My favorite movie theater since I was a kid.. love the smaller theaters.. well set up for covid even if they didnt have anyone come check the seating..

First Ill say the good, this theater is beautiful inside and the seats are very comfortable and recline all the way. The screen has a pleasant aesthetic. This is a wonderful theater to see a movie in right in the middle of downtown Fort Worth with ample parking nearby. What wasnt pleasant was the customer service experience. My date initially asked for a kids cup she would pay for since she wanted a little diet Coke but not much. The lady said no I cant. Ok, fair. My date then asked if she paid for a regular drink could she get a kids cup. The lady grabbed a regular sized cup and smacked it on the counter saying she cant do that. Im a regular at AMC and even have A-List, but it really put a damper on what couldve been the perfect theater experience.

My husband and I would come to this location when we first moved to Fort Worth in 2013. Now it has really gone downhill and its so heartbreaking.Its dirty, the staff arent too helpful, the wait at concessions take forever when the employees are standing there talking and ignoring customers, my husband put his drink in the cup holder only to find out it was filthy and had a lot of ketchup in there, and the escalators are still not working which is inconvenient especially for people like my mother-in-law who has medical issues. And they seem to be rude when we ask to use the elevator.We brought it up and they just apologized and let it be.If you go to an AMC in Fort Worth, the best location is in Clearfork. Dont come here.

Love the scenery here! Ever since I was a little boy wanted to go inside but my Momma said not to.

I love this movie theater! How its three stories! And makes you feel kinda fancy because its in down town. And AMC has the best movie theater popcorn! Especially their spicy popcorn which is cheddar cheese popcorn with hot Cheetos! Yum! And for those clean freaks their bathroom is always clean! And their theatres are also very clean.

Very disappointed with the Escalators: not working since 2018! I’m not going again until the fixes itHad to climb multiple sets of stairs for concessions and access to and from theater.

Best seat in the house...is every seat! Ive not been to this theater before, and I was delightfully surprised that theres only 50 seats per viewing room. Imagine my surprise that each seat is a recliner, complete with cup holder and electronic controls, and no seats to look over. I love it!

The seats were great. The concessions stand was a let down. Almost like they ran out of money to make it look as nice as inside of the theaters. The menu selection was wide but looked to be too ambitious for the state of the concessions stand. Service was polite and very slow. The seats in the theater lived up to expectations of a national chain but not the rest of the experience.

The escalators arent on & if youre disabled, you have to get certain employee to get access to the elevator. If you want popcorn & your movie is on the other level, you need to get a certain employee twice. If you want your refill, youll have to get one of those employees again. If you have the ability to trot up & down stairs, youll be fine!

This place has gone down hill big time. It was our go to movie theater for a long time. However it is in dire need of repairs from staff to the building. Ceiling ties missing, escalators not working, trash all over the floor, displays not working to show what movie is in that specific theater and bathrooms neglected. Concessions take forever because the staff just don’t give .... The staff needed change and it took forever for the manager to bring it. When someone asked the manager how much longer he just said yea I’m getting it. No apologies. This was such a great place in a great location but we won’t be back.

I never ever have a problem with this theater. The staff is always there being super friendly ! Like when my family walked in there was a man yelling at an employee and the employee rather then getting mad was being super nice ! It just shows what kind of expectations AMC has for its employees. Also the theater was very clean from the inside and that’s another huge plus !

First time going to this AMC theatre and definitely the last one,so dissatisfied with the service the escalators don’t work the service at the stand so poor and bathrooms dirty I will stay with Cinemark at north east mall

Great and extremely comfortable reclining seats. The seats are huge as well. A little annoying that you cannot lay flat and still have room to pass by in front of other people. They have to sit up. The selection of snacks are huge and there is also a huge selection of drinks.

Saw Midway, a Historical action movie, about actual facts of American history. It was very well done. Saw it with my husband, my Sister and her husband we double dated and it was a very enjoyable evening. The guys really enjoyed the movie.

Its ok..... only good if your wanting something cheap. You get what you pay for.

This is now the second time we have come and the escalators are not working I have a bad knee so climbing the stairs is really difficult. Yes I know there is an elevator but you have to wait on a staff member to let you use it and either way you still have to use the stairs to get to the entrance and exit!! We will definitely be finding another theater to go to from now on!

