BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL clean, friendly environment. I must say the people was wearing mask and social distancing. I felt very comfortable, and sade. The beach was not crowded. Will recommend to anyone who is traveling to that area. It reminds me of Miami.

Nice beach, metered parking, tables can be windy...you can cook and enjoy plenty of picnic tables.

Very clean, maintained daily, and just the perfect place to bring the family for a day trip to the beach! Or a wonderful place to have a date night by the ocean, and have a picnic. Multiple picnic tables, that also have grills to use along side them. Public bathrooms close by, that are handicap friendly as well. Not far from a convenience store around the corner, whether it be by car, or by foot. Basketball courts(that are in great shape) a yoga park, and place to work out along the same strip of sidewalk. This place has pretty much everything you could ask for when it comes to things to do w the family, or friends for the day. Remember, early birds get the worm, when it comes to getting the good spots...

Oh how I enjoyed my family time at the beach. My grandbaby wanted to be buried by dirt,it was so fun.

Trying to get from Richmond to the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps? Why take an Uber when you have the opportunity to wander through the lovely Golden Gate Park?Between the flowers and architectural gems we couldnt have asked for a better morning stroll. At over 1000 acres we saw a small fraction of sites within the park but its definitely somewhere Id visit again and again.

Ft Lauderdale Beach is massive. Lots of parking available and great for social distancing. Beautiful surroundings....as you would expect of Florida!!!!

Beautiful Beach nothing to see like Miami, you can find a lots Bars and Restaurants bike the other side of the beach. The price are $$ Good. Just do not go to late at Weekends if you want to find a public parking that is located just in the beginning of the route.

The beach was almost deserted. But I always enjoyed the wonderful view of the sea, this time, with strong swell, and whipped by strong winds.

Nice beach, plenty of lifeguard stations spread throughout. Has a basketball court which is usually packed. Also has a volleyball net as well as gym equipment for beach work outs. Like a poor mans Venice beach.

Alot of fun at the beach. Great for sports and working out thanks to the open space. Parking isnt too bad, unless it rains. Then its really bad.

Beautiful. Nice areas for picnics or cookouts. Can play volleyball. Beaches always have a wonderful view. Stores and restaurants are in distance. Great hotels. People I met while on my trip were friendly.

Being that we came during the pandemic made the visit less than expect but we will return soon to enjoy this wonderful place. They restaurants, view, and pepe are really nice though.

It’s a great beach. Usually the crowd is okay - but don’t go on spring break because the kiddos are crazy and everywhere. They get the beach really super packed. Really nice to go there and spend the whole day, you can go for a run in the morning. Have some breakfast at one of the many restaurants they have on the beach and then hit the beach.

I prefer this beach myself more than the Miami south beach! With plenty of cheap parking places around, it is so easy to get there! The beach is clean and wide, the sand is white and crystal! The palm trees add a magical sense to the beach! More than one public bathroom/shower available at your convenience! You get the same vibe as Miami beach without all the craziness, as it is more relaxed!

This is where I go to get away for a bit . The restaurants and bars have fantastic ambiance, its great for a short walk in the daytime or nighttime, The hotels in comparison to Miami Beach and the keys are cheaper . If you never been to Florida before youll love it, If you live here already you know its great

I like this beach. The clarity of the water can vary a bit, but theres never enoing sellers on the Beach. And if you are lucky, you can see sea turtles or even a manatee swimming by.

I really love this place. Parking is plentiful. Even on weekends. Its close to the beach which means I dont have to hike every time I visit here. It also is very close to some bars and restaurants, and if you are up for a walk, then you can get to Las olas. The beach has showers, volleyball courts. Basketball courts and picnic tables. The one drawback is that there are no public restrooms. If you need to use one, you can def. Go to the close by outdoor mall, or one of the hotels.

Perfect place to go and relax with some friends, the crowd is varied and depending on the time of the year it can get loud. With the space, outdoor facilities and how well taken cared it is definetly a prime spot in fort lauderdale.

Had a nice Saturday afternoon with the family . It was a bit crowded . Definitely not following precautions that other beaches were.

