The preview center is for a sales pitch on becoming owners in the Welk Resort properties. Facility is nice. Pool is nice with cabanas for rent, lounge chairs with umbrellas, water slide, splash pad, and small hot pool.

Very pushy sales. I went for what I thought was to tour the resort... for what was supposed to be a 2 hour tour. Turned into a 4.5 hour battle. Was very close to closing a deal due to the sales tactics used despite not wanting to and they told me if I didnt sign then I could never come back. I was there with my 4 month old baby and I pump his breastmilk and needed to get home and also didnt eat that morning and they had zero respect for my time.

Mason was fantastic, - we didnt get anything, just because we cant, but would come back and ask for him when we do!

What an amazing experience. Super nice staff and great presentation. We have had a program and upgraded. We love the memories we have been able to create and wanted more of it. For anyone that travels this is a must.

Nice place to stay for a few days great pool side with two great jacuzzis. Great little pool side to buy small pool items. The cabana rentals are to pricey though. If a stay at resort I dont want to pay more comfortable chairs and sun protection.

Beautiful area. If you have a good income, buy a timeshare!

Our 120 minute tour turned into 180+ minutes. The sales lady was nice enough but after we repeatedly said we werent interested she brought in a higher-up to try again to talk us into something we said repeatedly wasnt for us. He spoke in a condescending manner when we said we preferred RV camping over resort vacations and kind of mocked us that our choice for the free gift for attending was a cruise! Then he asked us to day nice things about them!!Hmmmm....

Very Beautiful Villas but the experience there was awful since I signed up (Audition member) to Welk Resort I been lied to about my points nd equity rolling over. They basically told me what I want to hear to sign up nd took my money with the quickness then later had a totally different out from what I was told in the beginning. Have to report this to BBB Very upset with all of it

Its cool for a family time

Facility is beautiful, however, if you go to participate in the sales presentation be prepared. You are told no high pressure will be used on you and if after the presentation it doesnt feel right just walk away. Nothing could be further from the truth, we were there for 5 hours and when it came to signing up for purchase high pressure tactics were in full force. I would have loved to have signed up but the timing just wasnt right now for us. Told sales person this and he would not take no for an answer. Told sales person I had a doctor appointment which I needed to leave or belate. Didnt care just spoke over me. Never received free gifts. Beware of this operation

Stood there 6 hours being drilled why i should buy in and become a ownerseen that as unattractive and in turn made the visit unpleasant.also didnt hear much or see any type of pictures of mr . Welk and yet its his resort.Didnt seem right...

Went to a timeshare presentation almost almost bought into a 10yr mortgage again. They tell us that Welks is the #1 in resort business destination. I thought Hawaii and Disney were. I really dont think they are, if you find yourself in my position find out before you sign.

The pools are fun with the slides for kids. There is a kids area for them to run through the water. Pools are small for the amount of people there. Food is way over priced!!!!! $100 a meal per family on average!!! EXPENSIVE. FYI... BYO food.

If you are here, you are likely walking the edge of time share land. Its beautiful but not for everyone.

Attended an informational meeting & tour at Welk Resorts. What was advertised as a 2-hour tour turned out to be a 3.5-hour ordeal wherein the salesperson made us feel stupid and foolish, gave multiple backhanded insults, and didn’t watch the road while driving the golf cart.Know what you’re getting into. It’s probably not worth it.

We heard about this through the county fair. The facilities looked great and in a new section of campus. The sales person we meet with (Stephanie) provided a great presentation. However, we decided not to buy at this time. They do have great partnerships for trading points and werent overly pushy. Downsides would be that we were told its a 2 hour presentation, but even without purchasing it was still 3 plus hours. Youre told before the presentation/tour of the options of goodies just for attending, but of course theres restrictions on them (probably to be expected) and theyre in no rush to bring them to you. Still, while not being experts at the timeshare game, this does seem like a great place of youre in the market for a higher tier property.

So the Welk Preview Center was a neat building, super nice and all, but the preview left a sour taste in our mouth. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms our amazing, but our Rep. was not very nice once we said we werent going to buy the timeshare. The tour was supposed to take 2 hrs. maybe 2.5 hrs, but she kept talking and talking and we were there for 3.5 hrs. We had other stuff to do and had to leave so we really cut it short at the end and the rep did too. We were polite about needing to leave and she treated us like we were wasting her time. She told us that we were burning bridges by coming in for a preview and not buying the same day. She said if we ever are going to buy a timeshare we better stop shopping around because well lose out on opportunities.

The salesperson rita was very good at her presentation and the resort is great, take a tour

We were told the presentation would take one hour, then we were told two hours. We were there for seven hours.

I have been a Welk owner for 14 years now. I cant believe I cant bring food and drinks to the pool for us and our friends. We used to be able to BBQ by the pool. The overpriced food and drinks Welk provides are a joke. Time to sell.
