Its a beautiful place to walk, bike, ski, and snowshoe. Dogs allowed on leashes. I love to go after dark, head lamps a blaze to see ahead. Cool crisp weather. My favorite time to go. To many bugs in the summer. Wonderful trails well kept. Events from time to time. Great park.
This is a great park to hike, walk your dog, cross country ski, snowshoe, ride your trail bike, fat tire bike, and I highly suggest it for everyone.
Nice trails. For cross-country skiing, hiking. Pretty flat. Has a fit challenge built in. A little rutty in the winter. Great views, woods.
Trails are generally smooth and did have a fun afternoon. Beautiful scenery. Mostly hard pack, with some sand and a little mud along the creek. There are a ton of small loops, and to a first time rider having to stop so frequently to accomplish a big loop is frustrating. So after a while you just decide to take follow the must worn trail and can end up in a few circle loops.
Great mountain biking trails as they are almost all narrow through the trees. There are bridges and large opens paths connecting it all. As a hiker there are great views and all the paths work both ways for hiking and biking.
Amazing park, one of the best in the area. Maintained beautifully, very popular
Looks like a nice park for exercise and biking, but Google incorrectly showed as having campsites on search results. The park does not have campsites! It is a day park only.
The trails were really nice and great for family hikes!
So many trail and a large area of old growth forest to explore.
Parking is plentiful, facilities are acceptable, and trails are the best in Eau Claire. Good mix of everything with a few trails that can push you out of your comfort zone and plenty that are a blast to ride.
Beautiful park and expo grounds. They offered electric hookup for an overnight stopover at a reasonable self serve price. Great idea! We sure wish lots of other fairgrounds and expo centers had this available!!
Very nice cross country ski trails. Fun well groomed. Skate and classic.
Great clean safe place
Not a lot to see here but a great spot for hiking
Cross country ski trails were freshly groomed, and very pretty. I skied 33 miles, with some repetition, but very enjoyable.
Took the whole family, was a fun place for the kids to explore.
The bathrooms were clean. The seats were so comfortable. If it were during the week, I would have not been able to finish the movie. By now everyone knows that the concessions are higher than giraffe...legs. (Dollar store not far)
Like peace and quite
I wish they would groom there ski trails better. People just think they can walk right in the middle of the trail.
Wonderful trails for walking or biking. Trails are mapped out at the entrance. Different skill levels available. Kid friendly. Bring bug spray though!
Great trails!
Nice trails for cycling, walking, and skiing
Blown away by this hidden little secret in Eau Claire. Hiking, biking, cc skiing, fat tire biking trails. Next to Action City and Chaos water park. Made for a great morning run.
Just love this gem of a county park that was once a locals secret! We love to hike the various paths, while others are out enjoying riding through on their mountain bikes year round. [Just keep your eyes and ears open for the bikes so you can move off trail so they can safely pass.] Yes, I said year round! There is a winter event of skiing, and fat bike racing, as well as a well attended bike race in the summer.Wildlife and wild flowers are throughout the beautiful park, and a meandering creek is there to enjoy, as well. People also picnic and photograph this lovely place. Enjoy your time, here, and stop to smell the wild roses on one of the trails!
Excellent trail system and beautiful views anytime of year!
Great place to recreate. Beautiful trails.
Great place for a unique hike, even better mountain bike trails!
Me, my fiance, and our pups go here almost every morning to spend some quality time together. Many trails, beautiful scenery, and well cut paths make it one of our favorite spots.
Fun trails!
Lowes Creek Park mountain bike trails are some of the best urban single track in the midwest. There are trails for all abilities. CORBA does a great job of maintaining them.
Beautiful views and lovely hiking trails
Great place to walk or bike and cross country ski in the winter. Lots off trails of caring degrees of difficulty. There is a fee to use the site but we purchase a yearly pass that gives access to all Eau Claire County parks.