This theater is so cool! From the outside to the inside it has a vintage feel. Its absolutely beautiful. There is parking close by, and the theater itself is so nice and clean. The chairs are very comfortable, as with most AMCs. You dont often see a theater on two levels, and that is one of the things that makes this place so visually appealing. I 100% recommend.

First and foremost the movie we saw (Frozen 2) was outstanding, picture quality and seating were just fine. My issue is with the quality and price of the concession items. I spent over $55 on popcorn and drinks alone. Within that order I also got mac n cheese bites. The popcorn was tasteless, cold, and stale. The mac n cheese bites looked, felt, And tasted like something left out overnight then reheated the next day. In other words the quality and price did not match up. I did go back to concessions for fresh popcorn and informed the MOD that it tasted stale. Didnt get an apology from anyone. Even if it was stale to their personal standards doesnt mean you get to pretend like there isnt a problem. I wont spend money here again thats for sure. The escalators werent even working. Kinda trashy if you ask me.

In the heart of Sundance Square. We loved the seats with their ability to recline at the touch of a button. The entrees we ordered were good and the popcorn was average. Candy and drink prices seemed to be a little expensive. I really enjoyed this theater.

I had a terrible start to my late night experience. Kelly at the concession stand was rude didnt say hello and everything she was doing was more important than us. Including getting us to our movie even though were already running late

It’s January 7, 7:30 pm just came to see frozen two with my friend get a call from her saying she’s stuck in the elevator and so I came and brought it to the attention to an employee up stairs at the concessions and showed no concern and brushed it off his shoulder she was finally able to get out by prying the elevator door open with her hands. For a location in such a nice area their employees don’t seem to care. Not coming back“your safety is important to us” hah suree

Been a while since I been however Excellent from entertaining purposes. Very spacious. Very we and polite staff. Nice cozy and comfortable seating selections. Clean. Spectacular and nice overall experience. Worth Recommending. Like when the movie you are viewing has lots of previews for new and upcoming films. Overall spectacular entertainment

The decor of this place changes very often. The staff seems very annoyed and bothered when customers come in during non peak hours. They serve you in a rush, because getting back to whatever is on your phone is more important than helping people.

Very disappointed in this place it was very trashy place was not clean at all seat were greasy & popcorn all over the seats the employee need customer service classes. Plus while we were watching the movie the fire alarm went off ...i didnt want to give any stars. But it would not save my post

Honestly, not a great experience. Popcorn was stale and mostly kernels. Restrooms werent very clean. There was also a piece of glass that covered the bottom half of a screen which would be fine if it wasnt filthy with buttery fingerprints. On top of all that, the staff wasnt really friendly or nice at all.

This is my favorite theater to watch movies at, its super comfortable and the staff are always very nice and make you feel welcomed.Today I went to see a movie and the theater was quite warm so I asked one of the managers if there was anything they could do and he said no problem and turned down the air. Its a small thing, but it was greatly appreciated.

Its a movie theater. Its clean. They keep the line moving at the concession stand. The screens are big. The seating is comfy and steeply stacked. The bathrooms are clean. There is nothing outstanding about this place, but they nail the basics consistently.

I dont like this theater. It is only open certain hours depending on the volume, online orders, and purchases. I do not recommend this location for last minute visits.

Movie tavern used to be our go to theater. But once amc updated their seats to recline and added the bar. We converted back here! Love this place.

This is a very nice theater locates in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. My date and I were not even thinking of going to a movie. We discovered this gem as we were walking around the downtown area trying to walk off a meal we had just had. Oh well, so much for exercise.

Very nice multi-level theater close to the parking garage, Sundance Square, and great restaurants. The art deco exterior has been the same for decades but the interior is well kept and modern. Seats are comfy as all get out. Tickets are a little pricey but probably normal compared to similar theaters.

Pretty good 1st experience! Was able to buy my tickets using the atom app very easily. Cashier was extremely kind in redeeming tickets and even gave me and my guest a coupon for popcorn and a drink.Love the theatre rooms. Nice comfy chairs that recline and give good visibility. Restrooms were also very nice.Because this theatre is located in downtown Fort Worth, it is not a bad idea to have extra money available for parking.The one (teeny) issue I had with the theatre was that all of the escalators (that I saw) only went up. However, I have working legs and feet, so Im not complaining about using the stairs. Also have elevators, so it is ADA compliant.Will return!

