars diwning beer. They dont get told anything
Went there for the first time tonight and it was a complete waste of time and money. Bought tickets for Let Him Go at 7:40pm. Cashier told us it would be playing on screen 4. Turns out she told us the wrong screen and by the time we realized it 20 min of the film had gone by. I checked all the signs next to us when we realized this but we were definitely at screen 4 like she said. Ended up leaving because we had no interest in watching the rest of Come Play. Sucked to see the movie we paid to watch showing on another screen as we left. Drove an hour for this experience lol
I sadly never went here before the pandemic, but Ill be going long after. Everything was well run and well organized. I opted to have my food order delivered to the car and it took almost no time at all. They took precautions seriously and the few staff I interacted with were friendly. The screen was a bit dark, but with the ambient light from the city, theres not much to be done about that.Difficult to beat this price. Check em out!
My first time going. We went to see New Mutants, a film people have been waiting for for half a decade. They were holding a rave at the screen next to ours so spotlights kept shining the screen. Cars kept moving so there were headlights shining the screen. Nobody wore masks when people were congregating. It was absolute chaos. Ill not be going back to the Coyote Drive-In.
It was nice, well kept, most people stayed safe. If you come in a truck, dont go to the starting end of a row, people had difficulty maneuvering around it. I had an issue leaving but not so bad as to remove a star.
Perfect place to watch a movie while social distancing these days. Good selection of food and drinks, although the soda fountain was overwhelmed by bees. All the bees wanted was the soda, not to bother us while we got our drinks. Overall, a good experience and nice to see a movie again.
Great drive in. They have a decent size cantina that served the usual theater foods. It appeared that they have a set up capable of bringing in various food trucks. So the menu has the chance to sightly change every day. Beer selection was pretty good and the line moved pretty fast. Was a great venue to go watch the Garth Brooks concert.
First time ever visiting. I loved it. The restrooms and concessions were not hard to maneuver thru. I will definitely be visiting again
Only showing one movie on a screen instead of the usual two due to Covid-19 per their website. Food and beverages are closed down at 9:30pm as well. The drive-in was at capacity on a Saturday night. I recommend arriving no later than one hour before your movie starts.
Its an awesome place to watch a movie. They have a good selection of food and beer and have live music I think on Sundays. Im not sure if they still do that. Check it out, though, its great.
Been here twice in a month first was to watch a movie and had a amazing time. Second was for a country concert and had a blast the prices were fair for the location and the employees were very observant of those not following the face covering requirements. Politely asked other to put on a mask to enter the restrooms or stand in line for food and drinks. We will be returning soon for more amazing nights recommended for family events and Family Functions.
Ive come here multiple times and recently the service has been extremely poor. Each screen is supposed to be monitored so that visitors have a pleasant experience. However, no one was monitoring to ensure headlights are off, hatchbacks are tied down and cars are parked appropriately. I attempted to drive down multiples rows and could not because cars were blocking the access. I had to get out of my car and ask them to pull forward. Then an enormous 2500 (with headlights and roll bar lights on) almost backed into me because they couldnt get through the row either. I spoke to the manager and he refused to address the issues and stated explicitly that he didnt care. The female manager asked a customer to turn off her headlights, but the customer stated she could not turn them off and the manager didnt persist any further. Upon entrance, online and on the printed paper we are handed we are asked to turn off our headlights. Nothing was enforced by personnel. After speaking to the manager I asked for a refund due to poor service and he refused.
Social distancing at the concession stand was non-existent. The movie was dark, so it was hard to tell what was going on. Sound quality on the radio was pretty good, though. It was surprisingly easy to get in and out of the theater, too.
