Very difficult getting around in the park as far as roads are concerned. And when leaving 2 huge deer ran right directly in front of me in the park. Funny as it was it was scary.

This park has an extensive network of paved multi-use trails that traverse varying terrain and scenery. It really is a beautiful area for biking/walking/running. There is also a lengthy mountain bike trail winding throughout the park complete with a few features to add even more fun. Dont forget about the tennis courts/baseball/softball fields and paved running loop with a few outdoor workout stations.

Had alot of fun. Did have a pair of shoes stolen this year and prices seem steep at door.

Childrens parks look like a lot of fun, however they are closed off without any signs indicating so at the entrance to the area. We had to drive our kids by the park and explain that its still closed. Open our parks!!

Nice jogging trail and sand volleyball courts. The volleyball courts are well maintained and frequently used. I play pickup games there often and there are occasional leagues to join. Good restroom facilities on site and a few shaded pavilions for picnics. Great place to spend a day hanging out.

Nice spacious park. Lots of running/biking trails around. Scenery is beautiful. Plenty of parking spots.

Great park with some great views. Great place for cross country running and biking. They also have very nice tennis courts!

Covid 19 has taken all the fun out of visiting this park. The kids playground is closed, no organized baseball or soccer, and not sure if public bathrooms are available. The golf course and mini-golf are open. Theres also Frisbee golf. Lots of available space for picnicking. Parrot island water park is now only open Saturdays and Sunday.

Great walking trail and there are tennis courts which alllow for a tennis player to create angles and geometric patterns of shot-making.

Today I went for a Coronavirus test. Having a procedure on Tuesday. Now its over and Ill quarantine until then. But Ben Geren Park is a great place to enjoy the pool and putt-putt golf or go-carts. Its got softball games throughout the season and batting cages to practice at. A really good place to BBQ and hang out!

Disc golf is awesome here. Well maintained and great courses..

I went there for a Covid Test and they were very nice and I felt comfortable with the testing.

The disc golf course is really run, got some long holes with fun challenges. I dont bike but I run the mountain bike trails, the scenery is great and you have a lot of options of various difficulties. The fitness trail is great too.

Nice family friendly place.

Several hiking and mountain biking trails, 3 disc golf courses, multiple soccer fields, miniature golf and normal golf, sand volleyball, as well as several pavilions and a playground. Oh yeah...and theres a waterpark!

Very fun and great family time. Alot of different things to do for all ages.

Nice park needs ground maintenance

Great place to take the kiddos to play but watch out for wasp nests. I smashed one that had several wasps and many eggs. To a child allergic to wasp venom this may have had serious consequences.

Nice family oriented park. Great place to ride a bike, play golf (regular, disc or mini), softball, soccer, have a family picnic, a water park that rivals many of the large ones Ive been to. And this year a FlowRider surf simulator. Fort Smith is fortunate to have such a diverse park for family oriented entertainment.

I think this place gets better everytime I go

This park is akways nice to go to. Our child loves the playground and making friends and the husband and I love the park benches under the trees. The bathrooms are clean considering its a public park. Theres a lot more to do at this park than just the playground too. Also theres a ton of swings so I dont feel bad getting on an open one myself when theres not a lot of kids there.

Really good sized park. Went after it rained and the playground was muddy. Ben Garden is a very large park which has a playground, baseball fields, soccer fields, walking trails, a Water Park, putt putt course, go-kart track, plenty of parking, and covered picnic tables.

Its a really nice park overall. I mainly conne to play disc golf at one of the three courses they offer and well occasionally hit up parity island or the kids play area as well. Its all pretty well maintained. Obviously some bad apples who litter, but nice overall.

Very family friendly oriented. We went out there to play volleyball and soccer they have a great bug paces to play sports. They also have a very nice playground for children.

This park is a fun place for the whole family. Parrot island waterpark is located inside of it conveniently, theres also a mini golf court. There is lots of fun games why could disc golf course and all kinds of stuff that you can do!

We enjoy the walking trail.

Great place to enjoy your day,(Parrot Island) but they screen your bags and confiscate any type of food or drink. Its best to pack a cooler and leave it in your car. Enjoy lunch from outside of the park, and then return. Concession stand is not very good and its prices are outrageous for the quality of the nuked burgers, and other blah blah items.

