Right behind hooters, its a fun play area for kids. Clean and quiet engaging. A soccer field next to it makes it more interesting for a visit. Theres a trail connected to the park where we can take some short Stoll. Have seen people taking takeout from Freddys and enjoy their meal in the play area too. Nice getaway.
This is a pretty cute little park in Fairfax city. Its a bit hidden behind fairfax boulevard. Park entrance actually parks you closest to the restrooms and ball field. Theres a bit of a walk on a paved path to the playground itself, so if thats all you want to go to and youre driving, Id suggest parking in between Friendlys and Hooters on Fairfax boulevard. If you dont mind the walk, though, the paths are nice and you can follow them down to another park not to far away. There isnt a ton of equipment at this playground, but its fun stuff most kids would like for a variety of ages. The pavement is spongy stuff that wont hurt much, and they have swings for kids with disabilities.
Appropriate play equipment for the 3&5 yo kids
Big park big playground with soccer park and facilities. Very big slides and fun for all kids
Great place for exercise and walk
Nice place. Quiet. Love the forrest and playground
Nice place for family
There is a large playground for children, a very pristine, single soccer field with man made turf, a path that leads into the woods where you can either loop back out or go down to the creek in Ranger Road Park. They have put plenty of benches around and bathrooms rather than out houses. If you forget snacks or work up an appetite, there is a Freddies. If you have drugstore needs, there is a CVS. Should you fall down ho boom, Patient First is within walking distance and if you REALLY mess yourself up, the fire station is right across Fairfax Blvd. There is plenty of parking.A lot of people protested this park being built. I think its pretty nice. Why not give it a try.
The park is very nice but a lot of middle school or high school play on the equipment since its close to a school. Makes in hard for the little kids to play.
Its beautiful place
The equipment is great for kids of all sizes. It does get pretty hot there in the summer because there is no shade.
Nice location nice park for kids or just to jog.
Perfect playground for my 19 month old to enjoy.
My daughter soccer team played here. it was great because I could take me 3 year old as well because there was a awesome park for him to play in.
Nice new facility, used to be an abandoned quarry. Lots of activities for the kids. Very nice soccer facility, but I think its largely reserved for the Fairfax Police Youth Club (FPYC). They do have restrooms. Handicapped accessible. Adjacent to Accotink Creek stream valley park.
Great playground. It is accessible and has swings for differently able kids. Also has a climbing wall and walking path.
A nice place to run walk and play soccer. Dogs are allowed.
Nice soccer field with a playground over a rubber surface. The playground is a little fat from the parking lot, but if you park by Freddies, it is very close.
Had a great time. This is the first time Ive been there on my birthday.
Nice playground here for my 2 year old. Walking distance to Freddys.
Best family walking spot with a playground
Nice neighborhood park with soccer field, toilets. Playground, walking trails, Pokemon Gym. Walking distance to Rx and frozen custard.
Not really a park: Soccer field. Bathroom building. Pokemon gym. Freddies on one side, tiny natural land strip on the other.
Great place to watch the fireworks
Nice place for the entire family.
Very nice and clean. Bathrooms are open on the weekends.
