Free 2-hour parking on the street. Museum offers guided tours (check website for schedule) or you can tour the museum on your own. Staff was welcoming and answered my questions. The Halim Time & Glass Museum is a fabulous place to hold a wedding! We just had our wedding there and could not be happier! Jennifer made everything so easy; she is such a warm, friendly, professional who really knows how to plan every detail of a wedding! Ted, the food and beverage manager was wonderful and on top of everything. My husband and I could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and went off flawlessly! Jennifer and Ted helped us make it all happen. The Halim Museum is also the perfect venue if you want to host the ceremony and reception in one place. We love this place and look forward to hosting an anniversary party here in the future!

Had an incredible time performing at Halims Flamenco Spring event. The space is truly magical and transports you to a colorful world of stained glass and historical time pieces. You must visit!

The stained glass exhibits, by the Tiffany glass company and other masters, was phenomenal! Very good descriptions of how the windows were made and of the scenes depicted. No photos allowed in the galleries, so I only have one from in the lobby. The clocks are on the second floor, and are from a wide variety of places and times.Overall, a little pricey, but well worth it if you like stained glass windows and horology.

This is a must go! Staff is so knowledgeable.l and friendly. Mr. Halim has a wonderful collection that he should be very proud of. It is spectacular! Literally kept say “oh Wow” every time I turned the corner. So much to see along with so much history!

Great museum! Absolutely worth your time. New modern building filled with treasures. The museum staff was very nice. Beautiful time pieces from all around the world and very interesting selection of stained glass. I didnt realize they have their own parking and parked on the street. Next time will use free parking.

Went there for a wedding and enjoyed the view at the rooftop. The bartenders were extremely professional and courteous. They memorized my drink immediately and kept them coming throughout the night. The inside is very beautiful with a long balcony. They had a very nice dance floor and kept the music going till the very end.

The museum is one mans amazing collection of stain glass (much is Tiffany or people he trained) and clocks. My only disappointment was that most were not running, although some had movies of them working.

This place is fantastic, especially the second floor! Spent 3 hours in here with my husband and loved every minute of it!

I cannot properly describe the incredible experience of the museum. One could be overwhelmed by just the historical artifacts from all over the world. However, as astoundingly beautiful as you will find the artifacts, the guides who share the history and background are equally impressive. I have enjoyed the Smithsonian and several other world class museums. This is a gem among gems.

Wonderful staff. Great wedding presentation and veggie offerings. The best atmosphere for a special wedding. Slow elevator, but still great venue for a moderate size wedding. We had valet parking. The rooftop is lovely on a sunny day!

This a great place to visit and take visitors to Chicago area who have seen the big venues. Exhibits were extensive, well documented, and technology easy to use. The automata in the Chinese section was phenomenal- would be great for licensing. Staff available for questions and help. Free parking nearby. Have already recommended the Museum to friends and family.

This is a museum that will become a must see in Chicago travel journals. I have seen beautiful museums around the world, and this one is certainly one of the best. The collection of international clocks is so amazing, so unique, that left us elated and grateful to have come across by fortune with this museum. The window glass pieces are also exquisite and unique, with a great representation of American artist such as Tiffany and La Farge, and many others, including some European representations. It is well explained, has outstanding sound for some of the clocks, and have invested in creating a truly space of high quality art. We enjoyed every inch of the museum, delighted by our good luck in finding it since it has less than a year since its opening. I highly recommend its visit.

Museum is only 2 years old. Beautiful stained glass, glass by Tiffany, and ancient and antique clocks.

My wife and I found the Flamenco event online. We traveled from St Louis to Chicago to attend. We are so glad that we went. The evening was magical. First we must thank Mr Halim for expending the time and expense to maintain these marvelous works of art in the museum. They are startlingly beautiful. Mr. Halim personally greeted us with his endearing and genteel manner. The food, drinks, and staff were wonderful. Our special thanks to David Wolff and Amber. Top notch people. This was several hours of pure pleasure and awe. This was my friends idea and I went along. It was astonishing to see this collection and learn the backstory. I seriously recommend the guided tour. It was outstanding.

I highly recommend the museum and the clock repair service. Cesar does great work and it is hard to find people with these skills. I am sure many of you have old clocks that you have been meaning to restore and now you can.

This exemplifies someone sharing their passion and saving works of art that will become priceless treasures for future generations. Brava!

Amazing museum. It was very interesting and very well done. I highly recommend taking the tour. Our tour guide was exceptional. I didnt expect to learn so much. You can tell this museum is run with love and pride.

This museum lived up to its hype. The stained glass windows were beautifully displayed and the timepieces were displayed in chronological order (what other order would you expect?). You can easily get lost in time here.

The venue on the top floor is breathtaking. I will definitely book it for my next event. Highly recommend.

I went in with low expectations but I was very impressed with the collection, the modern building and the top quality staff.

On a recent trip to Evanston to visit family, my cousin and I explored the Museum. We started with a guided tour of the clock floor, but soon ventured off on our own as we were so transfixed by the displays and descriptions that we couldnt keep up with the tour. What a delight. I highly recommend that anyone in town visit the museum. It is fascinating and unique. We will be going back on my next trip as we felt we had only scratched the surface. I also recommend you dont miss the gift shop. It is small, but full of delightful surprises. The bonus is that all of the staff are knowledgeable and accommodating. A wonderful afternoon adventure.