We went for the frisbee golf and had a good time. My only wish is that they did a better job of marking where the courses started. Apparently there are three of them and it’s had to find the first holes.

Huge park with lots to do for the whole family!

This is a huge park. The ball fields are well managed and a great place for families and friends to have a great time. The only downfall is that the entrances to fields 1,2,3 and 4 are on one side. In and out. The gates are locked on the backside behind fields 1& 2. If there was an emergency, and those entrances were blocked, no one could get out fast without jumping the fence or cutting off the locks. Who carries bolt cutters with them to a park having fun.

Ben Geren is an expansive local park here in Ft. Smith including baseball fields, Minnie golf (Gator Golf), a waterproof with several slides and pools thats slated for more attractions soon, an indoor sports facility, picnic areas, a 27 whole golf course and jogging/walking tracks and paths. It also includes pavilions and lots of open spaces to run, explore or throw a blanket down and count clouds.The golf course is one of the top courses in the region and is the first to initiate a native prarie program with areas designated as natural, native prarie lands where a wide variety of Oklahoma native grasses and plants attract an impressive amount of indigenous animals and insects. It also employs one of the premier long drive hitters in the nation, Downtown Matt Brown, who has consistently landed in the countries top 15 to 25 long ball hitters.Ben Geren offers something for everyone and is a true Jewel in the crown of Western Arkansas and eaten Oklahoma.Yall come now. Ya hear?

Probably the best urban park I have ever visited (and I have lived in or visited 48 of the 50 states). Go there if you have the time!

Would bring grandkids every couple of months. One of us would get a hole in one on the last hole & win a free game of golf. They dont do that anymore, employee said the owner felt that he gave out too many & lost money. think about this: our family would pay for 3=$21 & get 1 free=$0. Lost interest. Not fun more.

We played putt putt at Gator Golf. Its only $7 for 28 holes. It could use some updating, but reasonable for the number of holes you get to play.

This is a fantastic park. It is really big with lots of things to do. Playground areas for kids, soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, golf course, go kart track, Parrot Island water park, bicycle trails, running trails, picnic areas, and there is a tornado shelter here if you find yourself in danger.

Water park and staff are nice. Can get crowded. Fairly priced.

4.5 stars, only missing benches to seat at the holes

A busy or Park more bigger the X parking hold hundreds and hundreds of people tell me what your kids going to socialize with other kids this is one of the better parks to go to

Awesome exercise park

Nice place. Very large with a lot of things to do from golf, to seater park, to baseball/softball, batting cages, mini-golf and soccer fields.

There are all sorts of things to do in this park. My opinion is that there should be city buses running to this park so folks who dont have transportation can visit

I ride the bike trails at Ben Geren park. They are great. Good flow, nice maintenance and challenging. They get 4 stars instead of 5 because its pretty busy there and the trails arent directional. Which can be a safety hazard.

My favorite park, I run here in the mornings. The track is long enough that I feel good when I’m done.

Love exercising on the fitness trail. Have taken nieces and nephews to the playground several times and have never had any issues with anything or anyone. People that frequent here tend to be friendly. Great place to go.

Great swimming. We just dont like them dighing through our bags looking for food an etc. Kind of crazy

This place has everything. There is a waterpark, a go-cart place, mini golf, a soccer area, a disc-golf area, playgrounds, a basketball gym, etc. This place offers so much it seems unlikely. Excellent place to bring children or teenagers. You can spend all day here and not be bored.

One of the best parks Ive ever visited. Excellent running and biking trails, playgrounds,tennis courts, soccer fields, and baseball/softball facilities. It also has a go-cart track, mini-golf and water park that is open seasonally.

Open and clean. Just dont try to play here within a few days of rain unless you want to be covered in mud.

The round about is dangerous. Most people do not know how to handle it.

Big, clean, and beautiful! Play ground, softball and soccer fields, 18 hole golf course, putt-putt, kid and adult go carts, brand new small water park, and my personal favorite, a disc golf area with 3 different course selections ranging from novice to pro.
