The Cameo Theater has a nice, clean interior, friendly staff, and good drink prices. What more could someone ask for? Some shows play in a location which offers table seating too. Nice change from big city chain type theaters. It is a perfect place to take someone on a date.

Loved the nostalgic atmosphere and personable employees. The only drawback was the beggars we had to endure walking from the parking deck to get to the theater. That would be our only reason not to return.

This place is the BEST thing about Fayetteville, and that really is not an exaggeration. The Cameo has the best selection of movies I have ever seen a theater offer. Not to mention the design and charm of the Cameo makes our downtown as a whole so much better! They have an amazing selection of drinks and concessions. My favorite part about the Cameo, however, is the incredibly kind owners and staff that put so much care and effort into the theater. It truly shows how passionate the owners are about movies and the overall movie going experience. This place is such a gem in Fayetteville. I highly recommend going, and going often! I go every chance I get. :)

Definitely the most intimate, cozy place to watch a movie.Easily lends itself as part of a romantic evening. And the only venue in the local area to show lesser known movies such as independent, foreign, documentary, or short films. And they have wine/beer.If you try it youll like it.

I absolutely looove The Cameo and owners Chris & Nasim! They have the most unique films, live music and events at their theater. This is the perfect spot for a downtown date night or after work hangout with friends and coworkers. You can also rent out the upstairs cinema for a private viewing party or the downstairs for larger film screenings, weddings or live music venue.

My favorite movie experience in town, the Cameo never disappoints. They carry indy and international movies (at times with subtitles) that you wont find anywhere else in the area, as well as some more mainstream choices. In the heart of downtown Fayetteville, this theater is a cinematic gem. The second, smaller viewing room upstairs, called the Loge, seats maybe 30 people, and takes the cake for coziness, as its built on the second floor of this historic building. The concessions are also very unique at the Cameo. Besides popcorn, they have a good selection of wine, beer, and gourmet chocolate and treats. Definitely the perfect atmosphere for movies, the grown up way.

My first choice where to see a movie at is always the Cameo. Great selection of varied movies in a beautiful theater, upstairs and down are equally great. The concessions include beer and wine, great popcorn, and chocolate. The owners take pride and great care to bring Fayetteville artful, creative, and interesting movie choices.

Gourmet snacks, craft beer, and an intimate upstairs theater make this far and away my favorite cinema. Theres no chain-theater reheated popcorn, because its made fresh in front of you, and the employees are warm and willing to dish on the latest flicks. I come here for every film I can because it makes the movies feel special again!

This is a great theater and reminds me of movie theaters abroad and in the distant past. It has a decidedly non-corporate feel and has the air of an art house or gallery. If you so choose, you can have a glass of wine with the film of your choice. It all seems much more civilized than the five gallon bucket of popcorn approach. Regardless, I hope they are faring ok with this pandemic and the ensuing economic impact, as this is a gem in the Fayetteville area.