I really want to give this place 5 stars. The service was great! The people working there were so kind. The seats were great and both the theater and bathrooms were clean. My ONLY complaint is the stairs. Concessions are on the second floor and they have movies on the basement level. I was terrified to walk down the stairs with my popcorn and drinks. They have escalators installed but not in service which make little sense to no sense. Also, if youd like to use the elevator, you have to alert their limited staff to use the key to take you to your floor.Without the stairs or lack of options to get to theaters, I cant give it 5 whole stars. Maybe 4.5 because I enjoyed everything else.

This is such a nice theater. Really love the reclining seats. All thats missing is being able to buy a blanket to get extra comfy. Maybe they tried that out and people kept falling asleep though, haha!

Nice theatre but very upset about their R rated policies. My friend & I showed up at 1pm to see Book Smart and my friend forgot her ID. I had mine and she’s clearly over 18. They would not even accept a photograph of her id or license, or high school deploys. They made us leave. Very upset. I understand being strict about ID’s for children but I am 20 years old....annoying.

First theatre Ive been to with Coke Freestyle. Wish more were like this. Old building, but great new reclining seats and personal sized screen rooms.

Ticket lady Ronnie was beyond rude. Its our first time here, so we didnt know to have her scan our tickets from our A-list purchase at outside ticket office. She yelled, yes yelled at us in front of other people, to come outside. She never apologized after we explained it was our first visit. She never smiled or thanked us, just handed the tickets and told us which theater.The lady at the concession stand checked our refill popcorn bucket like she worked for TSA. Customer service clearly needs work at this location. Weve been loyal AMC customers for a very long time and have visited many different locations in different states and have never experienced service like this before. Please address this behavior soon as it hurts business more than you think .

I’m an avid movie going who goes to the movie at least once a week.This place usually has a good variety of movies showing in their many theaters. Food is a bit expensive but that’s just how it is when buying snacks or food at the movies.

Movie was great.. folks watching movie should put away phones. Maybe a better presence of managers or theater security should visit theaters when folks are viewing movies. Start dismissing folks for being on the phone during the movie. Its annoying and ruins tje experience and not apart of what I paid for.

We have been coming here for years pre and post remodel. Our last experience was three stars without a doubt, although this place averages 4/5 in my opinion. Went for a morning matinee at an upstairs theater on the same level as the vending. Even though the price of a ticket is only $5, if you want popcorn and one drink, that is an additional $15. Okay no problem, thats how its been for years. However, when I go over to the soda fountain and see that I can only get diet drinks from the machine that has no CO2, and can only get regular drinks from the machine that does have CO2, what is someone supposed to do if they want a diet drink? The millennial behind the counter told me that was simply how it was and offered no solution other than to deal with it. Sorry, but when I am paying $5 for the same drink I pay $0.79 for at QT, Im going to get a little bit upset. Not only that, but the area around the soda fountain was dirty with sticky Coke residue all over the place. The theater itself was good, picture quality was great and sound was great. No issues there. Next time I think we will just skip the vending and go straight to the movie!

Really awesome theater, old school place that was given newer amenities, polite staff, all around great.

Nice comfortable relaxing seats! However dont make any noise eating your refreshments. Be prepared to climb some stairs. Elevator and escalators both out of order! 3 stories. The refreshments are on the 3rd floor.

The theater itself is not too bad, however, sitting in row F, you watch a quarter of the screen through finger print smudged glass. Very disappointing when you pay $12 to see a movie. This makes it really annoying to try and watch a movie. Please have your staff clean the glass!!

I come here about 2-3 times a month. Its always very clean and the people are nice. I wish they had Dolby Cinema. I dont think they even have Dolby. Which takes away from the experience. The people and location keep me coming back.

Never again. Only one register open at concession, slow service and they let amc members cut in line, making the service even slower. And were at an early show and theyre out of bottle water already??? Popcorn tastes like it is leftover from yesterday. Very disappointing experience.

Bathrooms are neglected each time Ive visited more so the downstairs bathrooms. During the movie the lighting kept changing going from brighter to dim in odd places it distracted from the movie. The picture was not positioned correctly at times the characters spoke French and the captions were partly cut off only the top half of each word was visible.

