Cool place just the right size if youre not look looking for a huge waterpark. Food priced a bit high (but thats to be expected at a place like this). I saw then wiping high traffic areas (like stairways, counters, etc.) often. Staff had on masks overall cool place and they were practicing covid safely guidelines

Kids loved it. 15, 10, and 7- left mostly to their own devices.Free $10 arcade card for each ticket was a nice touch, great way to get you into the arcade! (It would have been nice had this card also been able to be used for food, as Waldameer does with their freebie cards). The water slides were fun... beware the a Hurricane Hole!Lazy River is short, but fun.Wave pool is awesome, as is the flow rider. Was nice hiding from the kids in the 21+ hot tub.Place seems in need of some general maintenance.... you would think they could afford some upkeep at prices they charge. Concrete seal (paint?) is peeling and bubbled in many places all over the floor, and saw several places where rust is coming through on steps (and Im not talking some surface rust... this is deep, deep pitting that says throw these stairs away!!) as well as cracked railings that made one a bit nervous.Pizza from Surf Bar was quick, but burnt cheese isnt the best, but this was the cheapest option for feeding 5. Their fries were good, as was the hot pretzel. We loved the strawberry daiquiris!

For the amount of money I have spent on this trip- I am not “over the moon” satisfied. The splash park, while nice, was dirty. There were disposable masks littered all over the place and while waiting in line the top of the slides were covered in filth along with the window sills as you walk up. My family & I stayed in Hawthorne Suites & while it was a decent sized room our air conditioning broke at some point during the night making it difficult to sleep. In the morning I called the front desk and the woman said she would put in a maintenance request. A man named Mike then came to my door and said, “Oh. I have you down as being checked out already.” I informed him that we were not leaving until tomorrow (this was Saturday- we paid until Sunday.) I then told Mike our ac was broken. I believe he did everything he could for us in this situation & if it wasn’t for him I would have had to complain continuously if he didn’t check to see if our room was occupied. Then again someone knocked on my door only to say the same thing “Oh we thought you were checked out.” There’s obviously some miscommunication in this hotel. We did end up getting a new room but for the price of the 2 nights I would have appreciated some kind of compensation for having to pack up and move 2 floors and at the opposite end of the hotel. I’m not exactly pleased, but I’m not angry either. I know sometimes things happen but it would nice to be appreciated or feel that my business is valued.

My husband and I recently visited with our 7 year old son, who has not had much to do since COVID. We purchased the package with the 2 night hotel stay, and although my son loved the park, the hotel (Hawthorn suites) was a nightmare and did not make for a fun visit. When we initially arrived, our room was not available- which was fine, because we had been expecting a later room arrival (4:00 pm). We were given tickets and allowed right in the park. At 4 pm, eager to check in, we went back to the main lobby only to find a line about 15 people long also desiring to check in, with one person- a wonderful woman, BTW, named Brittany- working the front desk. We wasted over an hour here. After finally getting our room key, we went up but found that our room had a full, overflowing garbage from the prior occupants, a ton of half eaten food in the fridge, and a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Not what we wanted to find during a pandemic and for the price we paid for the room. My husband put the garbage outside the room but since there were no extra bags, had to wait another half hour in line for a new one. As far as the dirty dishes, I just left them and told my son not to touch them. Last, the bathroom was dirty and I will simply say that it was clear that the toilet had not been fully scrubbed . On the second day, we went to the splash park and returned to our room only to find that our keys had been invalidated despite the fact that we still had an additional night. No big deal, except my husband was forced to wait in line yet again to get it taken care of. My son had a ball in the splash park, but overall we were disappointed with the amount of money paid and the stay itself simply due to the fact that we lost a lot of time and obviously full COVID protocol was not followed for our room.

The waterpark seemed high price in relativity to other resorts within a couple hours, but wasnt too much to cancel our getaway. There are signs posted everywhere for people to wear masks on common areas, but other than the food line it wasnt mandated, which was offsetting. The Saturday we went also was very packed to where you really couldnt get 6 feet away from people, as if they didnt cap the entrance limit, and no attendees were walking around seperating anyone. Past this, the park was clean and well kept, but the covid issues were disturbing at this point in time.

Planned a day there for my sons birthday today and they say they are COVID-19 prepared. There was not enough tubes for people to ride most of the rides they closed pools and employees were not really sanitizing. People were carrying around tubes and holding them and none of the workers said anything just said had to wait for someone to lay them down and most were deflated. No one was six feet apart and terrible manners. I understand the provisions but we paid the same amount and nothing was as it was advertised.

I’m giving this one star, only because it disappoints me the amount of things that are broken or don’t work properly. I went here as a kid and it was a blast I just took my kids here over the weekend and we had a blast BUT there’s countless things that are broken and that’s just lack of maintenance or laziness. Scott enterprises has money, and this is a really cool thing for erie to have I just hope they fix it back up before it turns into another great thing erie had that went down hill because of lazy maintenance. I will say the new Flowrider was supper sweet and a great addition to the place, but I also know what they cost and that just further illustrates my point. Fix the place up.

