Its a park. Has equipment for kids. A small seating area thats covered. An open field that doubles as an ice rink in the winter. Also connected to an outdoor hiking trail.

This is a beautiful local park that has a playground, ice rink, pavilion, warming house with bathrooms, and walking trails that are stroller accessible.

I met a young man this past year who returns there daily at the time. The structures and location made it a prime location for him and apparently other local homeless to frequent for sleep. Minus apparent police resistance occurs. Note: he was kind and not a physical danger to others. A clear lesson were all not always rolling 7s.

Great parking. Close to beautiful Eau Claire river and walking bridge. Great benches, water, shade, various playground equipment. Good night lighting. Very scenic and peaceful. Pavilion enclosed for reservation with park services.

A convergence, indeed. Boyd is a great park and somewhat of hub being that a few main trails and routes intersect here. Picturesque and convenient.

This beautiful park is on the East Hill in Eau Claire, WI and only a few blocks from my home. Its beauty changes with each season. We have a Native Prairie and walking paths along the Eau Claire River.

Beautiful green space right near bike and walking paths that connect to multiple trails in the Chippewa Valley. Just a few blocks from downtown. Nice modern warming house for the wintertime ice skating rink abs a childrens play area for the summer. One of Eau Clares many gems.

Great little park

A good and underutilized park for old and young kids. There is a separate slide and play area for 2-5y/os and has some jungle gym equipment for the older and more adventurous kids. Nearby pavilion, and scenic overlook of the river from the walking bridge.Timid or worried parents should be advised that there is a steep embankment to the river some yards away from the play area.Bonus: It has an ice skating rink with a warming house in the winter.

We stopped here for a picnic lunch while on vacation. The bridge over the river is beautiful and provided a nice walk to stretch our legs. I only wish we had more time available to explore the rest of the park

Great covered pavilion. Inside facilities are there but not always available for use . Beautiful nature trails . Gorgeous views of the river . Has a cool suspension bridge popular with bicyclists and joggers. Worth the time to check it out .

Activities are limited for pre teens but ok park...

I actually live close to Boyd Park. Its nice seeing the kids playing out in the park. We keep hearing how kids never get out and play, and are only on their game systems and computers. But theres definitely activity at the park, and its good to see.

Was there for a grad party and its a very nice park with great views of the river and the pavilion is clean and spacious.

Well maintained and clean of trash. Picnic tables and bathrooms are nice.

For $10/hr, we got the entire park, pavilion, shelter, and did I mention the ENTIRE PARK? All for just $10!! They have additional tables and chairs and even a mini kitchen inside. Its such a great deal especially if you have kids. The only thing is parking but a little walking wont kill ya!

Large skating rink in the winter, large open space for events and pet play.

Its not a bad park, just kind of old. It could use some sprucing up. Its super convenient to our house and the kids have fun.

Theres a running water bathroom. It also offers a large grassy area for a multitude of activities. Plus, a playground, basketball court, covered pavilion, Wi-Fi, ice cold water fountain, footbridge with a great view of the river, and also an indoor area that you can rent!

Good access to trails. Has a warming house in the winter and a pavilion in the summer. Playgound for the kids and a basketball court. In the winter, the field is flooded and turned into a skating ring with weekly events.

Great park if you like walking, but is not good for fishing from especially if it is your first time going there. The path down is pretty well hidden, I only lucked out of finding it.
