Very nice to walk through. This is a photo from just a couple days before writing this, and in that time the paths have been paved over, which is nice to walk/jog on and probably might even be nice to longboard on on a breezy day. People are friendly enough to smile and say hello to in passing. Plenty of points to stop and relax on a bench or just by a creek side and listen to the water. Very pleasant and good for your health/mood. Also nice bit of wildlife: Ive passed deer on several occasions, just walking by. Fish and tadpoles in the water, especially if you venture off trail a bit. I remember seeing beavers and their dams once or twice. Overall, its a very pleasant walk through.
Popular trail right off intersection of Rt 28 and I 66. Goes by a small stream. Relaxing for a short walk.
Google Maps has this Park wrong. There is no picnic area or playground. The picture associated with this trail, cannot be found anywhere on this trail. The entrance to the trail, is not where this park is mapped on google. It really is a small neighborhood trail, without trail parking. Access is easiest through the small park across from the elementary school. (Which does have a playground and a picnic table). Be aware... in many spots social distancing is not possible on this trail. You may need to stand in poison ivy to be 6 feet apart.
I have the luxury of living right next to this trail, my dogs and I love it! We are basically there everyday when it’s nice out. There’s many small spots off the main trail where the dogs can swim and it’s far enough off the path that we can unleash them and let them swim in the stream. Great spot, I just wish there were garbages for poop bags instead of having to carry them the whole way.
Ive always loved walking through the woods. Rocky Run has a gravel path that makes walking easy. It has wide streams with fish, dear, rabbits, beavers, squirrels, and foxes. Its a great place to enjoy a walk.
Incorrect Address. Please note, there is no park on Marboro Lane. The address is incorrect. Access can be found off of Point Pleasant Drive opposite Mayport Lane for the trails. A playground is at Greenbriar Commons park located at 13007 Pt. Pleasant Dr., after the pool and opposite Greenbriar East Elementary.
Love the environment cleanliness and pathways
A dangerous place filled with Charizard and Bulbasaur. Bring your strongest trainers.
Other than being taken to the wrong location by Google Maps, I thoroughly enjoyed my walk through this trail. Its quiet, paved and clearly marked by maps along the route. This is an easy-going walk that you could do with small children and dogs. My suggestion is to park at the Greenbriar Park near the fields and use the crosswalk across Stringfellow Road to start the trail!
Great place to walk and enjoy nature.
Relaxing and Peaceful. ️
Nice place to walk.
Nice for bike rides.
It nice not to long easy going
Great path, pretty with the water, sometimes will flood though so be careful.
Entrances are a little hard to find, but the trail is almost shockingly nice for a park thats buried in Fairfax suburbia.
Good little Greenway with paths for walking, running, or biking. Small Creek runs through it and trees make you feel like you farther into nature than you really are. Nice escape from the city/suburbs.
Great trail, well maintained! Perfect amount of muddy puddles for the kiddo to stomp in. Nicely shaded in the high sun
Nice place for hiking
The gravel trail is hard to bike on but I like seeing all the life in the forest
Okay if you live in the area, i definitely would not make it a destination though.
Fun to ride bicycle on this trail.
Great for nature walks! It gets kinda muddy after it rains though.
Nice foods and drinks and good parking
This trail looked beautiful from the pictures. However I never found it because the address here led to a charming little neighborhood cul de sac, not a park. Whatever you do, do not follow this address!
Nice little park to have a quick run. Very safe area as well.
Good for a walk or a run, wide enough to pass when you run into another person/group.
A beautiful walk and bike path, hidden right in the middle of Fairfax.
A little muddy in the wet season. But peaceful.
Nice venue, drove by
