I love walking through this park with the new paved path! This park has great amenities: basketball courts; a tennis court; volleyball net; playground; and a sand baseball diamond (Parks & Rec, you might want to deal with the weeds that have overtaken the sand). The woods are fun to explore, but beware of poisonous plants, snakes, and coyotes (I havent seen any, but I did see the remains of a domestic dog that I think went missing a while ago). There are also deer in the woods occasionally, and possibly hunters too. There are three geocaches in the woods as well.

This is a small, hidden park with a path that reaches behind some houses in the back of two subdivisions. Not a destination worth driving to because it doesnt have all the things the bigger parks have, but its good for a walk and for kids to play if you happen to live in walking distance.

Great neighborhood park .Word of caution COYOTES.been to this park 15 to 20 times and seen coyotes 4 times.i walk/run my dogs and they 60+ 80 pounds .last visit 2 coyotes trailed us us for a minute or two and ran when they saw me so watch little dogs very carefully

Very nice, and quiet. Theres no main entrance as its enclosed between two neighborhoods. One could view that as annoying but I love it for the fact that it means theres never a ton of people there. For such a secluded park it is very well taken care of

I like this park because it is quiet and not very many people go there. There is a walking trail, tennis cort, basketball court, batting area, and one shelter.

This place has more memories in those woods than words needed.

First off, it has a tennis court and basketball court. It also has a biking and walking lane. And for kids like me, there is a playground. Also included is a creek bridge and a baseball section. Dont forget to mention the massive, and I mean massive field cut out for football. Only con is it can get kinda muddy, and one section of the playground is surrounded by a small body of water. Me and my friends do stuff all the time here, like break phones and blog. It is quite often occupied, so finding company is easy. And that is all I must say about Oakwood park.

Why are there no basketball hoops

Plenty of space. Playground is clean and nice. Has a creek close by. Basketball courts. Never crowded. No parking in the park. Only on the street.
