Fantastic, creative, accepting environment. The best studio Ive ever seen
Very helpful and great and friendly staff. Great for a first time thrower
We did the Saturday night throw down and loved it. Sue is so helpful and fun. She wants to help you make whatever you want and you get to make three pieces. Great intro to wheel throwing!
Gave the pottery class to my wife for a birthday present. We did the class together and had a great time! What a great Gift Idea!!
Sue is incredible!! A friend and I got to work with her to make some pots, and she was absolutely the most wonderful instructor. 10/10 would take a class with her again!
Walked in here a few times to buy pottery from the space at the front of the building and got drawn in to taking an 8 week class. Have never thrown clay before in my life and Im four weeks in and loving it. The instructors are all very encouraging and have helped me progress far faster than I would have on my own. The price was exceptional for the classes and the experience. 10/10 will take classes again here
Kids had a great time
Super fun Friday Night Throw Down. Got to throw 3 pieces and am psyched about my finished products. Sue is so much fun.
Ive been taking classes here for two years and cannot say enough great things about it. Sue (the owner) is a talented potter and has built a warm community of people who help each other, encourage each other, and who all feel like family. This is a great place to learn a new creative skill, and to find some beautiful pottery for sale!
A lot of fun and a great date night!

Great place for local Art. Check out the unique and amazing pottery from Sharon Davis. Incredible stuff..
I rented wheel time from the owner, Sue, while I was visiting town. She was so accommodating in letting me create in the studio, and even fired my pieces and mailed them to me, since I live out of town! I would recommend this studio to anyone whos ever wanted to try pottery. Everything about it is just lovely.
Sue does a wonderful job teaching classes here. I always look forward to my weekly class. Smokestack has a fantastic community environment that is great for learning. Sue s teaching style is flexible and allows different types of learners to succeed.