It was pretty cool. Only a few problems. We had a hard time seeing the movie, especially the darker scenes. I think there are too many street lights behind screen #3, which Coyote has no control over. Also as the movie started a car came zipping in really fast and parked very crooked right in front of us which made it impossible for me, my 4 1/2 year old, and my 62 son to see at all. We had to pick up our chairs and move them to the side of our vehicle almost in another parking spot because of the way the car parked (which was violating their rules) and then a girl in that car decided to have some long loud conversation on the phone for about a half an hour. Then she continued with various other conversations through out the entire 2 hours and 9 minutes of the movie. This made it hard to hear the movie. The people in that crooked car were not only not courteous of others but very disrespectful. Then a diesel truck pulled up right beside us and let there truck idle the entire movie, thus making it even harder to hear. Both of these vehicles were violating Coyote Drive-Ins rules, but we couldnt find anyone who worked there to help. I suppose their employees dont keep an eye out, so whats the use of having rules? Not sure. But once we finally got situated we enjoyed ourselves, but in all that upheaval we missed the first 10 minutes of the movies even though we were there 45 minutes before it started. We probably wont be back for a long time. But I would still recommend Coyote Drive-In, Id that kind of stuff doesnt bother you and the pricing isnt too bad.
Best place to watch movies in this area. The city lights dont hinder you from seeing the movies.
Went during the kai wachi show and the employees were awesome anytime I had seen them. Place was clean, restrooms weren’t bad. Will definitely be going back for a movie.
Ive had better experiences here before, but this time wasnt so good. We saw Let Him Go on screen three and the projection quality was so poor it was hard to follow much of the movie. If that wasnt bad enough, my burger was delivered without a top bun. We had to go back for the top and werent even offered out $4 service fee back.
First time and mabye last time. Went to see let him go. Picture quality horrible was not able to see most of the movie . 18 dollar doun the drain
Nice place to go the see a movie, when the weather is nice . Big area in front of the screen for all the kids to run around. Makes me think of the drive in movies when I was a kid. Except now you dont have to clip a speaker on your window
Absolutely fantastic experience! Highly recommended. Bring a blanket, as it might get chilly at night
This was our first time here. In fact, this was our first fun outing since sheltering in place since March, and although we will be back, I was disappointed in a few things that can be easily addressed. First... the good... thank you for enforcing the mask policy. It made our family feel safe and hopeful that we can do something fun and not compromise our well being. Also, we were at screen 1, and the spots and visibility was great. Very spacious and well done. The cars are sloped up a bit toward the screen, and it was a nice touch. Lastly (for the good), they are able to deliver the food to your car so you dont have to go to the concessions.Now... the bad... they stress that outside food or drink will not be allowed even a bottle of water, and add in a support local message that made me feel obligated to purchase their food. This wouldnt have been a problem if not for a few things... My food was delivered, and was missing more than 1/2 my items. I ordered $65 worth of stuff (including a $5 tip that I included up front), and was only brought out a few things. The young kid who delivered it, didnt wait one minute for me to check it, and was gone so quickly that I had to walk with the food back to concessions to get help. I was told that there were new people, but that is no excuse for the lack of training that is required to make sure that everything on a list, is in the bag. Once I was given the rest of my items, and returned to my car, we found that the water was not very cold, and the food was so over salted that we couldt eat the popcorn, fries, or pretzels. Granted, salt is a part of these items, but there was FAR too much. Then, because it was so hot out, and I didnt bring water myself, I attempted to go buy more bottles of water or ice-cream for my family, and everything was closing. How could you not allow for outside food or water; yet deny food and water while movies are still playing. If you are only open for a few hours to begin with, why cant you keep the concessions open the whole time? I had gone to the front with my kids since they also had to use the restroom, and was denied a few cups of water for my children while the staff was closing down (after I asked to purchase some bottles). That was unacceptable. There was even a fridge full of water near the bathroom that they could have easily sold to me, but the young staff didnt want to be bothered. They were very rude, and could care less about what I needed. Needless to say, I was so angry and we didnt last long because it was so hot and my kids were thirsty, so we left and didnt finish the movie. So, when I go back, I will be prepared, but if they make some changes, I will be happy to support local. I noticed that people who had been there before, were well stocked with their snacks and drinks!
Have been here a few times. A nice outing and good place to go for social distancing for watching movies outside. Also the concession choices are adequate.
Didnt engage in person to person concessions. The movie was good. Screens are decent and the sound comes through well. First movie in a while so it was fun.
Screen to small. Cars in front had lights on affecting ability to even see movie.
Restrooms were clean and the view was decent. If youre towards the front of lot there will be about 15-20 minutes of traffic as everyone is leaving. Be prepared to be patient.