Concerning MTBing, I have ridden the trails approximately 1000 times. I used to stop about the 1st week in December but I did ride a few times in the winter before 2013. Dont sell these trails short, they are incredibly great. Many have the luxury of having been created without a bulldozer tool. Hickory Ridge is also great but Lowes is a far better technical course. Lowes is probably the main reason I never left Eau Claire yet.7/14/19I revisited Hickory and I wont delete what I wrote before but I underestimated Hickory. Its a big place and all the extra rocks and debris make for a great course.
Beautiful park
Great single track. Wish I had known about the parking on the 93 side in the fairgrounds, its much closer to the interstate. The two black diamond trails are very short, but fun and can be hiked, if needed. The rest is flowy with good elevation changes and plenty of roots. Saw a pair of nesting bald eagles at the top of Onion trail. Worth a ride.
A great beginner place to ride bikes, not the most challenging and can feel very busy at times because it’s very accessible. Otherwise a very nice park.
Well groomed trails on the Southside of EC great for light hiking.
This park is beautiful quite and clean. Peaceful.
I was recently at these trails for the first time and wow was I impressed. The majority of the trails are winding and technical turns. There are a few punchy climbs but the majority is rollers, berms, and weaving though trees. The trail crew does an excellent job and I hope the NICA hs mtb racing league comes back here again next fall! Also there are lots of posted maps, trail markers and rescue points labeled which made navigating without carrying a map very easy!
Biking, skiing, snowshoeing, and walking path for dogs along a beautiful Creek. $30 annual/$6 daily passes available on site or online.
Easy to set up, take down, everything centrally located.
Good riding. Not the biggest fan of two- way trails but some long cruisers in there. Ride if you are in the area but dont travel to it. Skeeters, too.
Awesome Park. Nice and quiet. So dont go there. I like it
Nice little retreat from the ratrace of life.
Beautiful park thats packed with awesome mountain bike and hiking trails. Theres even a fitness trail that has a variety of workout stations.
Beautiful park, with great trails!
Nice trails for bikes, and they hold races and things there.
A very lovely park to get back to nature. It is an awesome place to x country ski.
Great place for a hike or mountain biking.
Kid friendly bike trails!
Great place to spend the afternoon on the trails
One of my favorite places to come to unwind and relax. Go for a walk and breath in the fresh air = happiness!!
Great for hiking by yourself or the while family!
Great place to ride, hike, ski or just be outside. The CORBA crew does a great job.
Mostly wooded (white pines) trails along bluffs either side of Creek. Groomed for cosssic and skate skiing.
Tranquil place to get lost on a summer day; however, I understand the park is open year round. Love mountain biking & the extra stations for fitness the park offers.
Beautiful hiking trails on the South side of Eau Claire! This is a pet-friendly park. Be sure to bring $3 cash to pay for parking!
A great park for mt biking running or hiking. Love spending time there.
Wonderful walking trail. Parking is not free. Country park parking permit (annual or daily) needed to park.
A good amount of single track right in our own back yard.
Skiing, hiking, mountain biking. Geo caching. Lots to do and a great park.
Nice place for a walk. Note that theres an entrance fee, which might be better spent at the free parks.
Great park for hiking, running, and biking. Trails are well kept and lots of signs.
Technically, trails are still closed, but they look good so far ;)
Great place to bike!
Confusing at first but definetly worth the walk/hike/bike/run/snowshoe
Excellent mountain bike trails, always love visits there! They work hard to keep the trails in great shape, and the races there are well done.
Perfect place for beginner, intermediate and advanced mountain bikers!
Amazing bike trails, great paths. Beautiful place with wonderful views!
I loved the bike trails here! Definitely one of my favorite places to ride! Anyone thinking about going out for a days ride ought to check out Lowes Creek!
Fun trails and not very crowded during the week
Woooow! Fantastic! Youll love it!!!
Beautiful scenery and a large selection of plant life and indoor decor
Nice trails and we ended up super close to a deer several times. Bring your big spray though!
Just Beautiful!!
Great place to see wildlife and bike or run, walk, and winter cross country ski.