Great amenities, concessions and movie seats! The staff is also amazing and oh so very friendly!

A great movie experience right in downtown Fort Worth!

Love coming to AMC in Fort Worth! Seats are some of the best around, and the theatre layout is in such a way that even if youre on the sides then youre still getting a great view!

I guess because it is downtown this theatre doesnt get much traffic. I have never had any trouble getting a great seat at any show.

The concession stand service was not good. The food is very over priced, there was not enough food available and the staff dropped my food, and still tried to serve it to me. The manager was rude when I spoke with her and thisnwas my mothers day outing with my family

Ive been going to the Palace since I was a kid, when it had just opened. They have done a great job with updating the place, adding in reclining chairs and such. I will go back soon and I cant wait to see if theyve done anything more to spruce the place up. Regardless, its worth the visit if you want to see a movie downtown.

Terrible place. 1st off, I had to wait a good two minutes while the cashiers were figuring out their dinner orders with one another.“So the French fries and the cheese burger.”“Yes. That’s what I’ll get.”“But WITH the French fries!”“Yes! With fries.”“AND the cheese burger.”“Yes. The cheeseburger too.”...No “hello, we’ll be with you in just a second.”Or, “hold on Sarah. Hi! How can I help you?” Not even an apology after getting ignored or even a hello or a smile. What happened to basic customer service? I regret not going to the automatic kiosk outside.Finally I got my two tickets and our movie was downstairs. We got two seats up on the top row and we got to look at a glass screen covering the bottom half of the movie screen the whole time. No matter what position the chair was in. What in the world?? I love AMC theaters. We usually go to the one off Eastchase and I30, but what happened here? I’m 5’3” so I just thought I was too short. But my husband is 6’ and had the same issue.Also, the seats were so uncomfortable. The AMC off Eastchase, when you lift up the armrest, it’s just like a love seat so you can cozy up to your companion. This one had basically a hard armrest under the armrest. Lolol so you lift the armrest and then there’s a hard as a rock armrest flush with the seats but in between the two seats...so not a love seat. So uncomfortable. And they had the AC down at like 65. We were dying.Only positive about this place is its location. It was nice to walk to Paciugo to get ice cream afterwards, but still not worth the awful service and the uncomfortable movie theater design experience. Very disappointed.I get it, construction is done, can’t do anything about it. But at least coach your employees to be a bit more professional and courteous.

I like this place. Conveniently located in Sundance Square, it is an easy walk to get to and near plenty of restaurants. The popcorn has always been fresh and the theaters are clean.

I had already purchased my ticket online. Walked in and there was a line up the stairs, and down into the lobby. There was no one explaining what was going on. this was my first time there so I stood there for a minute wondering what to do. I asked someone else if they already had tickets they said no. So I see a concession stand, so I walk to that and Im like um do I need to wait in that line to show that I have a ticket. They were like,here Ill rip it for you. So I gave them my ticket and they proceeded to tell me where the theater was. So, I realize that the only thing they serve at this stand is alcohol and I dont drink. So I ask where do I get food. So she says third floor (which is upstairs). So. I try to walk up the stairs that are open (they shut the e trance to the other side) and Im fight going up against people coming down,next to the line of people just standing there (I guess for a refund). I get upstairs,and yet again,there are two lines. Ive never been here so o have no clue whats up. I see an arrow pointing to the left for non members and then a right line for priority or something. So I go to the much smaller line and still dont know if Im going to get food before the movie starts. So I wait and finally get called to the counter (which was awkward because I thought that I was cutting the whole other line). I get to the counter and the two girls there were friendly. One made my mini pretzels and she was genuinely sweet. So I order a lot of food. Go to the drink machines, they are not working either one for ice in one and then half the drinks werent coming out, so gingerale it was.... I then realize I have this mound of food and I have to walk down two flights of stairs because the elevator is only accessable to staff.. I literally had to make sure I didnt hit more people on the way down. Just to get to my movie. I was few minutes late but just missed preview. It was rather unpleasant to go through all of that just to watch one movie. When evenings like that happen the management should be out more directing people where they need to go. It was pretty chaotic and I am glad I didnt have my son or my handicapped mother because Im not sure if she would have been able to manage her walker.

It is the most comfortable place to watch a movie. It has lounge chairs that recline and is affordable.
