So, there is one thing to know before you go to the park, rain, if it rained recently you don’t want to be anywhere near there, they literally built the park there because they had nothing else to do with the land and couldn’t build houses. The park has very nice fire works on the forth of July, walking trails, and a small play ground with plastic climbing walls, and swings. (Sometimes the swings have been vandalized and taken down.)

Caught my pb on 9/8. So fair to say I had a great day of fishing and enjoying the beautiful weather. Park was very well maintained aside from general litter at the park picnic area; even with there being a trashcan provided at picnic tables. Very pretty to go for a walk or to hang at the picnic tables and kill some time.

This park is horrible. I was there for my sons football game and lets just say that I definitely wouldnt go to that park other than today because I had to. I had to run to my car during the game to snap on some random guy sitting on my car and looking in my car with his friend. I wouldnt recommend this park to anyone. I wouldnt even take my 8yr old to play on the playground. There are better parks than this one

I went to find some privacy, so I could watch a sermon on my phone. Found a vacant pavilion and logged on. God is good.

Great place to go relax eat,watch the kids play.theres a small playground for all ages and some swings.Also if you have a hobby,r.c.planes,drones etc as long as you know how to handle your equipment your good to go.

Large park with a lot of playgrounds, placed to sit, a small track to walk, and lots of shady places to sit. Playground has some wear and tear but kids dont care.

Nice quiet place if you like to jog or walk for exercise.playground for the kids and places to barbecue,picnic benches and pavilions also available.

Good park. Only thing i dont like is that its only a one way and people have to drive on the running/ walking track to come in and out. Sometimes people drive to fast and have no consideration for the people walking/ running on the track. Someone can get hurt that way.

Close to home......My sister and I would walk the mile long park. Much cleaner than 6 yrs ago. I now have grandchildren 1 and 3 yr old boys. I noticed there are too many wasps in the play area ......HELP!

This place is horrible. It’s loaded with junkies shooting up. My son steps out of the car and spots a needle laying in the grass. Not to mention vehicles fly past you at 45 mph almost hitting you. This town has went down the tubes. Not a safe place to take your children.

Meadow park is a great park for your whole family. Its very peaceful and very clean!

This park has a couple nice playgrounds and a track. Plenty of open space. Unfortunately it has always had a problem with the stream overflowing and causing lots of muddy areas. Town if Elkton continues to battle this issue. Visit when its dry and sunny.

What else can you do with a floodplain? This is a nice park when its dry with a nice long walking path around its perimeter. However stay away when its just a day or two after heavy rains. Very muddy and swampy then.

I really like the track, great for walking the dog.

Its always flooded and their needles everywhere from drug users that are close by.two weeks ago I could have sworn that I walked by and seen a couple of tents from homeless people staying in the woods close by. Its not a very safe place to take your children due to all the attics.

Great pkace to exercise and take a walk. Its exactly 1 mike around the track. Scenic view.. Good pkace to take the kids or grand kids..volleyball nets. Clean restrooms. Teach your kids that its good to be outside playing instead of having their heads stuck in electronic devices...ride a bike, or just play catch. Offer pavilions and outside grilling...nice pkace to have family get togethers, reunions, BBQ...whatever...and the 4th of july fireworks are awesome as well!!!!

Great place to take the kids so they can play. Is also a great place to take your dog and go for a walk. You can walk or run on the walking path that circles the park. You can have an outdoor party here. They have covered pavilions with picnic tables so u can set up your food and also have places to sit and eat. The only thing is that they dont have grill areas tho.

Nice park! A lot of open field. Great prices on renting the pavilions (if you live in the town). There isnt that much parking, but the park is barely every jam packed which is fine. Beautiful scebery!

Meadow Park is a pretty good place tell you when to take kids in Stall as long as youre okay with plain and you know it in a mud around all the playgrounds and everybodys trash I thought at first maybe they relocated the landfilll of Cecil County...

Howards Pond Park in Elkton, Maryland is a very relaxing and lovely park to have a luncheon. Its quite easy to get to this park from Newark, Delaware driving on Old Baltimore Pike toward Maryland. I was left in deep awe at the very expansive lake that encompasses the entire park and I marveled at the tall trees. It was a great experience.

Its a good park to walk or run on a track but the play area for kids is a little lacking. Kids still enjoy it but it could be better.

Well kept, lots of open space, has a track for running or biking on, a few trails for hiking, an enclosed area for dogs, and some playground for kids. My only complaint is the lack of water fountains.