Its a cool place to watch a movie, especially last night in the cool texas night. I do wish they had a black backdrop behind where they show the movie because the city/car lights can be annoying. I liked the food I bought and its a pretty open area with a lot of room. I definitely liked this better than a plain movie theater.
Great experience. The concession area had good prices. My one area of improvement would be during the movie trailers the complex says that no need to worry if your car battery dies. Well ours did die and there was no staff around to get a jump from and the phone number only takes you to a self automated message. Luckily the guy next to us gave us a jump. But maybe have a guest service area where people can get help? Or a line to call?
I love the Coyote! Drive-ins rule, and I loved socially distancing like this before the pandemic so its great.
Getting out of the place is ridiculous. They should have more exits. Movie experience was great leaving was not so great.
An ideal way to spend evening during Corona times.Dont order the double bacon cheese burger expecting 2 patties. Its 2 pieces of bacon. Better if getting 2 cheese burgers. Taste was mediocre but I felt safe eating it.
We had a great time! Arrived an hour early and got front row like we wanted. Ordered food and enjoyed the show. They have done a great job with the place. The parking tilts your vehicle up so you can see The screen good. The weather was perfect so we all were outside in lawn chairs. The only improvement. If they could put a wood fence along 5th street On the north end. There was people leaving that parking lot at some other business turning their car lights on and shining in your face at Theater 4. If you had a wood fence instead of chain link it wouldn’t bother anyone. I think the other screens are set up so they would not be bothered at all by something like that. Nice pavilion and the food service was super fast. We will be back. Be nice if you had diet something else besides Diet Pepsi.
This place is great. We saw Bert K here and has a wonderful time!
Well done! Offers walk-up and car-side concessions. Recommended to arrive early for a spot near the screen. Stay in your vehicle, pop the gate, or bug-out with chairs with plenty of room per space (about 10x10). Leashed pets allowed, kids optional.
They say to get there 1 hour before so there wont be a line. I did and there was 20 minutes of advertising. Then, there was 15 minutes of previews. I waited for over and hour and 40 minutes to watch 1 movie!!!!!! Thats RIDICULOUS.!!!! And lets not even get on the bees by the drink machines. Its disgusting. Dont waste your money
Love this place...Please help support the Locals.....
Fun place. Plenty of space. Screens are huge for easy viewing. Bathrooms are clean. Pet friendly. Dont forget your lawn chairs and a portable FM speaker.
Good size with plenty of room and screens. However, if youre coming here to actually watch a movie I would not count on it. Out of the five times Ive been here there was always been one or multiple people having issues with their lights, the first time some younger kids couldnt figure out their 2020 BMW, had LED brights in my eyes half of the movie, last time a friend had to remove his shirt to cover a Ford Explorers headlight on the row infront of us, since the owners had no intention of fixing it or caring about the 10 rows behind him.Tried calling the number for the theatre multiple times, only to be on hold and no one picks up the phone
The drive in was spacious, parking easy. The reception for the audio is good, angle of parking also good. I didn’t spend much time in the concession area but from what I did experience is about in line with many outdoor vending experiences: some things dropped or blown around from patrons, some surfaces sticky from the same. But the all around is decent.I went on a day that a light drizzle so watching a movie with windshield wipers going is not ideal, and that was also obstructing the view. Not the drive-in’s fault.Would come again, waiting for the right movie.
I like the place, the food and the experience but I just wish they would adjust the brightness of the movie itself. Every time I go I find it hard to see whats going on. Other than that, good place.
Absolutely awesome. Very romantic setting, the view of Ft Worth skyline in background is priceless.
I was a bit worried about it being so close to the city lights but it was absolutely no problem. The prices are great and the food was good. I was pretty impressed that even in the scenes with really low light (and it was horror movies so it was lots of dark scenes) it was still perfectly visible. The service was wonderful as well. Best drive-in experience that Ive ever had.
I understand that making an ice skate rink in Texas is hard but, thats still no excuse for the ice to be pretty much slush. The entire time on the ice they never smoothed it over and water would pool up in the corners. Not only that but the entire rink was bumpy and i cant imagine first timers ever being able to stand up in there. the only thing i ask is for them to smooth it over more, so you can actually use it.