I prefer this beach over any beach in South Florida. The most amazing place to catch the sunrise or spend a day on the water. Best of all this beach also has showers and restrooms, tables, grills and basket ball courts. There is also a childrens playground area.

The beach is the beach, beautiful as usual. However a lot of gathering with little masks and zero distancing with some groups.

Probably one of the best times Ive had at FTL beach. Especially now with whats going on, was a little worried, so went early on a Sunday. Got to beach by 930 and left by 2pm. Beach wasnt crowded and people were definitely 6ft away from each other. Had a great time with my toddlers and wife!

I love the beach. Parking is not easy to find. At times 20 dollars to park or pay by plate. Garage 5 dollars an hour. Very clean park. Many restaurants and shops. Entertainment. Bars. Great strip. Love the beach. My favorite place to go.

Love the beach, the parking is better compared to other beaches and is easier to find. The park meter machine is currently accepting only bills, or card not coins. They added table benches for seating in the shade . Everyone had fun while still following safety guidelines. Traffic is nice afew buttheads on the road but oh well. All in all its a chill vibe.

Great big beach. Fun playground for the kids. Lots of picnic tables for people to sit at. The sand by the playground is super dirty though. We were covered in soot by the time we left. Not sure what it’s mixed with.

It was nice except for the restrooms are a Disaster ! And it Rained when I was there with out of town guests.

Love that there was not a long line to park. Plenty of picnic tables for people to enjoy. Wish they were more dispersed. The lifeguard staff were on too of there job about the safety due to strong waves this past weekend which was great. There should be more dispersed paybyphone signs. That way people dont have to use the pay booth and it eliminates the covid contact.

There are dumpsters everywhere and some people are getting it trashy. There should be a no littering enforcement. This place is special and beautiful!

ALWAYS a great time! We usually do Dania pier beach but the seaweed is bad right now, kids allergic, and this beach didnt have much at all. Go early to get close parking. Love walking across the street and eating at the Deli Market, got it to go and ate outside on their tables. Walked back and hopped in the perfect water! Not as crowded as usual i suspect bc of covid but people kept their distance nonetheless. Nice change of scenery

Lots of parking,picnic tables,grills,kids playground,basketball,volleyball and exercise court. Lots to do. Very clean and cared for! Dont leave you belongings out of site though,someone may take it...

Enjoyable place and not grossly over crowded by any means. Convenient exercise circuits and courts for basketball and other recreation. Public restrooms and sand rinse areas for your feet at the entrances back to the parking lot. Definitely a beach with a friendly atmosphere and worth visiting

Grew up swimming and coming to this beach home! California’s water temperature and clarity can not touch south Florida !!

This is one of the best parks in Ft. Lauderdale to spend a full day at the beach. It is best to go to this park when there arent any big events happening. When it is to busy and over run it is not the same experience. Great for the kids - play place and a large bathroom facility.

Easy place to park at... they do need to fix the meters, especially for the price they charge!

Went here for the Tortuga Music Festival and well be back. Lots of shops and restaurants to explore. The constant sea breeze helped us stay cool in the warm Florida sun.

Really enjoyed the walk along the beach. The water was warm- it was April. I wasnt accustom to all the seaweed.

Always nice to be on the beach of Ft. Lauderdale. It brings me back to the spring break days of the 80s. So much has changed and it is much more upscale.

I do not recommend this place, be careful with this place, the way of talking to customers is unpleasant, the two women at the reception give false information, even having an appointment for exams and the place smells bad.

Love this beach many things for the kids to do & they enjoy snorkeling near the rocks that washed up. So many fish & barnacles for the kids to explore.

Lovely beach with nice life guards. Kids friendly, there are areas for basketball, volleyball and cool parachute surfers. Clean and spacious.

This is not my favorite beach however I was able to get some nice offshore pictures. But I do like the fact that there are restaurants close by to eat at after being at the beach or if your just walking around.

Very nice beach. Parking was easy. There were not a lot of crowds. There was a lifeguard on duty. There are a ton of shops nearby and plenty of places to eat whether you want a quick bite, seafood, or a fancy sit down restaurant. Every thing is in walking distance.