My husband and I truly enjoyed the museum. The museum is well laid out with a winding staircase. An elevator is available if stairs are difficult for you. I was impressed by the massive clock display. The stained glass windows by Tiffany and La Farge are beautiful. Make sure you take the guided tour for both the clocks and glass displays. Very informative! Dont miss this place!

This is a true gem. It is off the beaten path and doesnt seem like a likely location for an outstanding museum.The stained glass collection is incredible. Every piece has a lot of information that helps appreciation. Kids were encouraged to touch the glass. We all learned a lot about the glass.The time section is equally incredible. My family didnt have the background to truly appreciate the depth of the collection. I will need to do more research and return. The time pieces were incredible but ultimately the shear number overwhelmed my smallest children.

Fantastic museum. Beautiful stained glass, a great Louis Comfort Tiffany exhibit and tons of incredible clocks. The space is lovely and I liked the way the music changed from area to area and that it included traditional music.

A hidden gem in Evanston featuring a plethora of clocks from all over the world - each one featuring unique history.

I was here for a wedding. It was a beautiful venue, with a great space and a very pretty roof. The glass on display was really cool.to look at and I would definitely go back to explore.One word of caution: the elevator is extremely slow for all 6ish floors, so plan ahead of you need to use the bathroom (3rd floor)

My daughter and I experienced several enjoyable hours visiting the museum. Both the exhibits of stained glass, and, in particular, the exhibits of clocks and other keeping-of-time pieces (from all over the world) were fascinating. That we chose the museum for its location -- right next door to the terrific hotel at which I was staying -- was serendipitous.

This is a really impressive museum of Tiffany Stain Glass windows and thousands of historic time pieces. They have organized their collection in a way that lets you experience the progression of time piece craftsmanship over the centuries (including pieces from Napoleon and Catherine the Great, to name a few) and experience the variety of stain glass and other items that the Tiffany family created, such as chandeliers, mosaics, oil paintings, and much more. I was really surprised by the breadth and depth of the collection. They do a great job of providing historical context via plaques.This is a great museum for scholars and families alike. They made it clear that you are welcome to touch the stain glass so as to experience the different techniques of stain glass used to achieve a wide variety of visual effects. There is no touching the clocks but they have them behind glass, so no worries about letting your child explore the exhibits and letting them find their favorites.I didnt explore their event spaces on the upper floors but the photos look great and I can imagine the museum being a spectacular place for an event that caters to the interests of a wide audience.This is definitely worth a visit.

An absolute (local) gem in Evanston. They house a three beautiful rooms: American stained glass, a room focused on Louis C Tiffany, and an extensively large collection of time pieces. I encourage taking the (free) 1pm tour for more info about the galleries. I easily spent 3-4 hours. I really appreciated the highly informative printed and digital signs for each piece, including relevant videos on how some time pieces would work. I look forward to returning.

We feel so fortunate to have found Halim. From initial planning conversations to the wedding itself, the entire staff at Halim proved incredibly helpful, insightful, open, and supportive. The experienced event managers (Jennifer + Amber), along with a world-class food and beverage team led by Ted, made wedding planning incredibly seamless. They were always open to suggestions while also bringing their own expertise allowed us to collectively create a perfect evening. The management team also was ready to help, with Mr. Halim who founded the museum popping in to show support throughout the planning. The family feel of the entire operation brought transparency and trust to an industry usually lacking in both.While these people made my experience so fantastic, the venue itself also deserves high praise. The gorgeous Wisteria room with its tiffany domed glass required very little additional decoration, which saved us more headaches than we can imagine, and the fantastic rooftop (best rooftop in Evanston!!) allowed us to host part of our wedding outdoors without the stress typically involved in an outdoor chicago wedding.That, combined with the all-inclusive packages that cover food, beverage, cake and beyond, decreased the overall burden of wedding planning, as I only had to source a few additional vendors (DJ, Florist, etc.). Event execution also went seamlessly thanks to the experienced team and a number of hands-on event finalization calls. No details were overlooked throughout the process, with all of the event team ready and eager to dedicate their time to a call or meeting to discuss any outstanding items. Im so thankful for everyones support that night and hope other couples continue to experience all Halim has to offer moving forward.

WOW! I was blown away walking through the museum for the first time this morning. I will definitely be heading back. The collection is not only incredible - there are excellent descriptions by each piece, and an engaging traffic pattern flowing and guiding throughout. Im no collector or super-fan of stained glass or clocks, but I was riveted.

A fairly new museum, built for this specific purpose conveniently located in Evanston close to public transportation and walking distance to plenty of eateries and free parking in back. The collection of time pieces and stained glass is extensive and beautiful and the lay out is the best I have ever encountered at a museum. You can meander through the museum and you will not miss anything The staff our knowledgeable and accommodating of any and all requests. A must see!!!!

The most unique museum Ive visited in quite a long time. The 1,100 time pieces and 70 or so stained glass pieces are all literally one familys personal collection, and are beautiful! Well worth the $19 ticket, and more.