Loved it but the screen really needs to be improved it was very blurry a better screen or or projection would help
There is so much light pollution its hard to see dark scenes. They dont use the whole screen, like having a HDTV and using 1080p. Their Lewisville location was by far better!
The movie experience was great. Its nice having the sound come through your cars speakers and be able to discuss the movie with a date and not have a theater look at you angrily for doing so. What wasnt great was the concessions. Its still $5-$6 for a drink. And the food tastes as cheap as the listing price. The pizza looked and tasted disgusting, and the popcorn was burnt and had no butter. In the future Ill go for only the movies, not the snacks.
Cheap and good service but really dark movies anything dark is no good cartoons or anything bright is good
Nice venue. We went on a weeknight so it was not too crowded.
I highly recommend Coyote Drive-In. We went last night to enjoy some time out of the house while still maintaining social distance. I think they’ve done an amazing job at offering modern amenities without completely losing the nostalgic feel. We were able to order concession food and candy online and have it delivered to our vehicle. We can’t wait to go back!
Allways. A great place to bring a large crowd or big family. Or noisy babies with out interrupting the movie for others. Great for couples also have food. Beer. And much more ice skating. Love this place plus you get two movie for the price of one. Very clean bathrooms play area for kids. Security and nice frozen drinks for the ladies. The the backdrop of down. Town skyline is. The best part to me
I LOVE the drive-in movie theater! Staff is friendly, food prices are affordable, they have food trucks, a playground for kids, and live music before the show. Tickets are extremely affordable! Adult tickets are $6 and childrens tickets are $5 and you get to watch two movies. That alone is worth it! The best part is my son can talk in the car and doesnt have to sit still. Theres others who load up with pillows and blankets to sit in the back of their truck or SUV. If you wanted to make a great adults night out-- go to the drive-in, see two movies and then head to downtown Fort Worth which is a minute away, if that, and close down the bars for the next hour-hour and a half.
It was alright. Screen 4 is hard to watch due to the lights behind the screen. Really wish they were doing more to encourage safe practices at the concession area.
This place is great. All movies ar double features which makes me feel like Im getting more out if my ticket price. We have a baby so a drive-in has been the only way we can get out to see q film. Perfect spot for families with small children since youre in your own car.Food prices are slightly less expensive than a normal theater but not exorbitant. Its basic fast food, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, snacks. They have a pretty solid selection of beers on tap though. They have a small event space with live music and food trucks before the movies start. If the weather is warm its super fun to have a beer or two in the sun before the movies start. There is a nice communal feel. Everyone is out having a good time and enjoying life. The staff are friendly. The other customers are friendly.Screen 1 is the best if you can get it. Theres a wonderful view of downtown Fort Worth in the background.
Great staff, good times. Hope you have a truck, its big brain moves to sit on the tail gate with lawn chairs & beer
First time ever going. They had my nephews graduation there and they did an awesome job on getting everyone in and done right. Loved it. Will definitely visit for an actual movie showing.
The food and drinks were pretty good, but they limited the number of soda fountains that are available which then caused people to congregate around them.I wish people understood that leaving early or turning their lights on and off is distracting.
DRIVE INN love this place; affordable, great location by Downtown, and food choices are good just portions could be better for the price. Overall, we had a blast as a Family and the exploring was unforgettable. > Downside The RR must be maintained and kept up: we went in and water was everywhere and Stalls were extremely dirty
The drive-in was really nice but the screen that we watch a movie on at very poor image but I enjoyed the snack bar
Social distancing fun at its finest!Clean bathrooms.Delivery to your car.Reasonable prices.
Friendly staff and spacious lots, however they do not enforce their rules. So many people sitting outside of their vehicles or walking around without regards to social distancing or wearing masks. The screen was so dark that the movie was barely visible. Disappointing experience overall.
Very clean and affordable place. We will be returning soon!
Great place for movies! $5 for kids and $7 for adults! They have a full snack bar: pizza, hamburgers, fries, popcorn, cookies, chuuros, etc! Highly recommend this place!
Great place to enjoy the movies, I recommend you bring a sperate radio to tune in as the screen speakers are fairly quiet
