We have been asked to provide feedback for this resort. but when we arrived we were sent to another hotel. which smells terrible. although they invited us to their resort. is this some kind of joke? they said come tomorrow so that we would tell you everything))) but sent us to another place. strange0 stars

Still beautiful but restaurants are closed and swimming pools require reservations. Gyms are also closed. One pizza restaurant is open

Beautiful grounds. All employees have been very helpful and gracious. The service at the Grille was a bit slow, but the food was awesome!

Its amazing soooo relaxing and the staff there are absolutely gracious....I loved it!!! I loved it so much that I am already going back the following week .

First time here, we love the grounds, outstanding!; the activities, especially for the kids. 6 pools to close from, bein Mountain Hills the best the variety of events every night. We hope to return some day

Stayed six days in a large one bedroom on a RCI Points exchange. Clean comfortable room with a Lanai/balcony overlooking the golf course. Myself and my neighbor both had trouble lighting the barbecues - could only get two burners going. Nice distribution of pools including one good lap pool. Jacuzzis were nice and warm.

Very well kept resort. Lots of swimming pools & whirlpools. Saunas. Top quality equipt in workout room (though needs more). Good flea market while there with decent prices. Great location for going to the beach near Oceanside, or San Diego or a wine tour out of Vista area. Nice golf course.

I can appriciate the property under normal conditions..however under current COVID restrictions....they are a tad overcrowded and my family and i felt uneasy....they we kund enuff to give us a raincheck for a later time. That i we are looking forward too

Chorus Line was Spectacular and Theater is a Nice Intimate Theater. For the money, this place is a great bargain. They have top notched performances in a nice setting.

We are Welk Platinum Owners and had the great fortune today of seeing. A Chorus Line from the second row, the theater is incredible. This is a show about a show, dancers and singers auditioning to be in a Chorus Line on broadway. The director lines everyone up, they dance and sing and the great part is he interviews each one of them and makes them dive into their pasts from childhood and much emotional stuff comes out. I left the show with tears in my eyes, that was how great the show was. Several very experienced cast members and several very talented current or just recently graduated theater arts degrees in the cast. This show just affirms why our family feel in love with musical theater so many years ago. Great job Welk Theater.

We had a nice stay. Our rooms were comfortable, the kitchen area had plenty of cookware and dishes. There were swimming pools, and a hot tub. I enjoyed walking to the little shops area in the morning, and looking at the nice fountains and planting areas.

Mamma Mia!!The acting was good and the singing very nice. You’ll laugh and enjoy the spectacular show!

Went to see Menopause the Musical for girls night out. We all laughed so hard, what a fun night! The theatre is relatively small; I dont think theres a bad seat anywhere. Weve been to other productions here and they have all been spectacular.

There is an awesome amount of leg room in the seating in the theater. The shows are great.

Dont let their marketing trick you into going to preview their resort in exchange for a free vacation somewhere extraordinary. They make a lot of empty promises and wont give you any details until you show up at the resort. We were told wed get two free flights to Hawaii and 2 nights free stay, with the option of extending the trip with discounted prices for accommodations, just for showing up and seeing the place and telling our friends about it, with no obligation to buy. At least they cant force you to buy anything, but they try awefully hard to get you to sign up for *something* so that they can then pester you into upgrading. When we didnt sign any contracts, then they told us rather brusquely that our free Hawaiian vacation was a flight late on Tuesday to Hawaii with return early the following Thursday morning, giving one day to spend in Hawaii, and they wont even confirm your travel day or flights until possibly a few weeks in advance. Youre also not guaranteed to get the days you request. At this point we said good riddance and never even tried as it sounds like the travel company you have to book through doesnt return calls, wont confirm anything, and requires you to send more money before they even tell you your flight details. The whole thing is a scam.

It was the Welk Resort not the theater that I stayed at. It had fabulous grounds, five rec centers, restaurant, shops, activities, many pools and spas, three golf courses, tennis courts and even a street fair. Our favorite vacation spot.

Was very nice. They have made nice improvements to the theater. The Mama Mia show was awesome! The cast was great especially Sophie ! The music was great considering it was only a few musicians. Very reasonably priced for such a quality musical ! Keep up the good work, currently they are doing 5 shows a week.

Great Expensive place. Talked my 20 year old grandson into spending $559 a month. He doesnt even have a job. We are trying to sell it now.

Had No reception on my cell phone had to walk outside to make, get calls,told front desk, they did nothing about it. Pools were nice, splash pad was fun.

Saw magician that was very good. Also saw Mama Mia that was excellent. Women singers were all fantastic. Theater is small but cozy. Lobby is a tribute to the founder of the resort, Lawrence Welk.

The room left my childrens feet black, no excommunication. Waited 2 hours for the shuttle, guy says he had to take his break suppose no one to cover him? Staff was a bit rude, got shunned for asking if they had a book of matches. Ill never spend my money or time there again.

The hotel has ton,of spider webs. On the kids toilet flush handle there was poop stains. Immediately, I call the front desk and took pics. The hotel didnt do anything. They said the house keeping is a totally different company/department and that different company didnt call us 3 days. The day before we were leaving/check out the hotel she called and just apologized. So, nice big rooms. Looks clean however it is not at ALL

I LOVED IT ITS THE BEST I HAD SO MUCH FUN AND THE FOOD IS THE BEST IN SDCA FOR THE MONEY YOU CANT GET BETTER THAN THAT NO WAY you should go and see for yourself you will love it ALL I know you will we did and so will you please go its the very best....

Had a great time! Saw musical Menopause & had a great lunch with Womans Club bus trip Sat 5/10/19!

Fun place to stay. Weve been here for 5 days, out of the 5 days, we have had 2 good nights, nice comfortable, beautiful view UNTIL someone checked into the room above us. They are constantly walking back and forth, sounds like they rearranging the furniture. They take a dinner break and start back up around 9pm until around 11:30. Then its quite time.

Rooms okay could be cleaner the grounds needMore lights at night it gets very dark and reception front desk workers (some are rude!!) Go back to No liquor at children pools

Had a wonderful time at the welks resort! They are close to Casinos and wine tasting, they had a lovely Farmers Market, and we really enjoyed the Mama Mia musical show!! Oh and the room was very nice. Very enjoyable!!

Family oriented place ever to stay at or just w a set of girlfriends! We had a great time here. Pool areas are great! The market has wonderful stuff! & the entertainment was AWESOME!

Nice resort. Nice little theatre. Lots of resort activities to do. Some cost money and some are free. Some for kids, teens and adults. Just dont buy condo from them. Way cheaper to buy online from someone selling.

Had friends and family here the day before our wedding, awesome pools, a slide, and great service.

Saw mama mia here. Show eas amazing. Concessions sucked and there werent that many choices, but we went to their convenience store and got icecream. Fun show and great set.

My daughters unit is fabulous. The restaurant is not very good anymore.

Saw the show Mama Mia. Have seen this show in several venues. Theatre is very comfortable and almost all seats have good view. The cast was one of the best.

Theater is located close to the highway. The production theyve put on have always been very enjoyable. Plenty of parking for the theater.

The atmosphere is great and the theater has a charm to it. The Lawrence Welk secure reminds you of days gone by. The concessions leave a lot to be desired. On the night we attended they were not open. Last time we were there the selection was small. Overall, great place to go watch a performance.

As a senior citizen, I feel that they should of put us in a place which would have readily been available to a vehicle. We had to park down the block and accross the street. Not real happy.