Staying here now! Overall not a bad experience could definitely use some updates but overall okay. One specific lifeguard certainly needs to find a new job as when working the flowrider she spoke in a very low voice in a very loud building and got upset when a CHILD could not hear her. We travel all over to indoor water parks and have never had a bad experience with lifeguard personality!

Day pass prices are bit high compared to other indoor water parks at Niagara. Overall this park seems bit of upgrades and maintenance done. It has swimsuit dryers that dont work, paintwork peeling off and a general overall ambience improvement. Good thing is that the parking is free which is uncommon at such theme parks. Peace bridge duty free sells nice package for Splash Lagoon which gives you 2 day water park access and 1 night stay all for a very low price of around USD$170.

This is a great place to go for our family because it’s rather local and isn’t too far of a drive. It does get extremely busy and can be a little stressful if you have smaller children. Wait times in time aren’t too bad though. I’m giving it 4 stars because I wish there was a little more walking room. It seems to be cramped when there are a lot of people. My kids love coming here and want to come at least once a year. They offer food and have a game room as well. It’s attached to a hotel on one side and a restaurant on the other. I like that you really do not have to leave the location and you can stay inside for a weekend if you’d like. There’s a ton of things and places to go if you choose to venture out. It’s near a lot of major food chains and shopping centers.

1st time going, we had a blast! Few things I would suggest would be to get more tubes!! You need tubes for 1/2 the rides and there just isn’t enough for everyone. Adults were hoarding the tubes while their children were playing in the kiddie section(or sections that don’t require tubes), 1 parent had his stacked next to him as he drank a beer. We all pay a lot of money to ride the rides, we need tubes to do so! Wish the water was a little warmer. The absolute worse is the people that don’t pay for lockers that put their stuff all over the tables and chairs to claim them! It’s just not right. I paid for a locker and because I did, I don’t get to eat at a table? But the people who didn’t get to claim a table and use it whenever they like? They need more staff to walk around and get stuff off the tables for families to eat their food. Food was good and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly.

The kiddie area was so packed my 1 year old didnt get to enjoy anything. We tried to go to the wave pool but was told that she needed a life jacket but I wasnt going to use one of the ones they had because we saw other kids just take them off and they were not sanitized. Nobody was social distancing and not one lifeguard said anything about it. The wave pool had bandaids floating around and it actually hit my son. There was used masks on the floor and didnt seem like anyone was cleaning. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Biggest issue is NO TUBES. Why are you allowing people to horde tubes all day? I walked around for 2hrs trying to get a 2 person tube, when I asked about getting one the lifeguard said you just have to take one. The tubes should be taken from the riders as soon as they get done with the slide. Another idea get separate tubes for the lazy river. This way you can free up more tubes for rides. Also remind your lifeguards to watch for kids just running up the steps, cutting the line and jumping onto slides.

We immediately packed up our belongings and stayed in our vehicles until the splash park opened. They say the splash park was 84 degrees internally but this was not the case and I am sure others that visited this park would say the same. Absolute worst water park experience of my life. Covid-19 sanitation and social distancing were loosely enforced if at all. Three water slide rides’ lines were on one narrow set of stairs. Lifeguards allowed people to walk past others standing in line with rafts, making for close interaction with strangers. Tables were never wiped. And to top it off, a lifeguard gave my turned in lost Apple Watch to a girl standing in line near where it was left. My watch was stolen and ditched on the highway, never to be found. We were unable to use our package inclusions due to the theft incident and lack of time therefore. And if you DO choose to go anyway, I wouldn’t recommend staying in their holiday inn extension. Our room was filthy and covered in corn kernels upon check in. Our ice bucket was previously used as a popcorn bowl and had butter and kernels throughout. Obviously they are not sanitizing commonly used items within the rooms. We got the suite which included a whirlpool tub. Tiny bugs crawled out of the jets. Don’t waste your money.

We love splash lagoon! My husband turns into a little kid the moment we step thru the doors, lol the kids are free to roam (ages 13) & I feel safe letting them do so....theres plenty for them to do while I relax in the wave pool area, which is my favorite place....the slides are fun for people of all ages....they have an adult hot tub which I think is nice cuz it gives the adults someplace quiet to hide for a few minutes without the buzz of kids ha ha we usually plan 2 trips once a year just for a weekend get away :)**complaints**The overall chlorine smell hits ya as soon as you enter, it definitely needs better ventilation...Ive gotten headaches from the smell alone, I understand the need for it to keep the water clean & safe but whoa, its overpowering....They moved the bar upstairs from the wave pool area, which means by the time you walk up & get your drink & then walk back to wherever your going to drink it at, its warm! It was a better situation to have it in the wave pool area, I feel.....The price.....I feel is alittle too high...2 drinks for the kids was over $8! We usually dont buy the food there cuz the price to feed a family of 4 has been upwards of $40-50....even the gift shop is too high priced, a sweatshirt is $45...I just cant justify spending that much on a shirt with the splash lagoon logo....So, pack a lunch in the hotel & go to the local Walmart for a souvenir Erie shirt & enjoy the day at splash lagoon!
