Fun park. No RR or drinking water tho
For all the reviews it gets about how wonderful it is its really not that great of a place.
I stopped to take my dog for a walk and the place was beautiful. Well kept and a simple family park. My only grievance is the irresponsible pet owners who dont clean up after their pets poop. I noticed the park did not have a doggie bag stations as in other parks out of town, might help since others dont seem to carry there own doggie bag with them as I do. Otherwise a beautiful quiet park with view of the mountains.
Haddox family park is located off Radford in a wonderful neighborhood. Tha park offers to sets of playgrounds, one for children ages 2-5 and the other bigger set (picture is in this review) for ages 5-12. The park also has a basketball court, numerous benches, tables and chairs. There is also a decent piece of land covered with grass suitable for picnics, birthday parties and of course for children to play on.The Haddox Family Park was named after the Haddox family, the patriarch of the family Dr. John (Jack) H. Haddox was a beloved and longtime professor (58 years to be exact) of philosophy at UTEP. He and his wife Carmen had 11 children who grew up loving the fine arts. Mostly all followed in their Fathers footsteps becoming educators in El Pasos numerous school districts and community colleges as well as sharing his view of social justice. So much so that one of his children grew up to own a store which sold socially conscientious items, Visions. This is just a short story about the Haddox family, I wanted to share this for those who are curious about who this park was named after.

It’s a small park overall but there’s a nice green area for our puppies, they loved it. We will definitely be back!

Rocks are too big for a kids park.
It is a beautiful little park. Great for just a walk or to bring the kids over to play at. Its in a odd area, but the way it was built makes it safe for children and beautiful.
Fun place, needs more shade during the day. The evening mountain view is magical.
Nice area to have a picnic no doggie bags for furry friends so bring them
