Ran in for a few oil-paint supplies after some late night Bob Ross TV inspiration. Painting has really kept my sanity in tact during the pandemic & so I’m happy to see the precautions in place for COVID and that the business understands they will be better in the long run if we don’t have to shut down (again) and we can all help each other by staying safe, including something as elementary as wearing a mask. I’ll definitely return to Jerry’s before going into the local chain-stores. Thanks for doing the right thing.

We are all this together. Fort Collins requires people over the age of four to wear a mask.I am all for stores enforcing this requirement. Especially for small businesses where a COVID outbreak could close their doors causing loss of income to the owners and to the staff. As for the store, it’s awesome! The staff is awesome and polite! I love this place. Unfortunately I don’t live in Colorado anymore, but when I come back I have a great experience. All of the staff I have in contact with are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Couldn’t recommend this place more, and I would rather support local any day of the week.

Great place well stocked knowledgeable staff.

Went in today for school supplies. The Mgr was very threatening, rude and loud to my 10 & 12 yr old grandaughters because they were not wearing masks. My DIL told him they weren’t required to due to their age. He yelled that he wasn’t going to “turn this in to a political thing” and said the children would have to wait outside. He told us we were not “complying”. We heard an employee and the Mgr. talking in Another area about customers without mask as we walked in, my DIL and I were putting ours on as we entered. Regardless of the mask rule, the Mgr has no right to speak to a child that way and tell them to go stand outside and wait unsupervised on a busy street. Both girls felt extremely threatened by the way he was yelling at them.

Looove this place! The best thing for me is that I can get most of the basic supplies I need for painting silk (besides silk) and dont have to wait for them to be shipped. If I need a last minute color option I can run over real quick and pick something out. I also love browsing as they have a great selection of art media that is perpetually inspiring.

Zoe was VERY helpful as I deliberated over bristle brushes. She gave great advice and had clear knowledge of the products. She also cut a piece of foam core for my glass palette which was perfect. Love the store, selection, and service!

They have a number of great items. For all types of artists. Worth the visit.

For several years, this has been my go-to store for items that cant be ordered wholesale due to unavailability or time constraints, and for discovering new products. Their retail prices are more than fair and they have a wide selection. But the main reasons to go are A) its THE info hub for visual artists in the area, and B) the massive amount of expertise of the staff. Seriously, these folks know their stuff!Their new central location, just off of College Ave. and Horsetooth Rd, is within walking distance of the new MAX rapid transit system and the bike trail on Mason St. Just like the old location, its chock full of professional grade pigments, a decent range of supports, etc. Be sure to keep an eye out for their sidewalk sales, where you can find all sorts of oddments.

Beth is always incredibly helpful. She has a great eye for finding the perfect frame for my paintings. I will continue to choose her as my framer for all my future needs!

Eh. All of the employees were nice, but the supplies are way overpriced. I could some online for about half the price.

Not very good it was cramp, dingy, smelt kinda weird and was overpriced. I got my paint brushes that were okay but over priced for what they were sold as and got out of there.

Great art shop. Extensive selection of supplies, catering more to the artist rather than the crafter. There are plenty of craft related items, but the selection of artist related merchandise is very good for all traditional media (pen&ink, watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic, etc...). The woman in the frame shop is very friendly and helpful, large cotton canvas selection, knowledgeable staff of artists who answered even a few of my tricky questions regarding oil paints, I am happy to spend my money at this place.

I received such amazing service from the staff there. They completed a custom job absolutely perfectly & in record (I mean record!) time. I cannot say enough good things about Beth (! fabulous!) for what she did, and Michelle (whom I think assisted Beth). Alyssa was sweet too. To top it off, they had *all* the items I needed, several things in addition to my custom work... right down to the specialized items I needed. Pricing was much lower than I had expected (honest... especially for custom work). I also want to mention B.J. He was very knowledgable, willing (at closing time too!) & so very helpful; he is who brought me into the store the following day.I was so fortunate at this Jerrys Artarama. My hopeless cause (causes!) became a success story. Many thanks, especially to the above-mentioned staff!!!

Customer service notified about shipping damage (UPS left varnish on sidewalk in front of business...it froze and burst). They wont replace without pics of damaged container, so I would have to open the gooey mess of a box and take a pic. No thanks. Ill shop elsewhere. I bought a large piece of paper for a drawing project. The employee who wrapped it up put two flimsy pieces of tape on it to keep it rolled up. I put it on my table and it unfurled over night causing damage. When I asked Jerrys Artarama for an exchange, they agreed to do so, but they refused to take responsibility and told me they will not let me exchange anything else for the same reason. This is unacceptable of them. Jerrys is haphazard and the employees lack knoweldge on how to care for art. Even the pieces of paper they wanted to give me in exchange were bent and damaged. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Great store, terrible new location

I worked with Beth to re-frame a variety of pieces that were in old, outdated frames. She took the time to understand the style I liked and provided me with a variety of options which we talked through. Beth was careful to make sure the frame and matting complimented the art but didnt distract from it. She was patient and (more importantly) clearly takes her craft seriously. Im very happy with my newly framed art. Id recommend Beths framing skills to anyone.
