Small, no trees at dog area, lots of dirt that gets muddy in the rain. One gate doesnt close securely. The rest of the park is very pretty and well kept. Bathrooms are closed.

Its a good park, and kept up on with the surprising number of addicts in the area. I would be cautious with children as I have found needles there on a few occasions. The neighborhood is great though and the locals seem pleasant. Not allot of bigger toys though for older kids so to speak, but a great quick picnic spot! Has handicapped parking but not really accessible place if your in a wheelchair.

Great smaller park. Can be a bit dirty sometimes and homeless have been around before. Love the merry go round that actually goes fast! Hope they don’t ever remove that. The new ones aren’t as fun when they do. Lots of shade on hot days.

Nice little neighborhood park that has a dog and a human section. Plenty of trees, benches, and grass. Kid play equipment is pretty new and still nice.

It was clean. Had toys for little kids. But 2 middle aged to older women were eyeballing people and poking around bushes and looking under things and doing it repeatedly, all while looking around as if they were looking for someone who may have ditched something special. Kinda bad area i guess.

Dog park is smaller and normally quiet, good for my shy dog. Lots of dirt, so either dusty or muddy but has parking, water and places to sit. Good variety of terrain for playing on. Not amazing but pretty good for a neighborhood dog park.

Lowell Park is awesome. Plenty for the kids to do. Clean bathroom. Lots of seating available, covered and open. And a huge area to spread a picnic lunch on the ground or throw a frisbee.

Great park for the kidos. Plenty room too have a birthday party or celebration. Big empty field to the right and a dog park to the left.

te
Review №25

It is a decent park with an older playground the highlight of which is an old style metal merry go round. There are typically not many people here but there always seem to be some odd people hanging out, although Ive never had issues with anyone bothering me. The bathrooms arent great, Id avoid them if possible.

Good place to bring your kids or run your dog.

Je
Review №27

Theres many different seats around the park that have a cool view of the linked-up play structure. Kids can climb from one end of the structure to the other while never setting foot on the ground but seem to be drawn most to the old-school, kid-powered carousel. Nausea be damned, this is a great spot.

Great park on Lowell-Larimer Road right next to the train tracks. Trains go by often and are fun to watch. It has a big well-maintained playground toy. Plus my favorite childhood toy of all time, the run & spin, proudly launching kids from 1980 into now!Good swing set (2 baby swings, 1 hard seat, 1 soft seat) although I wish they had more soft seated ones. Good for dog-walking. Scoop please! Has on-site BBQs and bathrooms -although the bathrooms are closed for the winter. Probably will open soon as its mid-March at the time of this review. Along with lots of tables and benches. Its got a small free parking lot which likely fills up pretty quick in the summer. Plus side street parking in surrounding neighborhoods. 5/5 stars

Lowell park is a great place to bring your kids and dogs. For the children, there are swings, a big play structure and other miscellaneous things like a jungle gym. They also have a tennis court to play on along with a basketball hoop. There is a completely fenced in grass area for the dogs to come play freely off their leash! There is bathrooms and drinking fountains not just for the people, but also the dogs as well!

Good park. Community agreed on hours for safety and fun of all dogs involved (aggressive or single play dogs get early mornings and late evenings) and good park but brought my huskey there once and she found a gap between the retaining wall and chain link to escape so just be cautious if your dog is an escape artist.

Review №50

The lawn in the dog area was clearly not as well maintained as the non-dog area, but it does have a nice space for dogs to run, play and socialize. There were many other big dogs and all owners were super mindful of my 4-month puppy, making sure their dogs were nice (and they all were). Definitely coming back!

The main park is nice but I wouldnt recommend the off leash dog park at one end. The whole place needs hosed down, smells like dog piss baking in the sun. Yuck. Mutt mitts are available here too.
