Lit up very beautifully. Girlfriend and I went and snapped some candid photos in front of the super large Christmas tree!Checked out the different monuments and read the placards and learned some really cool things about the city. Had many tributes there as well, and we paid our respects.Very peaceful!

Both sides of the street look really nice with all the improvements theyve made over the years. I enjoyed bringing my daughter here throughout the summer to cool down in the fountain. I also love checking out the Xmas lights during the holiday season, whoever decorates it does a wonderful job!

It looks very nice at night but honestly it could use some moral lamp post running through the park so it makes it a little bit brighter so people feel more safer

Perry Square Park a very cold night but no snow. It was nice for a walk. Enjoing the Christmas light at down town.

Erie Philharmonics Beat Beethoven concert and race was enjoyable and exciting for friends and families.

Beaver on the whole is a very quaint town

Small quiet area. Fountains are not running due to covid

Cleaned the park up. Went for gears and grub. Good entertainment and great food. Parking is an issue though. No available handicap parking. Seemed to be a lower turnout than when it was at the West Erie plaza. Would like to see it moved to somewhere with better parking. Otherwise it was very enjoyable.

Nice quant little park.

The wall and first couple benches is full of drunks and various high individuals. But after that the fountain is so beautiful and a welcomed relief in the summer. Oh and check out the fountain at night, gorgeous.

I came up for Rib feast . And wanted to try my fat tire bike out in the sand.

Perfect for a walk, or to sit and read a book. In the heart of downtown Erie, PA. Adjacent to Eries restaurant row (Soul food, Thai, all-American diner, Indian, Mediterranean, Irish, Mexican). Park is part shaded, part sunny and has a beautiful fountain and smooth walkways. Pretty in every season!

Too many homeless people around and too much panhandling to enjoy the day. Right next to the police department so I felt somewhat safe. Too much trash and beer bottles, plus cigarette butts everywhere. They need to have some activity going and some cigarette cans to handle the homeless and their disregard for the beauty to be seen.

A beautiful city square, with monuments, trees, paved walkways, plenty of sitting benches, and a stage. Bicycle parking, via a rack, is present but minimal. Metered motor vehicle parking around the perimeter. No restrooms.This is a nice place for a casual stroll or to think quietly.

Relaxing free place to hang out that attracts many locals and tourists. Close to many Erie attractions and restaurants. Quick note: watch out for panhandling.

Cute little park! The fountain is a great way for kids to play with and cool off during the summer months, especially because theres lots of kids there to play with. Lots of weird homeless people activity though, and drunks.

A nice park with a fountain for the children in the summer. Lots of shade for those hot days when it is nice to just get outside and enjoy the fresh air. During the day there are a lot of Court House, Erie Insurance, employees and college students. Lots of places within walking distance for those Pokemon Go players. In the winter you will most likely be able to have a snow ball fight, or try building a fort or snow angels with the kids. Lots of Memorial Markers for those history buffs.

I was here for Rib Fest recently. Absolutely worth checking out if youre in the area. The food is really good!

Great place especially when there is an event like celebrate Erie. Thank you to the erie police department and sheriffs department for keeping us safe. It was so much fun and enjoyable.

A great place to hang out for a few hours. They should really take the prison bars off of the stage though. Its pretty tacky.

Perry Square used to be so much nicer. But the Morons in the Erie city government not only screwed it up but installed a stage that they keep locked up that has horrible sound for any act that plays there. These people should be imprisoned for spending the type of money they did that takes away all the charm, beauty, and trees in the park. Erie is a dying city and I will be happy when it takes its last breath!

Its a pretty public park. Its got a few simple sidewalks to stroll through the space. Its got two halves with features. One side has a stage for events and the other side has a fountain. The park benches make the space feel cosy, and the new design really feel like a town center. I especially loved the new Christmas tree lighting event!

Awesome place to visit for anyone new to Erie. It’s got a water fountain that you can play under. Not to mention insanely fast free WiFi. One of the best places in Erie. Highly recommend giving a go.

Open public place welcome to all people all times of the day. Simmer events, and random activities for kids. Fully secure as a police station sits to the west, plenty of downtown dining, transportation, and small shopping needs accommodated.

I wouldnt say I loved the park. But the band was good. But the crowd was small. We did not know they moved the Roar on the Shore bike week to the L.E. Speedway.

Coolest spot in the downtown area. Lots of shade and you can run through the waterfalls if youre still too hot! Its very beautiful at night too as they Light It Up!! You can also pick up free Wi-Fi if youre running low on data. So stop on by and chill night or day

It was Roar on the Shore 2018 & there were bikers everywhere!! First time I felt Goodness & a sense of Peace everywhere in a very long time! Everyone just fell into place & enjoyed the afternoon... Nice upgrade to fountain but it was closed off from use. All n all it was a wonderful day!

It used to be a great Park but with all the Junkies and unfortunately homeless people that hang out there its just sad, you feel uncomfortable being down there period but especially with your kids. Weirdos trying to holler at you the whole time its just not a good time. Eries not very comfortable place anymore.

This year the Perry sq. park was in use as a food tk. event . really a financial blow to the local store owners and not to mention the loss at the speedway which will be in the tens of $1000s dollars . sorry for losses to those benefits or programs that do so much for the city . RETHINK NEXT YEARS ACTIONS . PLEASE .

Lots of fun when theres some sort of event going on. Celebrate Erie, Rib fest, Roar on the Shore and others festivities. When theres no festivals going on its mostly Gannon students, Erie insurance employees, Court house people, Pokémon players and random Erie folks. Many places close by for good food and affordable drinks.

Perry Square is a delightful place to see in Erie Pa. There is a beautiful fountain that is a marvel to see at night with its ever changing lights. We have many of factions in the suffer there and in the winter we have holiday lights and a large tree all lit up it is a vertual winter wonderland land at Xmas.
