Beautiful scenery here. Really nice paved trail leading out of the park and continues to downtown Fort Smith. Plenty of open space and parking.

I visit this park quite often when I ride my bike on the levy trail. Its is a nice setting with trees and picnic tables and a boat ramp with ample parking. I often see the same people slowly cruising the park over and over and others that park but never get out of their cars. Makes you wonder what theyre doing. I would imagine this park could get a little sketchy at night.

Nice relaxing, plenty of places to park, a soccer field to walk down to coma and Ive just discovered this not too long ago but there are also Osage Orange trees in this park.

Great fishing fun. Saw a barge and tugboat and caught 2 nice carp. Good all the way

My initial review of this place had been up for 2 years. I called it my serenity, but its not anymore. Yes, they are doing improvements if thats what you are to call them. If you enjoy concrete then come on down. This used to be my place of wildness, Arkansas Beauty I guess. Now there are more parking lots, concrete gazebos, and many new concrete trails. Less grass, less wildlife, less enjoyment for me personally. Well I hope this does what they wanted to -- maybe make it more family-friendly --they spent 6 months constructing a smaller playground right across the trail from the playground that has been wonderfully used and more than sufficient that they already had. I have not seen the new playground used once the only upside to the new playground right next to the old playground is that you land on grass instead of possible dirt or gravel if you should happen to trip. My God had they taken the grass away it would have been a two-year project!!! Thank you guys ...where do I walk in the grass and enjoy the green, the trees, the squirrels and the birds? Now I must trip over an empty playground?. Enjoy the empty gazebo and extra parking lot folks ...,. I guess I will try to find someplace else . Thanks for the ride Fort Smith Park.️well I feel a little silly now. After closer inspection the little small playground that I was complaining about is not for a little small folks its a small fenced an agility course for dogs!! I drove past it one day there was actually a little dog in there running around it has some agility pieces that a dog would use in an agility course the dogs owner was sitting inside her car eating a donut and the dog was wandering around looking sad and looking at the little playthings. It was cute but I felt sorry for the dog the big lady should put the donut down and go in with her dog! Sorry for the confusion folks Ive had more dogs than I have kids. My bàd

Really loved it, nice scenery and well kept up park, not any trash laying about and good fishing as well.

Bathrooms are working order but knowing mens or womens restroom not so clear. Wonderful play area and a view of the river. Picnic tables are there bring lunch and enjoy.

This is a nice place to enjoy lunch and watch the squirrels. Theyre is some damage from the floods but still enjoyable. The boat ramp is open.

Beautiful scenery! Alot of shade, picnic tables, and BBQ grills for gatherings. Big and fun playground for the kids. Huge soccer field. We moved here almost 2 years ago and we hadnt spent a day at this park. Now that we have a baby in the family we will definitely be visiting frequently.

Awesome park for anyone and everyone, any age. Soccer field next to the river, dog park and drinking fountain (but not working so if u take ur lil fury family members pls take water for them too) kids play area too. Or even just park and relax. Beautiful to even just run through.

This park is nicer, now, than only a few years ago. There is a new playground with new equipment.

I love this park. It is the BEST for walking when you want to do some serious steps... nice long stretch of tranquility... none of that round and round the same track over and over. Great experience.

Needs a water park for the kids on hot summer days!

Needs a lot of clean up, I use the boat ramp and right now its got a lot of sand on it. Like I said, the park needs cleaned

The park is in the heart of Fort Smith and beautiful! there are lots of animal friends walking by, or climbing in the trees, and the scenery is gorgeous!
